shouldn't blur-res.apk go in system/framework? i put both in system/app and the only icon that changed was the browser.

On the first line you check the first two boxes , and leave the rest blank. On the second and third line check the first box. Leave the rest blank. Also make sure you put them in the right folder. One goes in system/framework while the other two go in system/app

No I never got it working I just flashed up to the supercharged ROM v4 and got it removed that way but im not sure why it happened was I supposed to changed permissions before i moved the SystemUI.apk over and also once I moved it the SystemUI.apk kept force closing too so im sure that was the issue as well but even when I tried to install it from my backup the regular SystemUI didnt come back.

Since we don't have CWM, follow the instructions below
Download the GalaxySPack...
Unzip files in /system/app.
Backup your phone's file.apk that you are about to copy from GalaxySPack and also the odex file. (You can rename the files xxx.apk.bak, xxx.odex.bak)
Copy the files in your phone's /system/app/, reboot and there you go.
Done.
Don't forget to hit the "Thanks" Button for me is all I ask.
*** There is also the MultiDPI Video Player and Camera, but it doesn't seem to affect our phone. Should work on any DPI.
FOR Gingerbread Install.... (Other APK's are coming)
1. Download unsignedDialerTabActivity.apk
2. Rename to DialerTabActivity.apk
3. Backup your Original DialerTabActivity in \system\app
4. Copy new DialerTabActivity.apk
5. Hit the Thanks Button for me please (I actually did this one on my own)
Enjoy!
P.S. Music Player is the same for GB.

The zip contains apks. Basically you replace the apks from this zip into your /system/app
Like the DialerTabActivity.apk or MusicPlayer.apk. These apk's are modded to support most DPI changes. So you just replace away, but a good idea is to back your old apk hahaha....
Hope that helps.

Read the other thread about MultiDPI apks.
When you change DPI's certain things like the phone dialer doesn't scale correctly. These APKs does...
If you don't change DPI's on your infuse, don't worry about it.

Wait there are two files that you had to modify in your phone.
You replaced DialerTabActivity.apk from the .zip THEN you have to remove or rename DialerTabActivity.odex
THEN REBOOT!
Did you do this?

HAHHAA its all about reading.....
Try it for the music.apk, its nice especially when you turn on visualize for a song. Its so nice on a horizontal screen on a 4.5" screen!
Awesomeness dood! I am going to try this right now
Okay, so I made the change and my thoughts:
Dialer works perfect, music player works too but my biggest concern is that my grid where I can place icons and the apps drawer is still in the top left corner.
It's almost like phone doesn't know I can put icons in the bottom right.
What do I need to change in order to fix that?
Basically the layout of the phone does not recognize all the extra space I have now?
How can I take a screenshot to show you guys?
It kinda looks like this. Any ideas?

Get rid of that ****ty launcher....
Just using LauncherPro..... and call it a day. If you want to get fancy then get this launcher
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1095874
assuming you copied files to /sdcard/settings/apps/ and run as su
mount -o rw,remount /dev/block/stl9 /system
sed -i 's/ro.sf.lcd_density=240/ro.sf.lcd_density=190/g' /system/build.prop
cp -rf /system/app/DialerTabActivity.apk /sdcard/settings/backup
cp -rf /system/app/DialerTabActivity.odex /sdcard/settings/backup
cp -rf /system/app/TouchWizCalculator.apk /sdcard/settings/backup
cp -rf /system/app/TouchWizCalculator.odex /sdcard/settings/backup
rm /system/app/DialerTabActivity.apk
cp /sdcard/settings/apps/DialerTabActivity.apk /system/app/
rm /system/app/TouchWizCalculator.odex
cp /sdcard/settings/apps/TouchWizCalculator.apk /system/app/
reboot
i use AWD Launcher to fix launcher problem
I used root explorer to copy the files over and set permissions.
It was launcher issue...I changed the launcher to launcher pro and it works like a charm now at 200 density for now. I might change it to 190 but I think 200 is a decent enough density
Thanks everyone

Dude 190 is WAYYY better.... at 200 there is a little oversharpness by samsung's filters. 190 really creates more of a rounded letter... Doesn't make that big of a difference.
Also in LauncherPro you can change the number of rows or columns on the home screens + have it automatically size widgets and placement of icons to get that even look.
Hi Guys,
Finally I am ready with first part of My first Theme, based on Crysis revolution.
But I have made additional changes also to make it more colourful.
I am calling it as Ultimate-Bule-tripin
This theme will only work on I9003 -XXKB3. Tested on deodexed rom, but should work with non-deodexed rom also(Not tested by me, confirmed by one user here)
Use it at your own risk, I am not responsible if you brick your phone.
This release is Part-I: The first part consists of changes to the Framework files only. I have also themed applications, which I will release as I fine tune them and consider worthy for release. So Dont get confused, if after flashing you do not have all that you see in screen shot.
Features of the part-I
1% Battery indicator
Fly In and Flip Mix (ApeX) Animations -To activate animations goto Menu>Settings>display>All animations
Blue Unlock screen
Transparent pull down bar
Colourful themed Menu
Transparent glowing background
Themed Status bar Music widget and Quick Widgets for GPS, Bluetooth, wifi etc.
Much more.....
Flash it to feel it.
You can use root explorer or adb to replace the two framework files in /system/framework/
If you want to use fonts, the fonts folder should be replaced in /system/fonts
The screen shots also contains tiny battery MOD which is a separate MOD with only difference in Battery indicator s not enclosed.

Requirements:
-XXKB3 FW

This version is with Vanilla unlock screen - Many users wanted to have Vanilla unlock screen. This is in update zip format to be used with the Modded stock (3e) recovery by skin, so that you can flash it easily. Download it and place it on root of your SDCARD (do not put it inside any folder). rename it as update.zip. Now switch off your phone and simultaneously press Vol. up+Home and power on button, till you see the first screen and leave the keys, wait till recovery screen appears. Now select the update zip option and wait the phone to reboot. You are done.

Delete useless applications from phone memory if you do not have enough internal memory but its rare, bcoz the files need hardly 10mb space.

In my /system/framework, there is no "framework-res.apk" file. There is "framework-tests.jar", "framework-tests.odex", "framework.jar" and "framework.odex". I have "twframework-res.apk" and "twframework.jar".
What should I do. Do I backup these files first? If something happens, any way of copying these back to the memory from PC?
This is like a live organism without vital organ. phone can not run without this file. You have to have this file. Paste it any ways, but check properly you area in system/framework folder. Us, its a good idea to back up before that. But what will you back up if u do not have that file?

Now someone (IE a dev) with more knowledge can correct me if I'm wrong but you may have a problem with the permissions. You usually want to stay away from setting 777 permissions (IE all of them ticked like you do) I have found instability that way with various files.
My bootanimation is altered from stock and is set to 744 permissions. So it should look like this:
XXX
X X
X X
In otherwords all of them ticked but "write" on group and others.
Give that a whirl and see if it fixes your issue. :good:
^
Actually bootanimation.zip must be set to 644
x x .
x . .
x . .
To be briefer, I tick all, haha
777 in PC Linux is dangerous, but I think in this case it's ok.
Please tell us if there's something wrong

But I heard that the boot ani changer in rom toolbox would brick the phone. And I dont think that our phone is supported for that function either.
Actually the boot animation changer in ROM toolbox works great. No issues on ICS at all.
There are certain things in ROM toolbox that can cause you to loop, or cause you headaches, ie installing a one percent mod when you're on stock 20% increments. But this is not one of them.

The corrected Razr M Launcher for Skyrocket, and other HDPI devices.
Back when this launcher was released i remember liking the GUI but i also remember how the dock bar would be stretched
out of screen together with its icons. In this release the issue is fixed.
This is not skyrocket exclusive neither have i contributed to the work behind this fix.

I think you have to install all of the apks in the zip, ie even if you don't want the weather.
Working Great for me after a couple tweaks, I pushed the apps to System/apps and made sure the permissions on all of the APK were set to RW-R-R.
Then I Rebooted and Installed the APK like a normal app in system, the clocked widget didn't work so I did this to get it working
1. make a copy of the Razr M homescreen.apk
2. change the .apk extension to .zip
3. extract using root explorer
4. locate the files 'libnative_renderer.so' & 'libtexture_mem.so' inside the folder 'armeabi' under lib folder
5. copy both files to system\lib folder and overwrite any existing files and set permissions rw r r
6. Reboot
7. Install 3d circles and weather in any order
Alright, I'll give it a shot.

Hello forrest89sei.
You're not supposed to do that. Only install as normal APK. That's why you're having troubles.

Thank you for the effort, only you should not put the apks in s/a/, just install as normal.
This is not my work as i stated in the OP. All credit goes to evilisto.

Hello dulecetina.
Just install as normal apks and it will work. I'm on the same rom as you and it works fine for me this way.
Go to system/apps/ and delete CircleWidget3D.apk, HomeConfig.apk, Homescreen.apk and Weather.apk.
Then install the apks from the link in OP as normal and it should work.
Works fine for me.
I did notice none of the message notification options in the circle clock work though.

The notifications work in ICS, i haven't tested in JB.
Works well I just don't like that it can't be a systtem ap so you can't use the drawer to add widgets.

Well, you can use the drawer, you're prompted by the desktop with a widget menu that's all lol ^^
forrest89sei had something going with his/hers complicated approach and maybe that does it for widget adding?
The alarm toggle doesn't work, but the clock looks great!
In this Razr topic there is the new Motorola Droid Ultra Cicrlewidget3D & Launcher. In this thread you find a flashable zip - all credits goes to artur0588 - , wich you use in 4.2.2.
I use 4.1.2 and this is the solution which works on JB Leak 1, 2 & 3:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I try the the method, but the AtrixHD launcher not 100% compatible with the new circlewidget, FC, not see the statusbar on the screen, only the launcher menu, but I use the Homescreen 1.1.0.580 -version apk in Atrix 2 on JB 4.1.2 works only this launcher, not works with 3rd party launcher and there is no FC, and the status bar works correctly. Here is the modified pack.
0. make sure that u have a 3rd party launcherlike Apex, or Nova, and set this launcher to default first!
1. delete the earlier homescreen, circlewidget3d, cirleconfig, homeconfig - and delete the 2 lib file (libnative_renderer.so, libtexture_mem.so)
2. In the bootstrap recovery or BMM make a dalvik cache
2. Copy the CircleWidgets3D and Weather.apk from the downloaded folder to system \ app and set their permissions to rw-r--r--
3. Copy the lib files to System \ lib, also set permissions rw-r--r--, Copy the com.motorola.ui3dv2.xml to the sytem\etc\permission folder and set permissions rw-r--r--, copy the xom.motorola.ui3dv2.jar to the sytem\framework folder, set permissions rw-r--r--, and copy the 2 lib file (libnative_renderer.so, libtexture_mem.so) to sytem\lib set permissions rw-r--r--
4. Install the Homescreen.apk as normal app. (there is no need to place in the sytem\app)
5. Phone reboot choose your homescreen launcher, set the circle widget3d and you done.
only failure - you need to choose 2x the widgets to apply on the launcher screen
And this method working on ICS - tested by lasha.jala + 4.3 tested by amynjimmy.

No biggy lol. Thanks for the post though. Looks kool
Awesome post you've made here though there's something I want to clarify. So would this be able to work on a custom rom and with your instructions, would the circle widget be able to be used with any launcher, eg. Nova and apex?
