Hi.
I need to send my galaxy s 4g back to tmobile, but first i need a PIT file. I already tried to flash it with the stock KD1 from the galaxy s 4g bible, but it got bricked because I didn't have a PIT file. can anyone please help me get the PIT file asap??? because I need to send it back.
Thanks.
Here you go kc1 clean up file with pit http://sourceforge.net/projects/kc1cleanup/files/hawk.zip/download after you flash this just Odin kd1 to be fully stock.

Search for the gb starter pack. Download the kc1 bootloaders. Odin both files. Once that is complete, Odin kd1 by whitehawk.
another route is to Odin kj6 stock.

OP, did you fix your problem? if tmobile is sending you replacement phone, then you still have a week to fix this.
Learning curve goes way up when you have 2 phones to work with

From a badic perzpective, KD1 is Froyo. KJ6 is Gingerbread. KJ6 is the latest release. Better performance, a bit weaker wifi, better battery life.

Unbricked me! Took several tries with Odin, but thats just Odin lol
Cheers!
That's the message I get after flashing stock. I'm flashing the ep4 that's rooted with kernal and recovery. I've downloaded ep4 complete stock (the 548mb download) atleast 20 times (without unlimited internet lol) and I get a bad hash value with that. When I flash the ep4 rooted rom, it boots into Android system recovery and gives me "1fs done open fail"...I've searched and haven't exactly found a solution. Can anyone help?
Sorry for the scrambled explanation, I just woke up after a long night of trying to fix this

Try to follow this direction and use EE4 image if EP4 doesn't work. If you have to use EE4 then let it upgrade to Ep4 through OTA, then Odin what ever EP4D combo you like.
http://www.imnuts.org/odin-packages/
OK did that. But it says my phone is up to date, so how would I get ep4?

Make sure you upgrade to FP1 first before you flash Eclipse 2.0

To get Odin and the Pit File refer to KOnane's thread on how to flash back to stock.

If this helps you in anyway just hit the thanks button. I will answer all the questions I can.

Check your imei to check and see it's not borked that causes issues with kies. Also try uninstalling and reinstalling kies sometimes it has problems after using Odin.

If helped don't be afraid to hit the thanks button it doesn't bite lol

You flashed the GB kernel. I assume you odin'd k0nane's kernel. That's not for ics. Reflash the ICS tar and read the 'how to root ICS thread'.

If you have an AT&T branded phone, you'll need to flash the FXZ in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1961310
For any other Atrix 2, you'll need to look here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1934874
If you don't know how to flash an FXZ, read this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1909319
As well as JRW 28's beginner's guide linked in the op of that ^ thread.
It is extremely important that you have the correct FXZ for your phone's model. Also thoroughly read up on what you are attempting to do to your phone to avoid (as much as possible) these types of issues.
Brought to you by time and relative dimensions in space.
Thanks a ton...let the flashing begin
