read whole roooting tutorial again and sort out at which stage you made a mistake. and i dont think that you have bricked your phone as you can go into recovery.
You must install a custom recovery on your phone ,refer to the guide by me or jaggyjags to flash recovery
Then you need to flash a good rom which suits your needs, you may try my InFuZed Rom :

To flash it see the above thread.

Hi guys ,just upgraded to a plain Sensation and id like to be rid of the htc crap...im a bit scared as ive had issues before (where i kind of ****ed up things and had to be rescued by fellow xdaers)
its running the stock ics.ive managed to root it and unlock the boot loader, the hboot is the 1.27 one thats a pain......how can i get into the groove in an easy turbo noob way...i have searched but just found everything a little intimidating
you shouldn't have unlocked the bootloader but no matter. follow the guide to s-off for sake of simplicity down the road.
honestly, of all the roms, I've been most happy with virtuous inquisition. It's a bit "aged" at this point, but in terms of stability, it's what's kept me.
It's still sense based, so all features still work, but beyond that, it's more or less an aosp experience.
give it a shot or one of the newer senseless / aosp style roms
ive got cw recovery installed and yes i still have s on.....is it just a case of placing the zip on the sd and installing from recovery?

you can flash roms even with S-ON but i suggest you to install 4ext recovery.see here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1631861
Try installing rom manager from the market then install cwm9.1.0 from within the app. It is fast, stable and vanilla. I tried it, but I missed all the sense stuff so I reverted back to stock.
ok so is now the time to panic?i did as brusko suggested...and ticked all the options....wipe back up and install.....now im just stuck at the cyanogen boot screen........ok im freaking now..heeelp when i used to use my ols sgs i9000 i had a set of progs and files i could rescue it with....is there such thing for this?

actually because you are S-ON the recovery doesn't flash the boot.img by itself(has not the ability to write the boot partition)
that's why i suggested you to flash the 4ext recovery because it has the feature for enable the smartflash
other solution is to follow the extra 1 part of the thread that i provided you in my previous post
if the one fails try the other
best wishes
Oops! Didn't know you had stock recovery. just flash 4ext recovery and the 1 extra step like the post above mentioned. goodluck!
---------- Post added at 08:08 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:59 PM ----------
Don't panic. It happened to me too! Use this tool to flash 4ext recovery http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1497404
start your device when you get to the cyanogen boot screen, plug your device to your computer using usb cable, then start up the all in one tool kit, and flash 4ext recovery. Then boot into recovery if doesnt do it for you. In 4ext recovery chose toggle usb and transfer a rom in zip format to your sd (I chose ARHD 6.7.2)then chose disconnect. now choose install zip file from sd and flash the rom you just transferred. reboot device, install rom manager again from the market and install cwm 9.1.0 from within the rom manager. This should fix your problem! this is how I fixed mine Goodluck!
i appreciate this guys...ive got ext4 installed now i think....i still cant boot into the full phone only to the logo still

Bruce's CM10 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1782009 or DragunKorr's Paranoid Android http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1879111 . The latter being my personal favourite.

Quite a smart looking paperweight tho... ;]
But seriously folks..
Yeah man I think 3.32 is fine. I'm on 3.33 myself, but I've read numerous posts with users of 3.32 with no problems.
Check the OPs of both threads for full installation instructions - particularly around S-on/S-off as (without looking) I think Bruce's needs off and I think DragunKorr's is OK with on, but I'm sure after rooting and installing 4ext, you should be fine.
One more thing - nothing wrong with being a noob. Everybody was at one time and people who flame others for asking "noobish" questions should **** off and find something better to do.
hello guys I wanted to know that I have to flash directly build latest or I have to start from build 1, I don't know please help me out with this am using stock htc room nothing else on it only rooted will it workproperly and also will i be able to restore if got stuck?

Now you flash some custom rom, 2.3.5 and then cranium, if you want you can get your back up, and that's it .
[friendly advice] Next time you read a bit more and don't panic
backup restored and everyone pannic at first time bootloop lol
Yes, than you realize that there is nothing to be scared about especially when we don't have s-off, to hardware brick this device you need a lot of tallent, or a hammer. First time when i saw htc white screen was really scary, after that I got used to it (then only custom rom was jaggy's 2.xxx something version and to get white screen was pretty much mandatory )

So, before everyone says to use the search button, im gonna say that i used it and didnt find anything, but to my problem. So i just then took out my HTC Sensation from the cupboard and decided to start "playing with it". So i read tutorials about rooting, and finally got it rooted with the help of this:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1632553
After i got it rooted, i thought you can put roms just like with Samsung phones. So i downloaded this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2115520 I put it on the sdcard and flashed via CWM and now its stuck, even tho it said everything went ok.
My question is that is this fixable and do you have to do something with HTC phones before flashing a rom?
Hi
Greetings,
According to the info you gave I belive your "s-on"
Your phone is recoverable.
Download 4ext recovery for HTC sensation .
Install that recover and boot into recover,
Recover>tools>enable smartflash
After enableing smart flash, flash the Rom you want your phone will boot.
Remember to make a clean installation(wipe everything except sdcard)
For more info search for guide" how to flash Rom with son" in general sector
IF I HELPED YOU, HIT THE THANKS BUTTON or HIT THE THANKS BUTTON.

Hi,
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
I made a huge mistake and i hope i didn't "Brick" my phone.
I'm a noob and some where i got lost while trying to boot the HatkaXL ROM and I'm going to be learning a very harsh lesson on recovery...
So, good news is that i copied my Clockwork mods recovory to my PC before i took my SDcard and deleted everything from it.(in hopes that i could install it clean)
When i thought just flashing back to my priviously saved file would work... it did not.
If you need to know more. I'll be glad to give what u need to help this noob out..
If your phone can boot, even bootloop, ur phone is not bricked. Are you soff or s-on? Can you get into your recovery?

I found out at school a friend flashed her HTC alotand he got me back and running. I took your advice and TWARP is a lot nicer for booting.
He said that I never had the tool to flash the Boot.img file to Flashboot mode so when it started the OS (
[ROM][Apr 25] Team Venom ViperXL 3.2.8 Jelly Bean | Venom Tweaks)
It never could boot. also, i never cleared the cache, data and what-not before installing.
Thank you though and I'll delete this thread. :good:
What's up everybody! This is my first post here and I am what you would call a noob!
First of all I got tired of the 4.2.2 jb upgrade never coming to my htc one s and decided to give cyanogenmod 10.1 a shot (my first attempt ever tampering with mobile software)!
So I have unlocked the bootloader on my phone following a guide. It now says ''unlocked''
After that, I have tried to flash the paul recovery.img from this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1583427 .
I have done it through adb with the command promt as it says on the article above!
The command promt apparently managed to do the job and it said ''finished'' as it should!
Then i rebooted the phone into recovery mode through the bootloader menu but it then stucks there doing nothing...I have left it for 5 minutes and it was still like that and i thought that the recovery wasn't succesful (i ve seen it going very fast at the clockworkmod menu at videos on youtube while mine was stuck). I then rebooted it by holding down the power button and it went to the sence screen normally.
Then i have tried the other recovery img described at the article...Same thing happened...Then the other one! Same thing again!
Every time i am trying to flash the recovery image the phone stucks in ''entering recovery...'' screen, doing nothing.
Am I doing something wrong?
Please help, it will be much appreciated! I really want to dig custom roms...I' m a total geek
Thanks in advance!!

To boot into recovery, Hold VolumeDown + Power.
Edit: maybe you've done that, but make sure that you choose the correct recovery version. that is, match the version of your phone S3/S4 with the recovery.
Specific recovery for specific phone.

The link works, i ve managed to do it but twrp is useless if you want to flash any roms...I have tried every known version of cm for htc one s and I can't flash any of them in my phone through the twrp recovery...Always fails for no apparent reason! If you want my advise, do not waste your time, cause it's almost certain that ig you flash any custom rom, you will loose the advantages of htc sense, including the camera performance and special effects and also the beautiful widgets...If anyone though knows how to flash a REALLY nice rom with twrp we will be glad to hear his/her suggestions!

sad part is I'm not going for anything fancy.. When I bought the phone (last week) it had version 4.1 on there and all I want to do is upgrade it to 4.2... and no it's NOT available through AT&T in anyways what's so ever.. hence the flash recovery chaos.
If no one response with a solid solution, then I'm just gonna let it be like you said.
