Hi,
For last 2 days im unable to update weather on touchFlo screen.
I got message "There was a connection error while attempting to download weather data. retry? Yes/No"
Both internet and mail works fine, so i dont know what to do.
Any ideas?
Im on T-mobile UK.
Got the same problem and I am on the other end of Europe, so I guess their servers are down?

same here - im on vodafone. Guess the server is down. My last update was last night, but it took a long time to get

me too its happened about 2 days ago i thought it's because my wifi or my 3G connection lost but it wasnt

I have the same problem starting today, yesterday it happened occasionally.
tried alredy to disable proxy, connect directly through WiFi, and still same problem.
Must be accuweather server then.
Strange, cause their site wirks fine.
Have been having problems for the last couple of days, does look like a server issue

I was freaking out as I have just got my Touch Pro and I though I had broken it somehow? Have Hard Reset it 3 times but still the weather update keeps reporting a connection error. What to do? I am in New Zealand and have tried 3G & WiFi and it mkes no difference! I have emailed HTC Support about the issue but is there any way to confirm if it is AccuWeather's problem? Hope this can be resolved as I don't want to start tinkering with the ROM while it is still so new and under warantee. Helpful advice appreciated
Couldn't get the editor to work, something about a newer net needed? Whatever that is??? It wouldn't run.

Try the fix right above your post. I went through all the same things you did to try to fix it and just following those steps worked. (Don't ask me why!)

Thanks tried that but it complained about needing some newer net or something like that and wouldn't run the editor..

Hello World it seems that the even though the Editor won't actually run it does something that enables the weather updates to run again. Strange? What does it do that fixes it???

In case it stops working again or you ever need to install another program that requires the latest .NET CF, you can download it here:

Download net 3.5 and weather editor 1.2 and I get an error: fire write protection of database could't removed. What is this??

Great thanks, done all that and we are up and running again. Thanks everyone for your help.
dont know if its just accuweather server been fixed, or what, but everything works fine again. All i did was installing .Net 3.5 from: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...49-3C6B-42F1-9FD9-0041345B3385&displaylang=en
And after soft reset everything is back to normal.

Hi friend, sometimes this happen with me too. But I try connect one more time and work. I don't know if is one bug of ROM. If is a bug, maybe be of app, already that happen only with apps google.

Description of the problem : I am not able to hear, and my correspondant won't hear either, until I turn the loudspeaker on. However, when I turn it off again, It magically works. Also, no problem with ingoing calls.
I am able to hear a voicemail without this manipulation.
I tried different CM12 roms, and use the last firmware and google play services.
Anyone facing this issue? Is there a workaround?

Have you tried a NON-CM12 rom ? Does it do that on CM11S ?

I don't really want to put CM11s back on my phone, as I am not using MultiRom and love CM12. All I know is that It didn't happen back in the time when I was using CM11s.
This imply it could be either a CM12 problem or a google play services update problem, right ?

I also have this issue which does not produce each time. I changed the kernel to Franco to see if something solve the problem and for now, I don't have any issue.
Try another kernel, just check if it's compatible with CM12.
Keep this thread updated if you find a permanent solution.

Not sure if it's the same problem.. Mine started occuring 1 month ago, what's more, nobody mentioned the trick with on/off speakerphone to solve the issue temporarily.
I'm testing different ways of solving this problem, will update this thread when I find a permanent solution !

CM11s or the latest CM11 nightly don't have this annoying bug.
@thryy So the solution is in order to get all outgoing calls working "Touch Sound" need to be activated. Settings ->Sound and notifications-> Other Sounds

I just tried the new nightly 02.20 in order to make some new tests. It seems in my case that the issue was caused by the gapps I was using. In fact, with a new gapps package I don't have this issue for the moment. ?
Yesterday I updated my Honor 8 via the Systemupdate Menu. Since the Update I am struggling with WLAN Problems.
I never disconnect from the network but every minute or so the connection gets super slow. Like 100Bits/Second slow.
This does not only happen at my home network but also at work. I tried resetting the network settings but nothing changed... I am clueless at this point on what to do.
Any help is appreciated a lot!

Nevermind the probem is still there. I reinstalled my apps and now have the same problem. Also i noticed that the Wlan Symbol goes from full connectivity to 0 and vice versa all the time..
How can I check which App causes the problem? When i reboot in save mode I can't find a way to test the connection. Could switching the main storage path to a SD be the cause in any way?
Because this time the problem started occuring again once I rebooted after switching this setting.
I resetted the phone and just installed Twitch to have a constant live stream running to be able to see when the problem occurs. The problem still happens every few minutes.
I now deinstalled Twitch and installed the Ookla Speedtest and the problem comes up from time to time again. I also deinstalled every preinstalled app after the reset. So i am pretty sure that apps are not the problem..

I used "Twitch" to have a constant live stream running and when I saw that the stream froze I checked applications like the PlayStore and they were not able to connect aswell.

I talked to Honor Support and now Wiped the System Cache and did a Factory Reset from the Debug Menu. Lets see if that helps
I issued a replace unit from Amazon and hope that will solve it once for all
They should replace it

I did a rollback already to Android 6 Emui 4.0 and updated via System update to Android 7 B380. The Problem however still occurs and I think
it is getting worse now. I barely have a minute of functional WLAN. However my replacement Unit was luckily granted. So I will get a new phone these days

To be honest I did not check :/ I instantly upgraded to B380 which worked fine before the update.
I'm facing a strange network error in my OnePlus Nord. Most of the time it can't connect to internet from Google app, Google widget and Google assistant on mobile data. On wifi works fine and other apps in background can use internet at the same time.
You allready submitted the issue(in you're other thread), and if you look closely at OP Forum it's a known bug especially with some carriers. Best to make a bug report @op Forum. So they can take it in their next update (hopefully). Guess it affects many users (including me). I will rapport it also. The more the better. So you are not alone. I don't know if OP Staff looks here @XDA.

Thanks for your support, but iam here because no one staff member of OP was replied on my issue...let me clarify that the issue has been noticed to team OnePlus...... Googling is basics of smartphone, if basics not working properly, then customer be in panic.

Nobody can answer that mate, you just have to backup your data, do the fastboot flashing, restore and try again

When I connected to a VPN, there no such problem, kindly define the issue or u have any idea ? What cause the problem.

The same here. Assistant replies with "No connection at the time".
As soon as i open any other app that connects fine and assistent works again as well.
same problem here, i have moved from moto z2 force which had network constantly restarted so my frustration is at limit
Same here, I may return mine cause it poised me for one month, I use map everyday and Google search 1 time out of 3 it does not work.
Today I noticed my screen is becoming purple/red when I lower brightness, also auto brightness never worked as intended.
Too much issues. I tried getting help from oneplus but they just told me to clear cache, factory reset blablabla. I offered the same phone to my g friend she has the same issues.
Btw a colleague got a 7 pro, same issues but a different career operator than us.
Have you tried with a custom rom ? So we will now if it's software or hardware related...

Just a suggestion , not sure it will work or not. There is private DNS settings under wifi and network, try to tinker with it.
Tried Automatic and Off, no differences.
Can you try once with selecting private DNS provider option and input this - 1dot1dot1dot1.cloudflare-dns.com
