Hello!
Is it possible to make this with UOT kitchen? or there is another way?
someone maybe?
It can't be done with the kitchen but there are many add-ons on IC or ARHD that enable this through a flashable .zip

Anyone know any themes for Chevy's SSX? I don't know if I can use other themes on the ROM... and also if it is ok to use a Blur theme on it can I just open the theme in 7zip and remove the .apks in it so it doesn't install stuff back.
I'm using BigDXSerenity with no problems.
Can anyone tell me whether the transparent status bar mod in the UOT kitchen works for the likes of Senseless-Extreme rom.Tiwili mod only good(very good in fact) for roms with Sense.

Hello everyone and good day...ive been searching here and i cant seem to find the guide for modding the icons located @ the status bar of HTC Desire S...if anyone here has the solution or guide pls share and guide us in doing so...thanks and more power....
I just wanna remove or hide the clock icon in my status bar since its like a redundant of the clock that i have on my main screen...tnx
What rom do you use?
Bulletproof Tweaks Port for Virtuous Unity can do this.
Push me soft
Or use UOT kitchen. You can mod all the icons on the taskbar - not sure about completely removing an icon tho. Might be worth a look.
Peace

The up-coming CoreDroid release has options to tweak the status bar, including the option to hide the clock.

I know you're on a differenr rom, but this one - also from proxuser - has "RCMixHD Tweaks" built in and it is possible to hide the clock with it. You may be able to download and apply the same "tweaks" to get this effect?
Peace

SystemUI is the app that displays the top notification bar and all its components. Rosie is the home launcher, otherwise known as Sense UI
K, so i'm running RCmix3D Runny 4.0 ROM (Sweet ROM btw) and i've found an icon pack that i want to use, not in an APK format, just have it in a folder as of now, both installed on my desktop and in my media folder on my phone. i really don't want to use Launcher Pro or anything like that to keep the icon pack installed, so i was wondering if anyone knew a way to install the icon pack with a program that doesn't need to be consistently ran to keep the icon pack installed.
i'm not completely retarded when it comes to ROMs, but i am new, so please, be gentle. lol
You would have to use a theme pack made for your Rom if you want to just flash it. If you know how to extract framework apks you could swap out the PNG images yourself.

There is no tutorial that I know of. Learning how to do most of this stuff requires time searching and reading on the internet. I use linux with dsixdas kitchen to have a working folder of Rom. You could just pull out framework-res.apk and systemui.apk from Rom to work with as well. Decompile apk, trade out PNG's retaining original file name, recompile and change extension back to .apk. now you have the apk with different icons. Either build Rom with these or push them to phone and reboot. There are many other places where PNG images are stored as well. Com.HTC.resources.apk is another one for example.
