I have been using apex launcher since I rooted just because I like the vanilla look but don't want to stray from the stock ics sense 3.6 rom. One thing that kills me though is not being able to use my HTC widgets and apex launcher. Is there a fix to work around it?

Nope sense widgets are locked to the sense launcher.

Sense widgets can only be called from sense launcher, that sense 4 clock is I think a themed one to look like sense 4
Would it be possible to theme the other widgets?

Would it be possible yes, but most likely nobody would.
Well I'll try to take it into my own hands. I wanted to see if it's been done already before trying. Thanks really appreciate it

For workaround the sense calendar you can search the play store for "apw"(android power widgets). I have the free version.
Using apex, I resized it to an entire screen size.
There's a lot more widgets that comes with it but I haven't checked if it has messages widget.
Mic check 1 two one 2.
Had some time to spare so I checked for you. Messages widget that they offer.

Finally the 4x1 Flip Clock Widget is available for us to use on our Sensation! Some people on the forum have made it possible to use the 4x1 clock widget, there are a few ways to try to install it.
EDIT:
A fully working version can be found here!

Agile Lock
Sent from my HTC Desire S using xda premium
what do you want?
To use as a lock screen, I like the fact that I can access apps straight from lockscreen
I need the official old lock screen were used on 2.3.3
Can only get 3rd party apps
best app is widget locker, it's 3.0 skin is almost dead on. Agile lock is no longer being made.

You say you want to access apps from the home screen...
CM7 already has this feature implemented in a way. You can toggle gestures to launch directly to applications you have assigned.
On CM is also similar lock screen implemented, no need to install another lock screens. I'm only missing messages and missed calls information style from Sense lock screen.

That doesn't look like a stock rom... more like ICS? Or stock with a ICS theme. Be a little more clear on what you're asking.

Ok sorry. I will explain.
Sometimes when I press an icon when on the home-screen, it will NOT open. It will just light up (the animation) but won't open the app itself. This happened a lot. It's annoying, since I will have to click the icon again to open the app.
Okay lol, I've seen that before but on old devices such as a G1 and MyTouch 3g, but that was lag and poor software lol, is it the custom launcher or on all?

Thx
I actually don't know if it happens on stock launcher as well. I am using ADW. I will have to check....
It happens to me on go launcher ex sometimes when I try to open the app drawer.

Yes, you can. I flash one on my N-1 from time to time.
Guess some people would like to have it on the Infuse.
The last time someone asked I believe this was their answer.

Ok, I have to ask...
I don't care too much about Sense, but my friend has an HTC phone, and there is a really nice default Analog Clock widget that's in it...
I really want that widget, but cannot, for the life of me, find anything like it.
Anyone know where to get it?

Can't get it with out sense...that's what everyone loves about sense...the widgets...if you switch launchers on an HTC you can't use the htc widgets...the widgets rely on Rosie (sense launcher) and Rosie relies heavily on sense frameworks...so in a way the widgets rely on sense frameworks...so unless your using a sense port then no sense widgets

There is a Sense Analog Clock Widget on Play that is not exact but similar...guess you saw it already ?

Yeah, I've seen that. The Sense style in that aspect has been emulated in just about every popular clock widget app I've seen...
When I say "analog" clock, I mean the cool style with the moving hands and all.
These ones:

Yes, indeed the ics & jb keyboards (Latin IME) are very clumsy to use. I have found resort in SwiftKey 3 Keyboard. It's just brilliant !!
Trust me on this. It actually predicts out your words, what you are gonna type next.
I have friend's who are no more using sense 3.5 's stock keyboard anymore for the SwiftKey 3. another friend of mine, too uses it replacing ics stock keyboard (he owns Sony Xperia U).
Use the search option in xda. I read it once, there's a HTC keyboard app being developed. It might work.

I tried the Sense 4 keyboard once with CM9; but it FC'ed as soon as it opened. Settings opened fine.
It's already ported check out the wildfire s themes and apps section
Plus you even have sense 4 option in that keyboard so you have both sense 3 and 4 keyboards

hey the swiftkey 3 keyboard is awesome but i dont use it coz it takes up more ram than the stock one. i was using cm9 build#11 before and this keyboard it was flawless but when i started some games i faced lags dunno if it was due to insuffient ram or coz i had updated the game and the update was not stable. anyway i wanted to know was it due to swiftkey 3 or some other issue. thanks in advance!
Even i use SwiftKey 3. Nd, occasionally i play Dead Trigger. Nd, never i got hangs or lags.
Use Advanced Task Killer to kill apps excessively running & consuming ram space. Or, use Mobile Care by iobit. It has a Game Speeder feature.
