I noticed that I have two versions of the media hub installed. I don't know if this happened after the upgrade today or before. One app I can uninstall the other I can't. Which is the latest version. They have the same version number but didifferent other numbers. I have an s3 so maybe one of those app came from that device

Readers Hub works for me (all three parts) but there's some nonsensical stuff happening which I just don't understand.
The Market has a version of Kobo that is newer than that in Readers Hub (even after Readers Hub updates to what it thinks is the latest)- the one on the Market is newer and has more functionality like Importing ebooks which is crucial for me
The Market has a version of Press Reader that is newer than that in Readers Hub (even after Readers Hub updates to what it thinks is the latest)
Now the result is that I have two versions of Kobo and two versions of Press Reader!! Both fully functioning but separate- one of each in Readers Hub and one of each as a standalone App in the launcher (checked the Versions)
Does anyone know how I can install the newer ones from the Market as replacements for the Readers Hub versions?
Unnecessary bloatware methinks
Update: Resolved (newer Readers Hub wrapper?)
I upgraded to Overcome 1.6 and it now updates Kobo and PressReader to the latest versions (released 18/04) in the Market
I'm guessing the ones you update via Readers Hub/Samsung Apps are specifically designed for the Tab where the Market version are for everyone else.

Well if you are right then the ones for everyone else work better on the Tab than the ones designed for the Tab

Guess it'll be easier than going into Readers Hub. And you can make shortcuts

ha ha
It would be nice if I could get rid of Readers Hub then
Maybe I can try to remove it with Titanium Backup
I'm sure Root Explorer will do that for you just fine.

Readers Hub seems to have gotten its act together

Kobo from the Google Market is indeed more recent than Kobo from ReadersHub / Samsung Market. However, things are different with PressReader, as noted here:

PressReader v1.4+ (formerly PressDisplay) is bundled with Samsung's ReadersHub (the app gets updated via Samsung's own market, but doesn't show-up as an independent app outside of ReadersHub). PressReader v1.3+ is the latest version from the Google Market. As a result, I now have 2 PressReader accounts (which come with free trial newspapers). I'm not a heavy PressReader user, so I can't really tell the difference.

Is this still the case?
I know there was an update about a week ago which brought the Samsung Apps/Readers Hub up to the latest version on the Market.
For some reason, I can not find certain apps in the Market like the Astro Key I purchased (mind you Astro app is installed), FiOS Mobile Remote, etc. Any suggestions?
Its because those apps are copy protected, and since the leaked RUU has a build unrecognized by google at this point, those protected apps are not going to show. So unless thats the offical OTA build, those apps will never show because google has to change the market to show copy protected apps for every official build of every phone. So if that software is final, they will eventually show up, if its not, they never will, unless you root your phone and change the build string

Wow interesting I have the leaked ruu and can still see these apps in the market. Op just send an email over to Google and they will help you out don't listen to this guy. For about 6 hours yesterday I couldn't download anything (got a download unsuccessful error) emailed the market team and got a response back helping me out.

I see all the purchased apps as well including the astro pro key and it shows installed..
It's the strangest thing really. Everything else I can download except for those two apps. I will contact Google for help. Thank you everyone.
P.S. I never had this issue when I installed a leaked RUU on my Incredible except from going to Froyo from Eclair.
Agreed. Astro Key is definitely there and I running the leaked RUU.
+1 - Astro Key and FIOS Mobile Remote with leaked radio...
I'll tell you I'm fed up with EA mobile... I purchased two of their apps when I was on T-mobile... And if I'm using any device that's not on Verizon (ie T-mobile, at&t, or Sprint) the apps will show. But on any device on the Verizon network (I've tried the dinc and the TB) it wants you to buy them again. Sadly enough this is a known issue with EA mobile and they actually charge more for the same app on Verizon vs other providers. I wish there was a way to fix the issue myself as their support team has been playing dumb regarding this...

Check out the app called Market Enabler on the market. you can fake your carrier to T-Mobile for the android market.
When I got my Nexus 5 sound search wasn't available even though it was actually installed on my phone. Using root explorer once I opened the Google ears apk, the widget appeared in the list and I was able to use it. Maybe it's because I'm in Canada, I don't know.
I've been having trouble syncing it with my account. Since Google Music all access became available in Canada yesterday, I figured I'd check to see if I could update Google Sound Search. There wasn't an update, but my phone is running version 1.1.12 and the play store says their version is 1.1.8 but I cannot download it, says already installed.
Anyone have any advice on how I can get the current version on my phone?
Hi all,
I have a Galaxy Nexus and had previously installed the latest Parandoid Android ROM. Yesterday I flashed FML 5.0 Lollipop ROM. Now when checking out my list of 'all apps', I noticed that there are two versions of Exchange Services on my phone.
I have version 6.5-1520254 and version 5.0-eng.kyle.20141115.230936.
That second one is the exact same version number as my old google calendar app, which is running, alongside my new google lollipop agenda app. I don't really understand how I got two apps, and started a different thread about this here.
I don't know much about this stuff, but could I turn off my old agenda and the older exchange service? Or will that cause other problems?
I recently switched to the Oneplus 7 Pro, updated to Android 10 and to my surprise, the calls made through WhatsApp and other similar apps can now be routed through Gear S3.
I also tested this on Pixel XL running Android 10 and so I assume it should work on all Android 10 devices.
Just wanted to let you guys know in case it hasn't been mentioned already.

Can you tell me how you got your plugin working?? I'm on a Pixel XL and it keeps telling me to check my software and update. I couldn't install from the play store it said my device was incompatible. So I downloaded the app but I get the update message... Any help would be amazing! Can't use my watch at all...

Hmm. Never ran into that issue. Maybe try hiding magisk manager and also using magisk hide for the three apps related to gear S3.
Also, in my case, the apps were available on the play store.
Are you sure you're using the latest apks?
Running Lineage 17 ROM may have been the issue as it was incompatible in the Play Store. Found a solution today figured I'd post it here as this was a top link for my search and hopefully it will help others.
Reset your watch and remove all Samsung related apps from your phone.
Install these two APK's and your back in business

For me, these plugins were incompatible in the Play store and many others I tried did not work. Only these 2 versions got me up and running again, so I figured I'd share them from my DB to hopefully help others.
