[ROM] JBoogie3 LiquidArc Gingerbread

Thanks to Jboogie3 for his work,
Its finally here! LiquidArc Gingerbread version
This rom is based off cm7 by quarax. So complete props to him and the rest that have help making it possible. Instead of making this an update.zip, this will be an nandroid backup.

Some says they cannot install it.
NOTE :: you have to use NORDIC as base like you were using in CM7 and then restore the nandroid.
Some people are also having problems with GPS :: for GPS fix refer CM7 FAQ and its solutions.
for video playback :: Jboogie says, This is based on RC1. Only problem is mp4 playback is jumpy at times. Other than that, for me everything runs perfectly

I have talked with jboogie, and i have done exactly what he has told me to do...now if you wish the thread to be removed then please dont use this thread just have a local copy of the thread on your computer ... this is the first time ever people are asking to remove the thread with a rom, that too on open source software.
PS:: Jboogie asked to remove the links which i have already done

Make sure you have a custom recovery
Wipe everything except for /mnt/sdcard
Run the zip from the recovery
follow the steps on-screen

For people who have unlocked their bootloader at htcdev.com:
make sure you have a folder with ADB, and the kernel from the zip ready in it.
From recovery: adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot reboot
And because the first boot takes very long:

How we update our ROM.
For the new users:
- You can download every version from our website
For exising users:
- Update OTA
- for every 0.0.x update, you do not download the whole ROM again, but small flashable zips
- every x.x.0 update will come as a complete rom with full wipe.
- of course, every update will come up on the website.
Please note:
We made some sloppy mistakes with the v1.4 update (we wanted to update too quickly hehe)
- aroma still gives v1.3.1
- we havent included the UpdateMe.apk in our ROM which makes it OTA-compatible. Download it HERE

Where is the 3D Rosie? I selected it on aroma install and its not there. Menu button not working as well. Rest is ok I guess.

I must say, one of the slickest ROM installs ever. Well done on that part!
EDIT:
No sound on Inspire
Others have remapped the menu key so it actually works on Desire/Inspire
Maybe other stuff, but since sound isn't working..bailed.

Recent apps is aosp not sense.

Remember to flash boot.img using fastboot

Instructions​
Perform a full WIPE
Flash ROM, as usual using recovery.
Flash kernel with Fastboot
Make sure your Ville is unlocked and you have a recovery installed
Downloads​
Make sure you do a full wipe (aka "wipe data/factory reset" in recovery) before flashing this!!!
Please note that the ROM needs to settle down after the flash so give it at least 10 minutes after booting to reach the normal speed and smoothness!!!
I run this rom for several weeks without any problems, but i might have missed something! Please tell us on bugtracker if something's wrong, AFTER A WIPE!!

1) Build is written on the 4th screenshot (1.14.709.16 for Ville+ (OneSSE)).
2) There's no radio included, it's only a rom.
3) As written on the post, if link doesnt work, try another. Some mirrors are probably not synced yet.

But... can you remove the power saver notification? That would really get on my nerves.

hey Troby ive seen 2 other threads about this same rom....one was posted back in Nov and one was created yesterday or a few days ago, based on what you have said in the OP it sounds like this is a ROM that you will be keeping up with just curious because it seems the others are not moving at all and the one posted yesterday or so is very vauge in the OP also is this ICS or Jelly?

It's based from CyanogenMod 10, 4.1.2, Jellybean. I will be keeping up with the official X-UI, as well as adding my own stuff to the ROM. Thanks.

anyone having issues getting the rom to download on PC ?

This is indeed a very light ROM (300 mb free ram after first boot) and it's fast and resposiv. But there are still some Chinese text here and there, even after i choose English language (UK). Godt FC a few places in Settings and Developer option and Performance.
But best off all is the cool new features and new approaches to different things, eg. the secnond screen in Notifications.
The very light theme is a matter of taste, but it'sis certainly not like the inverted gapps.
I think it's still to early to be used as a day-to-day Rom, but absolutely has potential!

Why don't you just help MIUI's team instead of making the same rom?

Sense 4.0a was based on ICS that is why sense 4.0a ROM is ICS.
There are many differences in ICS and jellybean. Search for it online.
Apart from just the clear recent apps menu... ( I think you mean that instead of app drawer)
Task manager : I don't use any task manager as running the task manager itself uses a lot of RAM. Try using es task manager. It is also a good choice

If you want to you can try jelly bean ROMs. All of them have that feature... I also wanted that feature. Its not an AOSP feature as in my nexus 7 which is running the stock official 4.2.2 the feature is ABSENT. See

So I think it is a cyanogenmod feature. Try asking on the dev thread maybe sak India 123 will reply to you there properly.

If you mean the one cute_prince posted on the sense 4.0a thread then ... no. You will have to flash the one by sakindia123 or you will find a new one in the evervolv jb thread by galaxy freak.. that must work with deroid xperia.. or ask the dev first in the development section about the kernel. Maybe he will answer you..
