Hello, I've already got my HTC EVO 4G root, now What steps do I need to follow in order to install a ROM that will allow me to use METRO PCS as my wireless provider?
Also, will flashing a ROM such as http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1385783
MetrogenMod 7.1 FOR METROPCS FLASHED EVO 4G
Will that automatically put me on Metro PCS signal/network? or Do I have to do something else?

i have a htc hero cellular south that has been flashed to cricket with working talk only.iv been trying to get internet to work for a while now ,some of you may know from all my posts.lol.well i have been able to downgrade to sprint ruu so it could be rooted.i have successfully rooted the phone.i heard if i put a cricket rom and flash it to the phone it would work.i have rooted the phone but cannot find a rom ,and dont know how to build one.any help would be appreciated .and i will donate to appropriate builder.ty
Unlocked D850 for TMO now I can't get LTE with AT&T, TMO LTE works fine. I have both AT&T and TMO sim cards . I'm running Stock KK rooted . I did upgrade to lollipop and still no LTE on AT&T, but lost root so I downgraded back to KK via LG Flash Tool.
I tried a few different APN's with no luck. IDK any help would be appreciated

Which APN's did you try??
I tried the nxtgenphone that was the default one when I put my AT&T sim in. Also tried "phone", this one I get 4g but not lte. I also found one that was either "pto" or "pta" I think it was "pta" this one I get no data at all, same with the "nxtgenphone"

I am using an unlocked Metropcs phone on AT&T but when they sent out an update it removed my ability to connect to 4g. Im now stuck with only 2g. After trying everything, they now suggest that I flash my phone to remove the update and reconnect to 4g. Does this option make sense and if so any suggestions on what firmware to use? Btw, I a total noob.

Basically I unlocked an At&t s5 900a to Metro pcs yesterday, everything seems like it's working but the phone is still on the 4.4.4 stock At&t rom, can I root / put a different rom on it being that it's originally from the At&t network / phone? If so, would I need to put a metro pcs rom on it or at&t rom? I really just want to de-bloat the at&t apps and have it rooted so i can tether it. Anyone have any insight on this?

My friend has a Verizon HTC One M8, and his phone is limited because he doesn't have a Verizon SIM (we don't live in the USA) -
meaning he can't use LTE (even though the phone's bands match the local bands), can't use mobile hotspot and he also couldn't update his phone until I found a way to update it using a PC. It's giving him lots of trouble.
I want to install CM13 on his phone, but before I flash CM I wanted to know if there's a way to install a different (international and original) HTC ROM on his phone. So he can fully use the phone without a Verizon SIM.
Is there a way to do it? Can anyone give me a link for this kind of ROM (that'll work on this phone and match my requirements)?
