[Q] Each time I reboot my phone - HTC Desire S

My phone is the Desire S. I install the new rom "Endymion 3.5", every thing is OK. But each time I reboot the phone, there is always show me the "tell htc" msg:
This phone has just recovered from an abnormal reset. Would you like to tell HTC?
Why? What's wrong with the rom?

It is normal, disable tell htc in settings

i never knew that was there! i feel fumb... do we input the imei or the serial number with letters and numbers?
My phone froze in fastboot and said there was a communication error .
Frikkin wonderfull! LeeDrOiD has S-Off
The program hangs when “waiting for the system to settle.” -OR- the program says “Communications with phone unexpectedly interrupted.”
Uninstall any programs that may connect to the phone over USB and automatically sync. Specifically, we have had interference from HTC Sync and Doubletwist in the past; other programs may also cause trouble. Try reinstalling the drivers, if all else fails (or use Linux, which has a 99% less sucky USB stack).

"Tell HTC" crash report after every boot (S-OFF)

Hi..
I got my phone S-OFF'ed as soon as Revolutionary was out, had some minor problems, but a couple of reboots on pc/phone sorted that out.
Now, every ROM that I try (also stock) comes up with "Tell HTC by the latest crash report" (or something like that, I have danish locale on it) everytime I boot up the phone.
Well, now I disabled it, but I kindda thought that it shouldn't be necessary to disable it..
Anyone else have this problem, or anyone who can tell me what to do? Should I just ignore it?
I have this each time I go to ClockWork Recovery a make a backup of my ROM, normal reboot (whether full or the fast one) doesn't have this issue
Go delete HTC Reporter (or something like that) with Titanium Backup.

CWM recovery probably reboots or does something else in a manor that doesn't comply with HTC's typical way of doing it. It may be simply writing a temp file to say "I shut down properly and didn't crash."
CWM isn't doing it. More importantly. It doesn't matter. Remove the HTC crap. The likelihood that they care about the users and not simply the stats is little to none.

Trouble downloading new update

Hey guys I'm having trouble downloading the update (I know, shocking... who would want the update my issue is is that I first tried to download the update when my battery was below 35%. It said that there was an update available but I had to wait until I battery was above 35%. now that it is above 35%, when I click on the check for updates button, literally nothing happens. no dialogue no confirmation... nothing. I've already rebooted the phone and tried to clear the cache for the updater app. any suggestions? I know for Motorola phones there is a way to install the updates manually... anything like that for HTC? I'm not rooted or unlocked.

Set your date ahead 2 days and try again.
Why do you want the update. Honestly there's no reason to want it. YAY you lose root and probably can't get it again and furthermore you can get all the features the update gives in a rom.

Actually, as long as you were rooted and unlocked before, you're fine.

So I set the date forward 2 days, it discusses the update, then I got a dialog with a spinning circle saying "verifying update" with an "ok" button. I clicked the button and the dialog disappeared. Now I can't get it to reappear or download the update again. I keep setting the date forward two days and it says there's an update available but it never downloads.

So they can make threads asking how to root because they "made a mistake" and upgraded.

I wouldn't recommend updating yet. I was having a hell of a time getting TWRP to work properly to the point of destroying my sdcard forcing me to RUU back to stock. Until a Recovery fix or Root for 2.20 is found I wouldn't update.

Sometimes (randomly) my Sensation 4g just blacksout but hardware keys like home, menu, back are active and I can unlock the phone and if I have security code I can enter it. But it doesnt show any picture only. Its just black, but the touch is active. So if I can i can dial or write but dont see anything. It happens randomly and then after some time it randomly turns on normal and its ok So any ideas ?>
Have you tried flashing other ROM and see if problem still persists?

[Q] Huge problem with my HTC Sensation.

Hi.
I'm trying to find a solution of my Sensation problem for 3 days and i'm asking you guys what can i do with it.
I bought a Sensation and it run perfectly for a week, than startet to reboot and etc. Mostly it happens when i use WiFi or camera, it turns off and won't start again, i need to remove battery for 5 minutes and then it starts normally. I tried factory reset but didn't helped. Also when i remove battery and put it again and turn on it turns this screen with all info and options like Boot, factory reset etc without pushing vol+pwr buttons.
How can i remove this problem from my HTC? Installing new rom or something? Please help me if someone can.
Sorry for my englisch.

I don't think this problem is related to other roms... My sister had a clean HTC Sensation 4G, and got the same problem! I've been using cyanogen mod and got the same problem. It's FREAKING annoying, because we can't do anything... Every time you try to do something : BOOM phone crash and won't open again...

I would suggest jnstaling the RUU for that model and carrier. I had a sensation 4g from when it came out, I bought it from tmo us and I did notice that if your battery is bad or near the end of its usable life it can cause the phone to turn off when taking pics xause this did happen to me very often. Unless you are willing to buy a replacement brand new HTC battery

Exacly ! But right now with android 4.4.2, the batterie looks more stable
