T-Mobile UK - Chitter Chatter now have stock

If you're a T-Mobile user waiting for the Sensation wait no more. Chitter Chatter are T-mobile upgrade partners who have the phone in stock - Mine is on it's way.
I got the phone for free after T-Mobile confirmed Chitter Chatter can give the same deal as them unlike Carphone who can't give the same offer as T-Mobile.
I was asked to pay £10 but Chitter Chatter agreed to pay the cost and offer a free gift if you upgrade via them. £30 high street voucher, Jaber bluetooth headset or a Samsung Rocky pay as you go mobile with £5 credit. Obviously the vouchers are best as the headset is availabe for £19.99 online.
T-Mobile stated they will not have the phone for at least 3 weeks.

quick question for you is the sensation unlocked or locked to tmobile?

I'd imagine they'd be SIM-free stock as T-Mobile have yet released their version of it. Probably better to get it SIM-free anyway. I would've but I won mine so didn't have a say

yeah I'm hoping its sim free as well as then I can use my voda sim when i go on holiday as it gives me a number of cheap texts to home

I got mine from Chitter Chatter on Tuesday, haven't really tried any other sim card in it, but there's definitely no bloatware from T-Mobile and there's no T-Mobile animation on start or switch off so I assume it's unbranded and unlocked one. Mine came from HTC16 series that are allegedly more reliable regarding touchscreen and with AUO screen with no pink tint or other problems. No dust under screen either.

Check the software version. If it's 1.28.401.1 it's unbranded (and the new RUU is available to download, 1.35.401.1 - you can get it from the Dev forum)

How do i check that?

Be careful buying T-mobile phones from a third party. TM only allow 3G speeds unless you buy a booster. If you buy direct, this can be included in part of the deal.
Talk to customer service and most will deny this cap exists, but it does. If you want to go over 384kbps and use HSDPA you need the internet booster.

I'm picking up hdspa speeds so no problems there. I do have the internet booster though

Unlocked and full HDSPA speeds again i have the internet booster as well. No problems with lag/touchscreen or death grip problems...so far!!!
Oh and no T-Mobile bloatware or delivery charge!!!

I threatened to cancel my service and go to sprint because I could get a evo 4g for free. I wasn't really going to cancel I just wanted the sensation. I told the rep it's cheaper for me to pay a$35 activation fee on sprint vs paying 200 for the sensation....after 15 min of phone conversation.....they are mailing me my new sensation 4g free of charge along with free shipping. . If you're looking to upgrade.. Try my method.

HTC Sensation Special

Recently I've been thinking about getting the HTC Sensation or the MyTocuch 4G Slide. I haven't had time to get to a store to check them out yet. Which do you think is better? I found a 10% T-Mobile discount online which would help too. It says "Switch to T-Mobile and also save 10% off monthly recurring charges, plus get your initial $35 activation fee waived and FREE 2 Day shipping". Has anyone heard of this before?

Do you know if this is only good for new customers?

This is for student only. If you are a college student, you may want to check if your school has an even better contract with t-mobile than this (ask your school, not t-mobile, or search your sechool webpage)
My school has 15% off, and the rest of the offers are the same. Not wanting to wait for it to ship, I printed out the offer two weeks ago and brought it to a local tmobile store. They did the price match after confirming the offer on the phone with someone else.

I was curious about that. This deal says you just have to be a member of the site studentrate for the discount, and since you don't have to be a student to be a member, I was thinking you'd still be eligible.

Mytouch sucks & Sensation is the best thing out till the Hercules/SGS2

That's correct.I got the deal and i'm not currently a student,just a studentrate member.They didn't ask for my school Id #.

I'm thinking the mytouch slide because it has a keyboard. I'm worried I'll have a tough time texting with the touch screen on the sensation.

I was using the myTouch 3G Slide and thought the same thing. I've always been weary of full touch-screen phones without a keyboard, but with the Sensation's larger screen size texting on-screen is a breeze. Go with the Sensation.

I guess I could always return in before, what is it 30 days? If I don't like it.

Can you get this same discount/deal in stores?

I used to run a Desire Z because I was leary of the lack of a keyboard on most other phones but I got the Sensation recently because I wanted a solid, one piece, device and the screen on the Sensation is big enough, though it still does take some getting used to.

I don't think so, not the same one anyway. If you click on the link I posted it says you can get it by calling that #866 number or there's a link for the T-Mobile online site

I got my Sensation thru Target online for $99...and only a $18 activation fee.
I looked the other day and it was now $119.

I've got both phones and I like the sensation better but the mytouch 4g is a good phone too. *cough* just get the sensation it has better specs ,dual core.

Yep, just an upgrade to my first smartphone.

Weird thing is i saw a BNIB Bravo Desire sell for £270 yesterday so a Sensation goes for a mere £15 more than a Desire!

Well it's a auction. So it's more luck that the people that really want that product are bidding on it.
But if I am correct you can unlock the sensation very easy

True, it's just the prices on ebay at times make no sense to me, i quite often see stuff going for within £10-20 of the shop price. My Desire was ~£280 over a year ago so £270 far too high for me

Also allot of scammers and no payers on ebay. So its not all what it seems.

Touch wood by only buying from people with 100% Positive feedback and a lot of feedback i've had no problems, but if you buy cheap sd-cards and batteries i think you're just asking for problems

Yeah got 1 £285 "only used 1 week" seems reasonable given the price i paid for a Desire ~ 1 year ago was similar

i have bought on ebay my new htc sensation for 385 euro are 3hg austria locked but the seller have rooted and unlocked for me

Next HTC Sprint phone?

Anyone know what HTC Sprint phone will be coming out next? I'm able to get an upgrade (discounted) in a few weeks, but I'm not sure it's worth going from HTC EVO 4G to the HTC EVO 3D if there's going to be another HTC Sprint phone coming out first quarter.
