I am having AT & T HTC Inspire 4G Unlocked, so I am using t-Mobile service, I have purchased it from Amazon.
It is having Android version 2.2.1,Now, I want to update the gingerbread version on my without locking it.
I am very new in android stuffs.....so.
Let me know the step by step guide with the links of source material to do it on my AT & T Inspire 4G.

Hey guys i am a very displeased user of Sprint's Hero. I've had to custom install many different versions of android over the last year that i've had it because sprint doesn't like to update its phones. Well I know there isn't an official release for this update but i really want 2.2 on my phone so if someone could post a link to the ROM for my phone that would be really helpful. Or is a version even out yet?

I purchased the Nexus S with the intention of getting the full 'Google experience' after previously owning a T-Mobile branded Hero and waiting months for updates because of HTC and then T-Mobile customisations.
Now I'm reading Vodafone has a slightly modified rom and as a result am assuming I may have to wait for them to clear 2.3.4?
What I'm looking to achieve right now is a stock i9023 build which will update as Google release their OTA updates, is this possible?
I've already rooted the device, although at the moment I'm not too worried about having root access for anything other than getting a stock build on the phone. In time I'll probably try custom roms as I did for the Hero.

I also have a "Vodafone" Nexus S and manually updated it to 2.3.4.
No problems what so ever...

Hi - I just bought HTC SENSATION Z710E (99HNA060-00) through a different forum for $300 cash.
I am on T-mobile USA. I bought it to use it with the t-zones/web2go plan.
I had a question., I also have the UMA feature on my account, I believe T-mobile HTC Sensation come with the Wifi Calling app, is there a way to have it added to my phone?

Now, I guess I just need to update it to the latest Android Revolution but what concerns me is how do I check if I need to do all the steps over again, the person did do a factory reset when he gave it to me.

I have a tmobile mytouch 4g slide i rooted it through the revolutionary website and everything but i just seen today that its a software update showing from tmobile how can i tell if my rom i used needs to be updated or what ever....i have clock work recovery mod 2.0.5.7

I need another option for rooting an HTC inspire 4G running Android 2.3.5
I've tried ACE (option 1 and option o), Fromaroot (multiple versions), Pete's Motorola Root Tool and still cant root the phone. It appears this version 2.3.5 is just tricking and I can't find a vunerability. I want to upgrade the ROM to another more current version as 2.3.5 currently does not support some apps on the market I'd like to use. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
