[Q] Samsung Dart and AT&T - General Questions and Answers

I've been looking around and I haven't been able to find a definite answer on whether or not unlocking a Samsung Dart and using it with an AT&T sim card would charge a data plan. I'm not exactly an expert in this department so please help me out.

[Q] Verizon Galaxy S3 - Steps to unlock, root, and flash

While I'm not new to rooting and flashing ROMs, I'm new to Samsung... I've done some research, but have had little luck fully understanding the steps to gain root on my S3. I've seen mskip's toolkit, but couldn't get it to work. I would appreciate someone's help for a Samsung noob.:silly:

Unlocking the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 I535
Greetings, I am new to this site and forum and I am looking for some information on unlocking 2 Verizon Galaxy S3 I535 phones that I bought recently. My wife and I are Straight Talk subscribers and we participated in their bring your own phone program where we could transfer any phone to their service. A friend of mine is a Verizon customer and he bought 2 new Galaxy S3 I535 phones and the bills got so high that he dropped these phones and bought standard phones to help reduce his bills, I contacted Straight Talk and they confirmed that these S3 phones could be used. We bought AT&T SIM cards and the phones can call and receive calls as well as texts but the media is not working. None of the apps work and it will not connect to the internet unless we are signed into a wireless network at home or at a restaurant or similar. I have contacted 2 web sites fir assistance with unlocking the phones by giving them the IEMI number and both companies said they could not generate an unlock code for me. So, my main question is how can I unlock these phones so that I can get my apps working without being connected to a wireless network? Are there any companies that I could send these phones to where they could unlock them and send them back to me? I do not have much experience with configuring cell phones and I would prefer that a professional unlock these phones as I am not sure I could do it unless the instructions were easy to follow. Any information would be most appreciated!

[Completed] [Q] Verizon Galaxy S3 off contract to Straight Talk serious questions

My contract with my S3 is about to end in a few days, and I'm going to switch to Straight Talk since they now provide Verizon LTE sims. I wanted to know if Verizon would unlock the APN settings once it's over since they're blacked out, or if someone could point me to the correct forum to gain the ability to change this. My phone is rooted but I really really don't want to download a bunch of apps and add/change codes, download roms ect. The other question is do I need an unlock code from them even though I'm staying on their towers, or do I only need to worry about the APN? Maybe let me know what other problems I could possibly run into during the process. I want as much information and help here as I can get without talking to a person from either company. I already called Straight Talk, and they told me to call Verizon for some instruction on moving my phone else wear. I think, though, the only thing Verizon will do for me is unlock the phone and I'm worried they might not even do that for whatever reason. All I ask is for this not to be difficult.

Straight Talk Samsung Galaxy S6 4G LTE (S907VL) Carrier lock?

There is a lot of info about the Samsung Galaxy S6 for other carriers but not so much for the Straight Talk Samsung Galaxy S6 (S907VL).
I'm interested in buying this phone but I'm not sure whether this device is carried locked and if so whether it's easy to unlock.
Besides that, does anyone know whether this phone supports overseas GSM bands?
Lastly I would like to know more about what kind of ROMs are flashable on this phone.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
straight talk phones are sim locked and ST will not unlock them
I just picked this one up a couple days ago and so far I love it, but I've had no luck finding any info about this model (SM-S907VL) I'm mostly looking for root and maybe a custom recovery but I'm at a bit of a lose here
As far as the Sim unlock goes, I thought ST would only allow unlocks after a year of active service, but maybe but don't hold me to that
Need root and ability to use a rom that is upgraded to android 7

HELP! Verizon SIM in 930P.

Hey everyone. Sorry for the noob and the redundant question. I've combed through all of the 930P forums for an answer and my head is spinning in circles. Let's cut to it...
I have an unlocked S7 from sprint. My son has used it for about a year as a tablet using wifi. It has never been activated through sprint. I am a verizon customer and want to get a verizon SIM working with it so he can have a fully functional phone. I've read at least a dozen different threads on what to do, but don't want to brick the it. It shows 'Invalid SIM card' message when I put the verizon SIM card in it and the phone does not have any of the Samsung bloatware on it. Can anyone help or point me in a good direction, or would it be easier to sell it and find a Verizon variant? Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED! I have a 7 year old who is BUGGING me about his phone.
