Does this actually unlock your phone/ actually let me use it on other networks??? If so it's only $15 pretty good deal I say!
Yeah.
Already bought it, exactly this listing. It worked nicely. But, It took 5 days to get the code.
I`ve bought many codes from the same seller. Works perfectly. Does take about 2-3 working days.

Hi all, long time reader, first time poster.
I'm Australian and after reading all the good things about the G-Tablet on this forum went to order myself one from Ebay. Found an international shipper, everything went fine. However it has now been stuck in Australian customs over 10 days. Upon calling them i was led around a bit, but interestingly they mentioned they will not allow anything into the country with Lithium and this might be what is stopping it from getting to me. As someone who has ordered computers and phones from overseas before this sounded quite odd, as I've never encountered this problem before. Did anyone else have any experiences here? Is the tablet likely to ever get to me?
Thanks
I know this is a different product going to a different location...but I ordered a new Lenovo ThinkPad a few months back and it sat in US customs for 2 weeks. I got it...it just took forever.

Strange. I'm in Melbourne, Australia and I ordered mine off ebay. I got it 7 days after the seller said he shipped it.
Seems to me they don't know what is going on. I have ordered countless remote control heli's and planes, and spares with LiPo (lithium) batteries and never had a problem.
Maybe you need to speak to someone else at customs who knows what is going on.
I bought mine from amazon, free postage. Got my gtab less than 14 days later to Sydney.

Hey all,
Im looking at getting the TF with the dock but not sure if i should get it here in the UK or get it in US and have it shipped. The reason I'm thinking of the US is for 2 reasons:
1. Cheaper
2. Better updates (they seem to have more features?)
While I know it will be a longer wait for it to be available properly in the US, it might be worth it.
What do you guys think?
id suggest the UK. There are various problems that mean you may need to return/exchange it ....
(mine still has something rattling around inside it)
once the ROM community kicks in and the ASUS updates settle down im guessing that updates will come via custom ROMs as opposed to waiting for official ones to filter to the UK.
I bought it from this site
http://www.laskys.com/computing/laptops_and_pdas/tablets/asus_eee_pad_transformer_with_docking_station.html
Delivery is due on Tuesday.
used Laskys a few times and found them quite good (well no problems and quick delivery anyway!).
I guess you guys are right, best just get one here and be done with it.
I bought from Comet, direct from store. They only seem to have one per store so maybe worth a call first.
Mine seem fine with no issue, but only 1 day old.

Comet and laskys are essentialy the same company anyway...
got mine from laskys too..very quick delivery... I called the support hotline for a replacement because the first unit I received had serious light bleed, the support guy quickly ordered a replacement for me..(no question was asked at all)
The replacement turned up the next day (i was very surprised) and the parcelforce guy took the faulty one back...
can't complain that
the coemt and PC world here both have the tablet, but not the dock.. the guys at PCworld (suprisingly) were excellent - really knew their stuff!
I just ordered a refurbished xpal power cases online. It like $15 shipped to canada so it wasn't as bad as the $75 brand new. The ebay seller sold alot of them and had alot of feedback saying good thanks etc. What do you guys think of them? Lets say if the battery craps out is it possible to replace it myself
My friend had one....
He liked it, but he said the phone felt hot at times, which worried him. He ended up getting rid of it. I have never tried it myself. I believe they work just fine, my friend just didn't like the heat issue. That was a couple months ago though, so maybe they got that straightened out now.
Sprint no longer carries HTC. If I got one of the unlocked versions, could I get it to work on Sprint? I was really happy with it and don't want a Samsung and not sure about LG.
I'm so angry about having it stolen... all I want are my pictures! Hoping at least some of them were backed up on google...
Thanks!

I literally just purchased a Sprint Sim Unlocked one from this seller last week for $150, and I can only recommend him highly.
Phone was closer to 10/10. It looks brand new. Not even any scratches around the charging port, usually the first place to see wear even if the phone is in a case.
I converted mine to a US Unlocked CID and flashed a US Unlocked RUU to it and am using it on Tmobile, but if you are a sprint customer
you shouldn't need a Sim Unlocked version and can save $30.
I came from an HTC 10 and I am LOVING this phone, btw.
Good luck!!

Thanks guys! Well guess what? It WASN'T stolen! For some reason Find my device was showing it five towns away, but it wasn't. I had searched everywhere for it, and tried calling it to hear it ringing somewhere, but when it rang through one time, then went to voicemail the next, I figured they turned it off and checked FMD. I freaked out and spent 4 hours changing all my passwords, calling my banks, etc. Well, a week later, I was looking under my bed for one of my cats, and there it was! It must have fallen off and bounced all the way under the bed! I looked around the bed but not really under it, never thinking it would go that far. The battery died after the first call to it, which is why it went to voicemail. I'm really pissed at find my device showing erroneous info.

...and to think you coulda been using fingerprint unlock the whole time. It may cause general paranoia, I only recently adaptered it after seeing someone going into multi profiles using different fps.
However it brings a definitive quantity of security in case of just such loss

Oh ya? I have the HTC 10. It's my third one because of the terrible luck I've had with it, and this one is on its way out now. Screen is cracked pretty bad (especially around the finger print reader) and the camera app won't boot up anymore.
I was thinking of getting the LG G7, but I'm hearing some really shady things about LG phones, so I may stick with HTC and hope that I can get some quality time out of it. I think I'll grab one of those phones you got. Seems like a good deal and I really can't be bothered to spend lots of money on a phone these days. I just want something that works and has good sound quality.

I like the U11, and it is reportedly getting a pie update very soon as I see two or three posts in here in a few threads over the last 10 hours reporting Pie update just released for U11.
It takes pretty good pictures and has pretty decent speakers. Not as good pictures as some modern phones.
What I find crazy is that phones in the last year that cost as much as this used but are new (midrange so called phones) have equal hardware specs to this.
I would pass on an HTC U11 and get a new Samsung A70. Porcelain case, Base version 128 GB and 6 RAM, Android updates for 2 more years, flashy new battery, can be found for $275 slightly used.

This would make the most sense for an average user but what I love about HTC phones is their audio capabilities (headphone output and video recording). I'm almost certain that the mid range phones cut back on that stuff, cause 99% of the consumer market doesn't care about that (same way I don't care about self cameras). I think LG is the only other company that cares to put that kind of stuff in their phones, but from what I read about them they're pretty ****ty when it comes to support. So I'm stuck with HTC for the time being.
I'm curious how many have purchased the Samsung Care+ warranty for the Flip 4. I bought my phone during the pre-order and have 27 more days to enroll and have been debating it. I haven't ever accidentally damaged a phone (except an original Razr back in the day) but with the Flip/Folds I feel they are a bit more delicate than others and debating if it might be worth it. What are others opinions?
Yep. Think first 3 or 4 months free, then $8. Never bought insurance before, always got new phone every 1 or 2 years with insane trade in values, but this new design at $1k changed my mind.

If my understanding is correct it's only free in certain countries and the US is not one of them.
They gave it to me, and I'm in US. Went to website, plugged in my serial number, said I'm eligible, and it gave it to me. About 3 weeks ago and haven't been billed. Just logged in and says I'm covered. I did buy phone directly from Samsung unlocked.

Thanks, finally figured it out and went ahead and ordered it and supposedly got the 3 free months, their website is a PIA to navigate and just kept taking me around it circles for the longest!
