How to change the preferred network type

Anyone have idea how to change it? I have tried to change through the phone info or even through the servicemode, but it's still stick on GSM/WCDMA auto (PRL). I want to change it to GSM only but no succeed
anyone can help

I did the 4636 thing and it work for me

hmm.. so why it doesn't work for me
what did u do after you set you preferred network?

I had the same problem while I was on stock AT&T 01.77.15P radio but ever since I "upgraded" to 1.8.7 (HSUPA hack) I can now switch network types and they stick.
However I'm attaining much lower speeds with such "hack".
I've been playing around with network types but so far I've seen no difference in speed.

HTC Inspire 4g unlocked, but mobile internet doesn't work

hi, everyone i have an htc inspire 4g unlocked, but i can't connect to the mobile internet. i would like some help to configure it.

i forgot , now i a'm with another carrier operator calls and text messg work fine, the only problem i have is when i try to conect to internet.

Have you checked the apn settings?

That's what I recommended they do in the PM they sent me. I also "warned" them that they'd be stuck w/ Edge speeds.

APN problems? Cant access Internet... help...

i have a problem.
I can't access my internet.
I am Brazilian and i use TIM.
I bought an AT&T Unlocked Phone all it's ok, but the internet.
I called TIM and they told me they could not help to config the APN, and i can't understand it as they sell Atrix 2 here...
But ok...
I saw there is no APN configured.
And in the notification bar i have a 4g icon .
I try to enable the Data Transfer, but i can't access network connection...
please, guys, tell me i can find a solution.....help me to get my facebook again... my emails working.... please...

straight talk apn for Atrix 2 please!
rd, I have had straight talk for 2 months now and have not been able to get data. I also have an Atrix 2 and have been looking for the answer just about everywhere. I have tried different values on apn settings with no luck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks,

Mobile Network State Disconnected

Hi guys, I have problem with my network connection also my 3g does not work anymore, I was playing with my phone with some secret codes like a ##72786# on my epic 4g touch sprint phone flashed to metro pcs and now I have no 3G service. In the setting menu under network status say Sprint. How can I get my 3g back?. The mobile net. 3G is on and the wifi is off. I need to change the network to metro pcs in the status setting and how can do that? Thanks for your help and sorry for my bad English.
Running ICS OS.

Can you re register your network by scanning network operators? If not you will need to Google APN settings for your network.

Secret...remember I have sprint samsung epic 4g touch flashed to metro pcs with ICS o.s. . I mean that only has in networks setting, "3G data". Do you know any program for change my network from Sprint to Metro Pcs? Thanks for your help.

T-Mobile APN settings for an unlock AT&T LG G2

hi, i have recently received a lg g2 from at&t. i am trying to use it with tmobile and i can't get high speed data to work. I was wondering if anyone know the proper apn settings to manually input into the phone. thanks in advance.

Even if you put the settings manually it does not work, I had lg g2 from at&t for 2 days and it never got speeds of more then 2g with tmobile SIM card in it and manual settings.

after I used up the data limit on my t mobile 4g, does it automatically default to 2g speeds or do I need to set up another apn for the 2g?

It will slow you to 2g on their end, you dont need to change anything

ok, got it.

When I had my previous att phone which i unlocked and put on a t-mobile prepaid sim, I could swear it changed the boot screen from ATT's to TMO's.
On this ATT G2, I still have the ATT Bootscreen. also under Mobile Networks I still have Search for ATT Microcells. I figure this is just part of the stock ATT Rom.
What I really find weird is if I to go Network Operators and do a Search Networks it will find both TMO and ATT RATs.
Are you also experiencing this? Everything seems to work fine, including the TMO visual Voicemail app, so I don't think it is really a problem.
