Symptoms of fast charge enabled. Install NStools from the market and check if it's enabled. If it is, untick it with the USB cable unplugged and try to connect after that.

Weird... did you try a clean reflash? Or another JB ROM? JellyBelly is running really great for me without any problems.

Hello could some one test and see if their USB otg works with clean Rom 2.5 for me. Mine is not and I really don't want to Odin back to stock to try it on stock if I don't need to. I thanks in advance.

I'm not on cleanrom but I'm having the same issue on cm10. When I plug in my PS3 controller it works great. However when I plug in a flash drive I'm told the SD card is corrupt and need to format. Haven't tried a mouse and keyboard yet.

It doesn't work that way. Stock recovery looks for a zip signed with a private key, manufacturers don't give those out.
You have to install a custom recovery, which you'll generally need root to do.

If your on gingerbread super one click should work. You may have to try it a few times before it goes. At least I always had to

Just curious, how do you charge your phone if the USB is broke? I'm assuming you mean the physical connector is damaged.

Have you think about using a USB Jig to force download mode??

Bought it from a friend.... ya I tried my USB jig on it just to see if it would do something and no luck with it... but I'm on phone now just no USB... might be firmware issue

If you are still using stock Rom, try to temporarily unroot your device and try again. If it doesn't work try unchecking USB debugging. If it still doesn't work, you'll really have to fully unroot your device to play it

Not if the app is set to detect root. Then you will have to unroot every time you want to play. More and more apps are using this method.
Bought mobile odin, did the check md5 option then next then I know screen is black and phone is unresponsive.
Computer does recognize the phone because it makes noise when I plug it in.
Cant get into recovery or download mode.

Is battery dead ? pull battery , let sit for 5 min. then plug into wall to charge for 30-60 min and try to turn on.
Battery was at 70% when this happened. It does not show battery charing animation
