Hi guys. In this days I put Windows 95 on Eee Pad Transformer and I decide to do a guide for all user!
Now, let's begin with requirements:
- Every devices that have 1 GHz or more...
- Every devices with 1GB or more...
- Android obviously..
- 250MB free on your internal storage or in your SD..
- A screen with 480x800 resolution or more...
- A PC...
- 7-zip installed on your PC
- 150MB free on your PC (for the decompression)
- The package with SDL, c.img and Bochs2_5_1.apk
For english users I give this package (http://www.mediafire.com/?awzl27cymm21iif), and for italian user (I'm italian and I made an image in italian , or for someone that want to learn a new language ) (http://www.mediafire.com/?ixlehj2xo5ulcoj).
Download your package (113MB for english package; 120 for italian package);
So, decompress the package with 7zip;
Then install the emulator Bochs2_5_1.apk on your device;
copy in your SD or in your internal storage the folder "SDL";
DON'T EDIT RAM SETTINGS OR OTHER THING BOCHSRC.TXT, YOU MAY STOP THE APP, if this happens, copy the original file "bochsrc.txt" in the folder "SDL". You may change only the name of images in *.txt file.
Bugs:
2nd *.img image doesn't work (I don't know why but I'm working on it),
CD image (*.iso) doesn't work (same thing).
Floppy image (*.img) doesn't work (same thing).
In italian image, at the start, there is a RUNDLL error, it's normal, don't worry

PS: Windows 95 isn't upgradeable (because of limited space). If I find a new method to create new inges, I say you it.

A CPU/GPU like Tegra 2 is working, so Windows 95 is fully working on it (only for emulation). I tested all ROMs and it is a bit slow but working.
New progress
I fixed the 2nd HD problem, now it's available!! Copy new bochsrc.txt in SDL folder!! (Now you can use c.img like second HD, you can modify the img file with WinImage

ahahahah no!!! This machine has 384MB RAM, now (with the 2nd HD) I try to install Windows 98.
I'm installing Windows 98 on TF101! But only in english. If someone give me an image of Windows 98 in english (torrent please) I thank him.

Now, with new bochsrc.txt, you can add the 3rd HD *.img file . Then Windows 98 is supported by BOCHS, but it's a bit slow. Italian ROM is ready to upload, while English ROM is in working I upload system ROM very early
PS: Windows 2000 isn't supported by slowness of the virtual machine and the limited space available! Sorry :/

Guys, Windows 98 is available (only for italians). Windows 98 in english is ready to install but the installation takes about 6 hours and 30 minutes so I organize this installation tomorrow or an other day of this week.

Docking station works very well to me Windows 95 cannot be fixed to make it good and speed!!
Use only docking ststion (other keyboard may not work). Sounds works to someone?? Other problem??
Touch works, volume+ is left btton of mouse, volume- is right button of mouse.
Have you also win 98 english image ready for download?

if you have office mobile 6.0, than only older formats (up to v. 2003) are supported. If you have 6.1, also new xml based formats are supported.
well - editor. Not real. Create simple e. g. ecel template file (extension *.xlt) and edit it in your smartphone....

Hm the kitchen supports it and the Dr. Gonzo New_Guava ROM Version 0.2b. You can also get MoDaCo Do New. When you install it you get shortcuts for creating files in the office folder!

What You Need

How To Flash

- Connect Your Phone To Your PC
- Vista Users Make Sure You Have Windows Mobile Center Installed And You Have Established A Connection
- XP Users Make Sure You Have ActiveSync Installed And You Have Established A Connection

- Now That You Know Your Phone Is Connected To Your PC Run The Loader File Which You Downloaded (Double Click On Click To Run.exe)
- After You Run The Loader File A Black Screen Will Pop Up On Your PC
- Follow The Steps 1 and 2 On The Black Screen (You Will Only Complete Steos 1 and 2, Step 3 Is Not Needed And Does Not Work)
- After You Complete Step 2 On The You Should Have An All White Screen On Your Touch
- If You Have An All White Screen On Your Touch You Are Done
- Now Just Run The ROMUpdateUtility.exe That You Downloaded With The Rom (Make sure your phone is in the white screen)

it should work on elfin this is a os only rom no radio, spl ipl or splash

It won't run on elfin (on mine at least).
I tried with several RUU, including (at first attempt) with the one provided in the archive.
I think it has to deal with the version number which is set to 1.00.... Seyia, on win-mobile forum (french) had the same issue with flash for elfin, while his rom was flashing with no problem on elf.
If you could renew your rom with an other version number, it should do the trick
BTW, i'd really like to test this rom

You can run the Page Pool changer or device_info.bat applications to view or change the PP size (see my sig).

did you use the elfin friendly version?
hey, i just flashed my elf with this rom and everything works great. one problem i noticed was that when i press the volume button and click the volume icon it opens the battery settings and the signal icon opens the volume.. other than that its great!

that's the point I didn't use elfin friendly version but it work well,should it be a abnormal thing?
the only problem I encounter by now is when I slide tab to message, it can just display english character but other words like chinese are missing, any idea about it?

This is an amazing ROM! I have been taking a break from flashing new ROMs and glad I tried this. I haven't even loaded any other apps and may not. Great job!
So far I have not found anything I don't like - and that never happens! I prefer the PCM keyboard with my skin, but the one on this ROM is certainly acceptable and I will likely get used to it. The dialer is amazing. I have not seen that slide up and down to hide the commands before.
If there is anyone on the fence about trying this ROM - DO IT - DO IT NOW. I had no problems flashing using the ELFIN files on post one.

one of my friends who used toshiba g710 have successed with this rom......he only said that the speed of gps is a little slow....
perhaps you should use amoiflash.exe to operate.
by the way,amoi E78 updated this rom that the screen will also appear "loadRAM failed in bin"
but your phone is VDA\G710 ! SO i dont know the reason........

In the instructions that you give here is either amoiflash.exe or mover.exe
I still yesterday successfully put in my G710 rom from E78 (using mover.exe)
problem is that the poor function of the buttons and trackball ..
Amoiflash.exe always freezes and I must be terminated (I have version R03 and R05)
I need 100% functional image to G710/VDA GPS/GSM6711A...

Could you please try to upload to some other place like megaupload, which will at least first make sure it 's not problem of the files?
Everytime when the percentage of downloading goes to around 70%. then it finished...

E78 is different from G710\vda.... for example:keyboad drive ,keypad_jogball..and GPS.. YOU CANT update E78‘s rom..
my fiend used G710 has really succeed.....
perhaps your phone is different...perhaps this file has really problem.....

你可以自行汉化 反正有e78的现成中文资源
目前有个修改了键盘驱动的rom 就是键盘不错位的中文rom 但是并没有gps 因为是根据e78的rom来修改的 不过你可以自己加上GPS的相关内容

i have flashed my vodafone vda gps with the wrong img. neptune 11.
Now my Screen hang after win mobile.
i haved flash back to an other img GSM6711wm6.0_AT-Q6-20080421.img
the img is going on but i don´t can scroll with the ball.and the img is only eng.
can any body help me?

But some questions come to mind:
Did you install the framework and its service packs?
+ " " install the C++ Redist?
+ " " use my files?
+ " " make sure that the ROM was larger that 50.1 MB (52,567,531 bytes)?

HP as far as i know are not going to release an official update to FroYo i have some details of the hardware on this smartbook and i dont think that porting froyo to the airlife would be something too hard to do because it has simmilar hardware as the Nexus one
the hardware details i have are the following
-qualcomm Snapragon SoC model QSD8250 with integrated Scorpion CPU @1ghz (v1.02)
-512 mb ram/512 mb Flash Memory
-16 gb of internal Storage
-10.1 inch 1024x600 wsvga resistive touchscreen
-Atheros wifi (v1.02)
-qualcomm integrated gps
-Bluetooth (i didn't have any information about the specific hardware)
-STMicroelectronics 0.3 mp camera
