I posted a thread a couple of days back detailing a fix for the power menu reboot mod. Days after that I decided to try and fix something that had always bugged my about the power menu mod - that it used the same text for the dialogue during the reboot as the shutdown.
I modified it so when you reboot, instead of this..

Instead of posting code snippets I decided to use github, since I already had my original power menu mod in a github repo. Using this repo, you can see the code progression from stock EI22 all the way up to what is in the latest release of my ROM.

Thanks for the github
I have been wanting this for a while!
I changed the shutdown string a while back to be more neutral "Power Action | You will lose any unsaved data" but that was just a stopgap thing. This is want i REALLY wanted - Thanks for sharing!

OK I Love this rom, but I have a problem.
in some apps when you open a menu and then open a second menu with the more button, the text is black and the background is dark, making it hard to see.
Any ideas how to change the text color?
See this sample.

Sent from my SCH-I510 using XDA App
It's not doing that for me...
OK fixed it by updating to the latest Altered Beast 4.1.1
I would suggest posting this in the existing thread for AlteredBeast here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1096657 I can say that GunnerMike and DroidXcon are still working on this and yes I had some of the menus appear that way. Its still an Alpha ROM and very much a work in progress.
You did exactly what DroidXcon has asked for comments and a screen shot, but it needs to go in that thread.
When browsing through some Themes I have noticed some ics lock screens look like they have about 5 different apps you can launch from the lockscreen. Is that mod a zip you can flash or or is it baked into certain ROMS or is it simply a setting I am missing? I am using CM9 right now and I see no option to add more apps to launch on the lock screen.
Here is what I mean. (Sorry about size I just grabbed it from the thread)

hey there
this option is implemented in some ROMS like codename android who lets you choose up to 8 targets(4 costumizable).
other than that you can use app because there are few locker apps that does exacly that.
you can use go locker free theme:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jiubang.goscreenlock.theme.icecream&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5qaXViYW5nLmdvc2NyZWVubG9jay50aGVtZS5pY2VjcmVhbSJd
or the paid version :
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.italianlab.goscreenlock.theme.ics&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5pdGFsaWFubGFiLmdvc2NyZWVubG9jay50aGVtZS5pY3MiXQ..
please consider hitting the thanks button if it was useful
I would also recommend Go Lockker.
It has a lot of theming options.
Hey there,
Recently I installed this ROM:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=25110179&postcount=48
which is the only ROM i could find that has the Hebrew RTL fix for my phone.
Any way...
The problem is that i get a transparent background on the menus after a while using the phone.
therefore, i cant read the text presented there.
The problem get fixed every time i reboot my phone :victory:,
but then after a while it comes back again .
I added 2 pictures to show you the problem:
(That is how the menu suppose to be - with that blue background)

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
(And that what happens when i press the "More" button for an additional menu)
You can see that the menu is there, with the white text and the grey row lines in it - but the blue background is missing!
Any help please?
This is completely NemisisRE's work, I take no credit AT ALL for this Mod, I just wanted to get it working for my S4, so I tweaked some of the updater-script to reflect our model instead of the S III.
Original thread can be found here.
This should also work with all other US variants of the S4, and I could probably get it going for international if there would be a demand.
It appears there's some slight problem with the Home_Wake only option, it disables the capacitive keys, but the home button still acts as a home button.
Anyone who enjoys this mod, please give thanks, and donations if you feel the need, to the original developer.
EDIT: Might help if I attached the file, eh?
DERP!
Also, screenie -

It's a cool mod for those who want this but I wouldn't want to add any mod that takes away my precious screen real estate.
I created a simple app directly compatible with a rooted CM11 T699
Since I use JuiceSSH and to get it working on my T699 I used this remapping guide
But after each flash the file was reset, and since I sometimes need the terminal quickly and couldn't remember how to setup the file I made this app to quickly download it from the store and remap my keys when needed.
You can find the code here:
on Github
Or the app here:
In the Play Store
[sub]app was just posted so it could take a while to show up on the play store[/sub]
The app is quite simple, it reads your sec_keypad.kl listing all the entries.
Click on the one to change and search a KEYCODE from the list
Done? click on 'save' from the menu and restart the phone. You're all set!
