Guys, anyone can teach me how to add HTC reader library. I tried to add .epub to e-book, books or digital editions folder but none of that adds my library. Did i got the wrong ebook format or what?
Nobody love me
I most likely will be the format cos I tried it too and it didn't work
I just left it and installed other better ebook readers like Aldiko, Kindle etc
Cheers

I can confirm that epub books work fine with the native HTC reader. I have many books in epub format that are on the folder sdcard/personal/books and it shows up just fine in the HTC reader app. I am on Endymion sense 3.5
Yesterday, when I flashed the new sense 3.5 ROM by xxxpachaxxx HTC reader automatically scanned these books and added them to its library... So its not a problem with sense 3.5
Will add screenshots to illustrate..

Probably fixed the problem!
Okay here's the deal for some alien reason HTC reader doesn't exactly scan the epub files properly BUT when u already have the epub files before flashing any ROM the reader scans and adds all those files to its library....
So back to the fix
All you gotta do is flash your custom ROM again without wiping anything and BAM!!!!! your problem is fixed with all your data intact...none lost!! and you have the pleasure of viewing your epub's in HTC reader!
I suggest you do this for bulk books...doing this for a single book would be a waste of time..(look @ Mr all going philosophical. )

Ok guys, i'm gonna try to add my library again.
@enigmaamit: Do you add it before or after flashing?
Forgot to mention...files have to be added before flashing....
EDIT:flashing once isore than enough....coz if it starts importing books once than u can just copy the books to your sd card from then on...it'll import on its own...no need of flashing again and again...

Hello all!
I have been lucky enough to finally get my Nexus One. Although my purchasing process was riddled with issues and lacked any support. I got the phone and it seems to be free of defects, and I am loving it even more than I thought I would.
I am moving from a Windows Mobile phone (FINALLY), and I had an app called Newsbreak which I used all the time. It would basically download all my feeds for offline viewing/listening including audio/video podcasts, and use the SD card for storage.
I have been looking for an equivalent on android and I appear to be left wanting. Most RSS reader appear to be online only, don't seem to support downloading podcasts, or requires Google Reader (sorry not wanting to give my Google Account password).
Does anyone know of a good offline RSS reader?
I have tried Newsrob (needs Google Reader), Listen (no offline?) and I am currently reviewing BlueRSS. I like BlueRSS, but I see no option to store on the SD card nor how to download the podcast or website for offline viewing. Since BlueRSS says it does this, I am not sure if I am missing something or it is just not able to do what I require.
If I need to I will design my own, but this is the only thing keeping me from using the N1 full time.
Thanks!
Check out Doggcatcher (no idea why they chose that name). Here's the feature list:
http://www.snoggdoggler.com/FeatureOverview
BeyondPod is a good solution as well. I use it for audio/video.
You can't beat Newsrob for RSS integration with GReader though. You can just create a new google account and export all your feeds and than use that exclusively for Newsrob.

DoggCatcher looks like ti will work and I will check out BeyondPod. I did not find these before since they appear to be paid apps, and I just moved my SIM over so it was hiding them from me before.
Wish there was a free one though. Maybe that will be my first Andriod project.
I really don't like Google Reader. Its convenient, but giving my login information to an app is just not safe. If there was a Google one I might try it, but they seems to want to force people to be online. Why use bandwidth so irresponsibly? Just don't make sense.
Thanks all!

Known issue that may or may not be fixed with the next TnT update. You can try to make it better by putting a empty file named .nomedia into the folder where your stuff that vanishes is located. I haven't tried it but it may help. I don't remember if your music player will be able to see the files anymore though. May have to look in a file explorer to see them.

There are lots of issues with TnT 4.0.. Roebeet recently pulled it because of them. Your issue could be from the dataloop thing in TnT 4 or something else. I would recommend clearing data, and flashing back to TnT 3.1

I believe 4 was based off of this unofficial update
Don't know if any have tried it, but it works on cm7. You can't search for other artists (apparently, when google found out about the leak, they shut down the servers..(for both down load and streaming).
But the app by itself is nifty enough to make me want to use it instead if the native music app. It has a nice iphone-like flow-search (or whatever that's called).
Check out my screen shots below. I dont have much music on my phone now (so no cracks about the sound of music track I have in there), but you can get an ideas of what it looks like.
I would upload it for you guys, but I don't know where it is on my phone. I installed it, and then opened it immediately. When I tried looking around on the SDcard, I couldn't find it anywhere.
But just search here in xda under "honeycomb music app leaked" or similar.
Edit : I don't think it works in Froyo.
Edit: anyone know why these screen shots are blurry? they look fine in my gallery....??? [when I try to upload them to this thread, tapatalk takes over--(which I presume is the xda app), so I think something is getting screwed up st that point.. And I am not near a working computer at the moment

Then how come its not used in any roms? Or at least more frequently used. I have been playing with it for 2 days, and it is a fast nicer music app them the old one.
How long ago was this originally leaked? From everything I have read (which could be wrong I guess), this music app is for honeycomb and is going to be part of google's anticipated entry into music to compete with the iPhone/iPod. It can't be that old.

it works on stock MT4G
Much more smooth, and faster...feels much more polished than previous builds.

Try wiping its data through the application settings and retry.
Maybe a silly question but is this worth installing outside the US? That is, is the player worth installing as a standalone bearing in mind I couldn't use the Google Music service?

Under Settings, have you selected a Google account to bind to Music?
The ugliest music player ever.
It's cool to try out, nothing compelling about it. No Equalizer, but playlist functions are nice. I'm sure it'll get better when it officially comes out.
Thanks for the info! But not working on my Phone!
Hm, i don't like this Player.
Meh. Still ugly. The original froyo aosp player was better and simpler. HTC Music player is also better.
what theme is that?
Thanx
Thanx my friend!!!! Works fine on my Sensation!!!
oh.. why can't used beats audio.........
Hmm weird. Phone says cannot open file. I downloaded via QR code over wifi, so I'm kinda boggled.
Ok after installing Music from my phone, I can install this. However, I get this message:
What is that "SJ" there for?

Hello,
I switched from an iPhone and would never switch back, but I was shocked that the stock email app could not zoom out to view a whole HTML mail. First I thought it is a problem with my phone, but google shows me that this is on all phones. I tried kaiten mail, but it has the same problem and additionally an ugly UI. What do you use for your mail?
I use cyanogenmod 10 and it has the Apollo music player instead of the stock one, is it better than the stock or would you recommend the stock one, I assume play music it is called.
Thanks

have you tried this one? I use stock gmail app but in changelog their say about pinch to zoom options, and it has a lot of positive comments
Thanks but sadly the same result, I can zoom in but not out to see the whole message, the same also in kaiten, the paid successor of k9.
Any other hint?
Thanks

Maybe you should wait for contribution from Sparrow team in stock Gmail app I suppose the stock app will change in near future.
