i know it's an option in CM7 - lockscreen timeout and delay, i think. just wondering if it could be build into the stock ROM? i know there are apps that do it as well, but they tend to give me issues.

I'm testing out a raw AOSP ROM with a few customizations (App Ops, 180 degree rotation, root, busybox) and I've noticed that the Miscellaneous bug seems to still exist in the android-5.0.0_r7 tag (lollipop-release branch). This was the closest thing I could find from Google that appeared to address it:

... but it just seems like they're hiding that entry in release builds. Could this be why it's still showing up on an AOSP compilation? And if so, how do we negate it?

I'm wondering if anyone can be of help with details & rip of the factory lockscreen APK so I can give decompilers a try & make it bindable to custom launcher targets. My plan is I'd rather have Signal & Telegram in place of Messaging & Capture+...
That or it would be cool to know what alternatives work with the scanner & smart lock features. I'm not looking to really extend the factory app, only make it tweakable.
