I just read something on this the otherday but I can't find it for nothing :/ said something like changing device name and manufacturer in build.prop to fool market and to use Samsung nexus since it was such a widely popular device. But like I said I can't find it anymore.
may not know what I'm talking about, but doesn't the fix market option in cf3d make these available?
What I'm referring to fools the market into thinking you have a different device so the Alps you see showing up as incompatible aren't any more and you are able to download them
if your using cf3d pro you could use the fix market option after installing a plugin or maybe just make it look like an Atrix 4G

It worked. Gameloft games don't give errors. Wow!.. and more games showing up.

Changed setting gs to the ATRIX 4g alit more apps sowed but asphalt 5 kept saying device not supported but mainly my auto rotation would not work at all even though its checked in settings tried on/off no luck also phone was slow and battery drain so i reverted to stock build.prop and everything's back normal. Any clue on what might have happened and thanks for advice guys

Changing your build prop settings to an lg phone and then downloading the box.net app and then registering will give you a 50gb storage for free. LG had some deal with box.net so give it a shot.

Loads and everything but you don't get any graphics other than the hands on an invisible steering wheel. If you switch to outside view you just get gfx weirdness.

Wow, I'm flattered, thanks man. Sorry to all the desire and nexus one owners, other snapdragon users have tried to get this working with no success.
lol I couldn't help but notice "NFS ****". That was the only reason I clicked on the link.
NFS is a fun game but not enough to satisfy those who pursue simulation and challenge.

its simple really. the version on the droid x is optimized for a different GPU than the snapdragon GPUs, that is why it doesn't work on the N1, Desire, EVO, etc.
Don't know if any have tried it, but it works on cm7. You can't search for other artists (apparently, when google found out about the leak, they shut down the servers..(for both down load and streaming).
But the app by itself is nifty enough to make me want to use it instead if the native music app. It has a nice iphone-like flow-search (or whatever that's called).
Check out my screen shots below. I dont have much music on my phone now (so no cracks about the sound of music track I have in there), but you can get an ideas of what it looks like.
I would upload it for you guys, but I don't know where it is on my phone. I installed it, and then opened it immediately. When I tried looking around on the SDcard, I couldn't find it anywhere.
But just search here in xda under "honeycomb music app leaked" or similar.
Edit : I don't think it works in Froyo.
Edit: anyone know why these screen shots are blurry? they look fine in my gallery....??? [when I try to upload them to this thread, tapatalk takes over--(which I presume is the xda app), so I think something is getting screwed up st that point.. And I am not near a working computer at the moment

Then how come its not used in any roms? Or at least more frequently used. I have been playing with it for 2 days, and it is a fast nicer music app them the old one.
How long ago was this originally leaked? From everything I have read (which could be wrong I guess), this music app is for honeycomb and is going to be part of google's anticipated entry into music to compete with the iPhone/iPod. It can't be that old.

I only had the piss on apple animation, but I uploaded it Here. At least, I'm pretty sure that's the right one.
Ok, so I used adb and moved all my apps to my sd using setinstalllocation, I uninstalled system apps and games, such as fifa and star battalion and reinstalled them and moved them to the sd. This all worked fine and the games run, however, they do not show up in my xperia play launcher. The other games do, but the system ones I moved, sims, fifa and star battalion, no longer show up in the launcher. Any ideas? Kinda ruins the whole point of the launcher! :-(

it is a app on the market "custom car home" and i set shortcut links to each rom and then made 128x128 icons for them
I've looked and looked and looked and I can't find exactly what I want.
I know there is a way to trick the Android Market into allowing you to download apps that are not technically supported on our device because it's too new or it's not tegra2 or the developers are lazy.
I am having a helluva time finding out how to do this. I've read that changing the lcd density will do it but it did not. I read chainfire 3d has a market fix but only the free version is compatible with our phones, not the paid version? can't buy it ?!?!?!?!
any way I can fool the market into thinking I have a phone that is compatible?

I figured out that anything other than stock LCD density will break compatibility with market.
Buy chain fire 3d from the market.

Yeah fixes most of it still some games don't show up for the skyrocket even with this. Try getting the gameloft or glu nfl football game to show and install you will be out of luck. And there some other once that won't show either. Bummer.
