Silent boot for HTC Desire HD

Hey guys, is there any application out there that can mute the startup tone for the HTC Desire HD phone? Where the "quietly brilliant" startup, there is this startup tone that I want to mute it. Is there any ways I can do it?
I'm on stock.

There isn't any app that do that, sirry. You have to Root & S-OFF your phone

Try rebooting in silent mode. I own 2 android devices and when they are in silent mode and reboots, there is not startup sound. When the ringer is on and it reboots, then there is the startup sound.

hi newbie here formally a nokia fanboy
just got the htc sensation and have some issues
1- ringtone selection....
how to use my own mp3s for email and sms alert
now i have been able to set my ringtone fine,ive looked on the htc forums followed some things there but dont work.
ive tried tone picker,but not getting alerts for email.....
the option "get more" asks you to got to htc sense whatever that is..
2- volume level
tried volume plus does not make it louder as ringtones not very loud.
thanks in advance just looking for some apps that can fix these two issues

I use Handcent (free download from Market) for SMS and MMS. With that you get a function for tone selection that is working for me. It comes also when you go through setting options.

[Q] Ring connected with notification on ICS

Hello all,
I am stock rooted on my Sensation XE and Id like to know if there is no other way around about this weird connection between ring volume level and notification volume level. Its at least a PIA!

Hi,
This connection became permanent with ICS.
Try "Volume Control" from the market.
It looks like it has sliders for each control.

There are Volume control and Volume control + in the market, both paid and free, but the issue remains the same: even if there separate sliders for ringtone and notifications, they move in the same time and there is no way to set them independently. Thanks for your answer.

Silent icon still shows even when its on vibrate

I just flashed ARHD 6.7.0 yesterday & when I put my phone on vibrate mode, the silent mode icon is shown on my status bar instead of the vibrate one. What should I do?

HTC E8 Custom lockscreens!!

Hi,
I'm using HTC E8 M8sd india version.
whenever I use any custom lockscreen like CM Locker, NEXT etc, my incoming call screen changes to simple touch buttons rather than slide buttons.
this is really frustrating as it results in accidental touches while the phone is in the pocket and someone calls.
any solutions or any good custom incoming caller screens??
