Mee too having this problem where process.acore force closes whenever i tries to sync facebook frnds with my contacts ....... Havn't found any solution , i m using hexgore's stockplus .....

Ok so my friend has bought his brand new HTC Sensation 3 days ago, and today he recived OTA ICS update. He applied the update and everything finished OK, but now the phone would not boot ! It is stuck on HTC screen, then it is restarting and again and again. I am not familiar with the HTC Sensation(currently I have SGN), so any help will be welcome please.
P.S I tried hard reset but without success

Well since its stock and not moddified he should go back to the store and ask for a new phone, its always great to have a new phone even if its 3 days after
You can tried RUU to the GB version which I believe can be found here [ROM]Shipped Pyramid ROM Collection but you have to know the right version to download.

How to find out which version he had previously ? ? ?
If its unmodded just exchange it as suggested above.

I did that but without success. But at the end we returned the phone and now we are waiting for new one.
My sensation XE using a 4.0.3 ROM for nearly a year. It could not boot since hours ago. Just stopped at the beats audio logo. Anyone can help on that? My phone book is very important and I did not backup recently. Fixing the problem or save my phone book are both OK. Apperciate any help.

Try to re-flash the ROM.
You will not lose any settings or data.

the main camera,the front camera and the flash isn't working on my phone.I think it's a software problem,because there's no chance that they get broken at the same time.I tried to fix it with installing the original android 2.3,and custom 4.0, 4.1, and now I use it with the android 4.2 .
please help me,if you can!

Have u made a full wipe bfore installing the Rom
Wipe dalvik cache aftr installation
Also try using 3rd party app if that too dosent work try switching the rom n check

Hey guys
My brother got the sensation a while ago, so i took it, rooted, and flashed a new rom.
I also think I updated the firmware because its running ICS(used to be 2.3).
Anyway, the phone is very laggy and slow plus when I get a call most time it reboots.
I flashed cyanogen rom (4.2.2) and through the set up it rebooted.
I wiped every thing before I installed CM.
Has any body experienced this before? any ideas?

did you root with S-Off or On..provide more info

lol, thats the problem i guess. Its not lagging on 4.2.2 but when I get a call it reboots..

guys after flashing CM10 the phone works great but it over heats a lot and most of the time when I get a call, I answer, it reboots..

I don't think it's a hardware issue. You could try a stock ROM or an RUU to see if the problem is fixed. Try clearing the cache and data from the phone app and see if that fixes it.

Before installing CM10, I cleared the cache and date, rest to factory and wiped dalvik cache. I always flash roms on my oneX and DHD but never experienced this problem.
I noticed something, after booting in CM10 for the first time, the prior venom wallpaper was there which was awkward...
could be this the recovery? Im currently using CWM flashed directly from play store.
PLZ help guys this phone is becoming very annoying, almost every call I receive it will reboot
Hmm...I am running out of ideas. I think you need to somehow re-install the phone.apk, but this is coming from a semi-noob. You might need a pro to help you on this.
One more idea... Did you try putting a piece of cardboard by the battery to keep it in properly (although it's only when you open the phone app)

Flash 3.33 firmware. Try a Rom with sense 3.6. Elegancia works well. Then try different kernels. Lets see if u still have these issues.

As I mentioned in the first post that my brother uses the phone.
Sorry to disappoint you but the problem was from the battery
I dont know how i did not think about it.
I folded a piece of paper and placed it behind the battery and since then it never rebooted

So my friends and i has 3 sensation decices .. i rooted them all and installed viper custom rom on everyone of them
But one of the deviced just keep rendomly rebooting and restarting for no reason
I tried to re format it but it didnt solve it
Anyone here have any idea about it

did you overclock too much?
try with flashing the boot.img via fastboot command
