Hi there,
I've a Infuse with Zeus 6. The 3G Internet speed on phone: web browsing, map, google play,... is pretty slow. But if I using Hotspot feature and connect from my laptop, speed is great. Did I mess something on phone configure?
TIA,
giobuon.

I've had one of these for a while now and mostly it works a treat. I'm having problems surfing the web on it though.
I can connect to the internet using Virgin's setup for 'GPRS/3G' (HSDPA), and it transfers data ok, cos that's the only way it can feed the GPS software that needs it. The browser works too, when I connect to the internet in a wifi hotspot. But when I use the browser otherwise it makes the HSDPA connection ok, which shows up as connected, but no web page loads. I even tried it in Opera, nothing happens. Any ideas gratefully appreciated.
On the TP2, if WiFi is enabled and a signal is found / accessed, will Opera automatically use the WiFi connection? I did this, and found the speed to be slow . . no different than 3G in loading pages, etc. I expected the connection to move just like one I get on my laptop.
Well, it's not going to be quite that fast. With higher speed connections, the bottleneck would be in the phone's processor, rendering the pages. I know my phone is pretty speedy, but it's nowhere near my desktop.
You're correct that you won't see the same speeds on your phone as you will on your desktop/laptop. Try tethering it with your computer and you'll see how fast your connection really is (as long as you're in a good coverage area, that is).
Hello everyone,
I noticed that my 4G speeds are barely fast enough to play games online, but they manage, since it's all I have access to =( poor me. Anyway, when applications on my phone try to access the internet (google play etc.) while I'm using my hotspot, I immediately notice lag. I was just wondering if anyone knows a way to dedicate all of the bandwidth of my phone to the hotspot. Any help would be thanks.
Hey guys, I've searched and seen similar questions asked with no clear answer. I live in an area where my the internet speed is extremely slow. My mobile data is much faster and allows me to stream videos, music etc. However, in order to connect with all of my other devices on my home wifi network (chromecast, roku etc.), I'm forced to use the terrible wifi internet speed instead of my mobile data. Is there any way around this? Apps, hacks etc?
You could possibly try a teathering app. That might work. I Hope This Helped in any way.

My home Internet is extremely slow and the only carrier available in my area. It's too slow to use any streaming services
How about Wi-Fi router with sim card support?
Hi,
Im just having a super weird issue with chrome on my u11!
When I'm connected to 2.4ghz Wi-Fi, internet works including gmail but only chrome and speedtest.net app doesn't. Browsing always shoes as offline mode.
If i switch to Mobile data or 5Ghz Wi-Fi, it all works.
Many other mobile phones will connect and browse successfully on my 2.4Ghz range without issue.
Any thoughts on this strange one?
Thanks in advance.
