Every time I check my voicemail I have the same issue. I tell the phone to dial my voicemail and I get the prompt to enter my password. I hit the dial pad button and it comes up. Then, for like 3 of 4 tries - I'll hit the first number in my password and the phone goes black, and no number is entered. This happens like 3 or 4 times until the password entry almost times out, then finally it lets me enter the password and check vm's.
Anyone else experiencing anything like this? It's extremely annoying!

Hi all,
I had set my XDA orbit -2 a simple numeric password every time i enter .the last password was set a month ago before i left to vacation ( out of country). when i came back and wanted to use the phone, it did ask for password as usual. but when i tried to enter the password which i had reset before and it doesnt allow me, saying incorrect password ( i forgot my password in short).
I tried several times , after few times, a message is displayed that i had entered incorrect password for too many times and there is a time lag which doubles up every time i enter an incorrect password. currently it had set to 4 hrs 38 minutes .
i.e i can enter the password once in 4 hrs 38 minutes and if i enter it wrong then it doubles up to 9hrs 26 minutes and so on ....
also the time clock stops automatically if the screen becomes black.
I did try to reset by pressing the button but it comes back to the screen with the time ticking backwards
PLEASE HELP ME TO FIND A SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM
Thanks for going through my long post

Hi There,
Im not able to login to my phone .. I have set it up to lock if not use for 2 minutes but now when its locked it says in the screen to tap or slide.. i slide and then enter my 4 digits number and press the unlock button nothing happen , earlier if i enter a wrong password it used to popup a message for wrong entered password .. is there a way to get into my phone ...
You will most likely have to hard reset. I had the same problem with my TD2. The issue is discussed here somewhere, but they had no luck solving it.
It doesn't say if you had it wrong because you have entered the wrong password too many times. At least that is my theory.
Sometimes when I press the power button to wake up my phone, I immediately get locked out for a short period of time as if I entered my password incorrectly multiple times. I have to wait before I can enter my password for the first time. There is no popup saying I entered my password 3 times incorrectly and the locked out time is very short (about 5 seconds). I'm running rooted stock 6.0, and the only app I can think of that could possibly affect my lock screen is gravity box's quick unlock for pin passwords.
Has anyone experienced this before and know how to fix this? It doesn't happen very often, so it's not too much of an issue, but I would like to fix it if possible or at least know why it happens.
Thanks in advance!
I've just got done a fresh install of the May update. After I finished restoring my settings, I went to set up my pin/fingerprint. As I was typing in the new pin, a system message appeared saying the settings app timed out, closing the settings app. I went back into the app to enter my pin/continue setting up my pin and it now says I need to put my pin in. So I just assumed my pin went through, I entered my pin and it says it's wrong. However, there is no pin lock on my phone. I can enter my phone from the lock screen, reboot, anything as if I don't have a pin. So I'm locked out of making a new pin, but not locked out of the phone.
Has anyone else came across this issue? I've never had this happen until the may update.
Thanks!

+1 same thing happened to me :/
Hey guys,
I'm hoping to tap into the minds of those who get crafty with Android. This is my last resort, I don't know what else to do.
I'm wondering if it makes sense to you guys that deleting an entry in the mobile Active Sync window of a user's exchange mailbox would disable the OK button on the PIN pad of an Android device?
Here's our situation: a user comes to see IT because his Outlook(app on Android) profile was disconnected and after having tried to enter the correct credentials many times and not be able to login, we decided to remove his device from the exchange Active Sync mobile menu of his user mailbox in exchange. Afterwards, we still weren't able to add his account in the Outlook app, so we figured, let's just reboot the phone. We couldn't simply reboot the phone because the OK button on the PIN pad was greyed out. So this device being a Samsung A50, we simulated a battery disconnect with the phone keys and when the devices boots up, we're not able to get past the login screen because we still can't press the OK button that is greyed out.
We do manage our cellphones with an MDM but it's not able to connect because we aren't past the login screen. It's my understanding that the OK button lights up when numbers are being entered on the PIN pad, but in our case, it just stays gray as we're typing the password.
Would there be a way to install a custom ROM on the phone and have access to the user's images? We have his PIN, we just can't press the OK button.
turns out... user was typing the wrong password :x
He figured it out a week later
