[Q] radio nexus s i9023 ICS - Nexus S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I want to flash Android 4.0.3 on my Nexus S i9023...but i have a doubt:
have i to flash a new radio (if yes what radio) or the same radio that i have on Android 2.3.6 will work??

I was on XXKF1 and now I am on XXKI1.
On I9023. No problems.
Your old radio should work fine if you have problems with the new one.

hey man
dont bother about the radio, cause it is a Stock rom, be worried if it is a Custom ROm

EC01 radio/vzw rom/ cm6

I am fairly new to XDA, please be gentle. That being said, I am currently running the CM6 rom. Is there a way to flash the ec01 radio without flashing the stock vzw rom. Or am I supposed to flash the vzw rom in order to flash the radio. Forgive me ignorance please. I am just Leary about flashing a vzw rom to my wonderful mes.

EC01 radio is ONLY compatible with VZW roms. jpaulwaite just posted up some that were "mesmerized", but those are the only ones compatible with that radio. (this has been stated in several threads )
So I do need to flash the stock eb01 for the radio to work. I have the sfc and bh 4.4 downloaded mesmerized' on both. I reckon ill just flash away and see what happens. Than You

My main concern was flashing to the stock eb01(vzw). I think it was a misunderstanding on my part. I now am under the impression that I only needed to download the radio from that thread. Thank you again.

[Q] Updating Radio on Cyanogenmod

Hello,
I want to Upate my Radio to the newest (HTC DESIRE Z), I use "03.02.26_M". But I have to update the Lib files then, but at the Automatcher Thread the OP means that its not recommended to Update those on a AOSP Rom. Why, what can I do then?
Regards
THANKS
I would still need an answer!

[Q] HTC HD2 Nand Nexus 2.3.5 bluetooth problems

I installed Nand Android Nexus Gingerbread 2.3.5 on my HD2. When I turn on bluetooth and try to use a handfree device, the phone freezes and I have to take the battery out to reboot. Does anyone have a fix for this problem?

Please list the details of your HD2 like what radio it has, is it a T-Mobile US, the name of the ROM...who made the ROM.
Also, you can find specific support here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=989
It is a t-mobile US I'm not sure of the radio or where to find it, i'm a noob. Kernel version 2.6.32.15_tytung_r10-gbdfeaac [email protected] #72 Build # GRJ90 (NexusHD2-Gingerbread V2.9 Nand) Thats all I got.
I think radio is your service provider which in this case is T-Mobile

Try flashing the recommended radio. It might make a difference.
Also, make sure the card you use is fully formatted and has been used with this ROM right from the beginning (never been used with any other Android ROM and then used with this one). Formatting it will help if it was ever used with any other ROM prior to using with this one.
Here is the recommended radio: http://www.multiupload.com/QP0IWGY42F

[Q] Foxhound Rom Update Question

I am new to this forum so first of all hello
I have been running the Batista70 FOXHOUND EDITION 0.4 Rom on my Galaxy S2 and its working great.
Now for the question, I have been searching high a low and I can't find out where Im going wrong here.
I want to update it to version 0.5, should there be a updater or something included with the rom? I can't find anything at all.
From what I can tell in the development thread there should be something in there to set up the sever and whatnot for updates. Or do I just have to install them from zips in cwm like when you first put it on?
Thanks in advance

[Q] How to instal Gingerbread?

Hi to all. I am new here and bit comfused. Moved from Sony Ericsson to HTC sensation. I manage to unlock bootloader, S-OFF and update radio.
My configuratin now is:
Firmware 3.33
HBOT-1.27.1100
Rario 11.24a.3504.31.m
Manage to instal some ICS roms but my phone is all the time bit lagy and lack of sharpnes and fast response.
So, how could i revert to gingerbread, i find some gingerbread stock roms and tryed to instal ther fro cwm (wiping data-cache-dalvik)
but phone wouldnt go further than HTC logo. :crying:
What i need to do to be able to install Gingerbread???
Thanks to all
You need to downgrade your firmware I think (anyone please correct me if I'm wrong) but gingerbread will only work with firmware version 1.17. See kohr-ah's thread to downgrade.
For the lag, I would try a jellybean ROM because it's integrated with "project butter" which reduces (basically eliminates) the lag. I would seriously try albinoman's 4.2.2 ROM. It's silky smooth and has minor bugs.
Here's albino's ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=37121632
I think you should try it before reverting to gingerbread
Sent from my HTC Sensation
Thanks
