Boot Animation re:Ivysaur Rom v2.0.0 - General Questions and Answers

I am now running the Ivysaur sense 4.0 Rom which has been fantastic thus far and would like the use the Rezound Bios boot animation I have used previously, I was wondering what the process would be to use this or any other boot animation in lieu of the HTC One boot that is currently on it. If anyone could help me out on this that would be fantastic, I have done a few searches etc and can't seem to figure it out.
Thanks!

The Kernel you are running must support changing or flashing BootAnimation. Then get the zip files and flash the bootAnimation.

deck evo4g ICS Alpha4 boot.img Boot Manager

I have used Boot Manager for quite a while now and while the Boot Manager dev explains that most ICS ROMs will not work with it, Deck's EVO 4g ICS mod did work in Boot Manager with the pre-releases, alpha1, and alpha2 . I never got to try alpha3 but alpha4 does not work with boot manager anymore. What changed that prevents a proper boot.img being built on alpha4? Is there something I can do or is it up to deck to decide if he wants to make alpha4 compatible with boot manager (as were the pre-releases and alpha1 and alpha2)?
I figured it out late last night. I reinstalled my boot image from phone ROM, restored slot1 (CM7 256) with boot image, re-installed slot 2 (alpha4) with newly built boot image and all is well. Guess I jacked it up at some point .... good thing for back-ups eh

MY Stuck Rezound after NeWts install...HELP

I bought a rooted rezound from a guy which had the ICS clean rom root. I wanted to resore it back to factory specs but then seen the NeWts-One-XXX which had the sense 4.0 with along with ICS 4.0.3. I installed the .zip file which it said was installed complete but now my phone wont boot past the htc ONE main logo. Can someone please help me.
Boot into recovery and reflash the Kernel. It is possible you flashed only the rom but not the new kernel that goes along with it.

[Q] Generic boot animation after updated TrickDroid?

So, I have updated my TWRP to 2.2.1 and decided to update TrickDroid to the latest 6.2.0 version (T-Mobile). After doing a full wipe, I installed and I noticed that when booting up, my phone has a normal, generic android boot animation. I tried using the tweaks package to change it, but only the shutdown animation changed, and the boot animation is still the "android" logo animation. I tried ref lashing, reinstalling TWRP, flashing the kernel separately and still nothing. Any ideas/help?

It would be better to ask this in Trickdroid's support thread. You could always manually replace the .zip file.
I had very little luck using the Tweaks package. Very few of the changes I made stuck. I couldn't get *any* of the inverted apps to work. I just ended up using the ROM without any tweaks because it has such great battery life.
On only had this problem using twrp. No problems with latest cwm. Checked it 2 times!

Which version of TWRP were you using?
EDIT:
I tried with the latest cwm recovery, still the same. I find it really weird that when I tried flashing MIUI, the boot animation was there...It's only trickdroid :\
find the boot animation you want and move to \system\media and reboot and it will work

i have tried this on pac running on system 1 worked perfectly but i don't multi-boot so can't say about system 3
Animation caused a bootloop on my system 3, not sure why the flashable zip flashed system framework, but it didn't help. I originally tried just pulling the bootanimation from the zip and pushing it to system/media which made it show fine on boot but resulted in a bootloop. Flashed the flashable zip to see if it would fix it, but the bootloop persisted. Ended up reflashing the rom to get booted again.

[Q] Help!! Boot Screen Only After Flashing Any Rom On HTC One M7

I have a AT&T HTC One M7 that is unlocked, rooted with S-Off. Every Rom I have tried installs but when rebooting always stops at the HTC white screen or animation at startup for that rom. I have searched and tried everything but nothing works. Most roms need to have a kernel flashed but the Android Revolution HD has this in the roms zip file and even tried to extract it and then flash it in fastboot. Any ideas anybody? If I left anything out let me know and I will post it. Thanks for any help out there.
