Didn't want to take away from Earthsdog's Review of the case that he returned. I'm actually going to keep these...for now. Yes, they are quite slick. I thought the black rubber parts were going to be more like silicon, but no. These cases are still made for the 4G LTE, so the speaker grill doesn't completely match up to the Skyrockets. There's also that darn opening at the top, right corner. Other than that, it's a perfect match. I have heard that the black rubbery areas will eventually become easier to handle. Does that mean that the sticky parts are just building up with greasy? Maybe...
The plastic pieces fit nicely but the more you handle it, you can feel the play/movement between the two. The outer plastic is definitely flimsy and could possibly crack. We bought these just because we were very limited with case choices for the Skyrocket. Comes in a fancy plastic container, with cleaning cloth and free basic screen protector.
Here are the pics.

Before we got these 2 SGP cases, we bought cheapie $5 Galaxy S II (T-mobile Versions) TPU cases off the street. Im my opinion provides better protection and handling of the phone. Eventually, we'll be able to find cheapie TPU's for the Skyrocket. With it costing only $5 a peice, I wouldn't mind attacking it with a hole-puncher to make a few holes or widening some. Such as the power button is partially covered, speaker holes and headphone ports are on opposite ends.
Here are the pics for that:
Here is the White version of the SGP Neo Hybrid Case for 4G LTE:
The SGP Neo Hybrid definitely wins on style, but the cheapie definitely wins in protection & handling.
Let me know if you guys want any more pics. I was going to post the white cheapie, but got lazy.
I think the case really only costs $10 since a screen protector by itself is $15. I think this case offers pretty good protection to the phone with the rubber compared to hard cases which don't absorb shock. I don't really feel like dropping it to find out though.
A good screen protector is about $15, but this one i think is just one of them generics that you see on eBay, shipped from hongkong... or I guess Korea.

That's not really a fair impression. The film says basefilm in Japan, manufactured by SGP in California, and finished in Korea. China is certainly associated with cheap knockoffs and bad quality, but high tech nations such as Japan and South Korea? Our phone is made in Korea, as well as designed by Koreans at Samsung. Besides, this brand of screen protector generally has positive reviews.

Not saying Korea or any nation have cheap manufacturing, btw China is one of the best, most of everything comes out of there including your computer. I'm saying it looked like a "generic"/basic one. I have a ton of them lying around my house, generics (name brand or not) for just about every phone I've got in the past few years. Screen protectors for Cameras too, scattered everywhere. My definition of a quality would be something with special application and warrantied replacements from bestskins or zagg, etc. For my camera, that would mean a abrasion and scratch-resistance glass with 3M glue and not some basic, thin, peel and stick product.

I got the body glove case at At&t today because I loved that case so much on my captivate. All in all it is a good case. Here are a few pro cons for those looking for it.
Pros: very low profile adds hardly any bulk to the phone just like the captivate version, I love that it's semi hard yet "sticks" in your hand nice and isn't slippery.
Cons: the large cutout around the camera sucks. They cut way to much out and I can see losing my small child in there if I ever have them both in the same pocket, because of it's low profile, the camera sticks out past the case therefor there is no protection for the camera if it gets dropped on that side, the case fits as snug as it did on my captivate but it has a very weak spot around the volume rocker.
All in all if you are just looking to protect from scratches this is a great case, but for ultimate protection look elsewhere.

I have the same case. I noticed that there's a gap on mine at the bottom of the phone and I can push it in. I may go back and get the speck case to get better protection. I understand that with that case the camera is flush and doesn't protrude.
I loved BG case on Captivate and would've jumped on this one too but that huge cutout on the back is really off-putting to me for some reason.
bigdessert, I concur with your findings. Love the Body Glove for the same reasons as well as the textured back. But I'm paranoid of something happening to the camera lense. My wife is looking at upgrading to the Inspire very soon but she doesn't like the Body Glove. She uses a Speck case on her Aria right now so she will probably stick with that brand for the upgrade. Then I can compare them side-by-side
I have a review up on my website of the speck case for the Inspire.

Good to know on the camera Gunny. I was wonderng if there was a case that would keep the camera from sticking out so far. I hate how it does that as it's very prone to the lens being messed up when you lay it down!
Just wanting to add to this...
I too purchased the Body Glove from ATT on launch day due to lack of alternatives available. I was very disappointed, because as usual it didn't cover the buttons on the side and tops, and the cutout made the side supports a little more lose than I prefer. I also noticed that it added a LOT of bulk to the back of the phone.... so I ended up returning it.
Often times when a new phone come out, I take a chance and order a cheapy case on eBay for $2 and end up throwing away when it arrives due to it being cheap mis-fitting junk.
However, I came across the cases listed below from seller AccStation on eBay, and decided to take a chance. They sell them for $3.50 with free shipping (tho I had to pay tax since I'm in CA). It arrived and was like Christmas day. I'm not even kidding. I've had hundreds of mobile devices, and thousands of cases in my life, and this is hands-down the most 100% perfect fitting, most amazingly cut case I've ever bought, and it was only four bux! The camera cutout is EXACT, it's like the phone was dipped in the rubber. There's no lose\off-cut pieces. The shell is incredibly thin, and it's a material that doesn't stick to the inside of your pocket when you put it in and out.
I am ordering more from this seller to have as backups. Right now they're out of stock, so they raised the price to $100 to not sell any, but watch their website and grab them when they're back in stock. I can't even begin to tell you how impressed I am with the quality and fit of this case, it's as if my phone was dipped in the rubber, it just is 100% spot-on!

Hello 8.9 users . I know a lot of people prefer leather cases or smart covers, but what i am looking for is a good soft neoprene case that will protect my tab against eventual drops or scratches, when i'm carrying it around. I don't like the ones where you have to stretch them to get the tab inside, and i much prefer the ones with a zip on the side.
I was thinking of getting something like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Red-Slim-Ne...ltDomain_0&hash=item337143b173#ht_1152wt_1396 but it ships from USA and i don't like the shipping costs and delivery time. The other thing, it lists as a case for tab 10.1 too, that means the 8.9 will probably "swim" in it a little bit. Can anyone confirm this?
Has anyone found something similar to this one (or better), that is preferably shipping from Europe? Please do share what kind of neoprene case did you get for your 8.9.
Can't be that no one likes neoprene?
Yah...most cases are leather or pleather. =) Here are a couple links that might help.

I am planning on getting the Belkin Leather case. They make a neoprene one though too. I don't think you will have too many options other than maybe making one for a DIY project. In the long run though it maybe cheaper just to the pay the shipping and get what you want. Time is money!

I just picked up this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/29064036495...NX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_5130wt_952
It fits perfect. The Model is the A7s. Ignore the models specifically labeled "8.9", they're too big. The A7s fits perfect with no stretching. It's not neoprene, but a kind of pleather. However, it has a memory foam layer that makes it very cushy. It zips all the way open on three sides. I also got this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Case-for-Ga...Accessories&hash=item45ffdeff77#ht_2358wt_814 which also fits perfectly. When the plastic cover is on, it still fits great in the memory foam case.

Looks good. Can you post pictures when you get everything all set up?
Here's an ebay post with a different colored plastic cover, but is the same thing. More pictures. www.ebay.com/itm/Galaxy-Tab-8-9-P73...?pt=US_Tablet_Accessories&hash=item3a702df2dd. As far as the case, it looks pretty much identical to the pictures in the listing. The fit is exact for The 8.9. There is no extra space, either height or width.
I might be a lil late here, but I just recieved the following case, and love it.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B006WBVU50/ref=redir_mdp_mobile/192-3119395-3706453
most of the cases i picked up were for all galaxy devices so my tablet has a lot of free space to bounced around.
Just wanna let you guys know that i recently got the iLuv sleeve for my 8.9. If you want neoprene and whole lot of protection and soft materials, stop looking, because this is the best one. It fits perfectly, no bouncing around. Payed 24 euros for it, but it's worth it.
Has little triangles on both sides, that add to overall rigidity and extra protection if it accidentally drops, since they soak up the impact. It also has a pocket on the outside, where you can put your smartphone or other accessories. All in all, it's a very nice and high quality sleeve, i'm very happy with it. Here are some photos:

I've been through two feature phones and three smart phones and I never used a case until this one. For previous phones I would at most put a skin on them. I dropped my last two phones (Palm Pre and Nexus S) from ~2 feet a few times and each time it landed on a corner. No major damage, just scuff marks. The reports across the web are that the S4 doesn't hold up too well in comparison to other phones when dropped. The screen runs right to the corner which makes me worry. That plus the phone being so much larger (and harder to hold on to) made me decide to go for a case. I went with the Spigen Neo Hybrid, and I think it's great. Doesn't add much thickness, looks great and should protect the phone.
If you're looking for something stylish, I'd recommend either Verus Oneye - http://www.zoarah.com/by-brand/verus/#ty%3Bpagination_contents%3B%2Fby-brand%2Fverus%2Fpage-2%2F
Or
Spigen Slim Armor - http://www.spigen.com/galaxy-s4-case-slim-armor.html
Or If you dont mind a big case(with better protection), a Trident Aegis - http://www.tridentcase.com/shop-products/samsung-galaxy-iv-i9505/aegis-case-samsung-galaxy-iv-i9505.aspx
Today I went shopping for alternatives while waiting for the Spigen Neo Hybrid I ordered from across the atlantic, and stumbled across Samsungs own Protective Cover +. I had no idea what I was buying, but thought it could be worth the 20 bucks. Turns out it's actually a pretty solid case, with a sturdy polycarbonate back and what looks like TPU all around the sides. It even has holes on one of the corners to fit wrist straps and such.
I'm not a big fan of the grey TPU for the white version, but other than that I'm really impressed. Despite its name it's probably no more protective than a basic TPU shell though, in particular because it doesn't add more than a millimeter height to the edge of the screen.

Maybe a slim back cover is your like, covers are form-fitting snap-on covers that protect your cell phone without adding a lot of bulk, have openings for camera, volume/ side buttons, headset, charger jack and kickstand which allows access to all phone functions.
Nope, they aren't worth it when there is need for cheap Black Market spare parts.
Not a case man either but this case made me keep the S4. lol As far as being worth it ummm yea it's a 500 + phone. Only takes one drunk night. hehe

Haven't seen this posted here (yes, I even searched), and after Googling it, I couldn't find much other than where to buy it. No reviews or videos or anything! That's kind of unfortunate, because it certainly looks like a top notch premium case/wallet. I'm considering picking one up, although I would agree that it does seem a little pricey. On the other hand, quality does come at a price (and so does style). None of the other genuine leather wallet style cases I've seen look even remotely as nice as this one. The BoxWave does look good, and while they claim it's genuine leather, reviews point out that it is indeed faux leather. As any leather connoisseur knows, just smell it. Faux leather is a deal breaker for me. Even the Sena Magia doesn't look as classy or as high quality, yet it's self-described as a designer case, and costs just as much!
One feature about this Tuff-Luv case that really grabs my attention is the pen holder. I recently picked up the Adonit Jot Pro stylus (highly recommended, btw) so this would be perfect to always have it handy. Since I also use a Square reader on the go, I like the idea of providing my clients with a pen-like stylus when they sign for credit card payments. Also makes for a better experience when jotting notes or sketching, but anyway, I'm trailing off too much here. Point is, having the option to always have it handy is a definite plus.
So to recap: Designer quality genuine leather, beautiful design, card/money slots (could replace a wallet), pen/stylus holder, lifetime guarantee... Seems like a winner to me! Only down side is the price. What does everyone else think? Does anyone here even have this? If so, it would be great to see some input. Maybe a quick review and some real world pictures would be nice.
The only problem I see with these kind of cases - all the cards and the pen may scratch the glass.

You do bring up a couple valid points, but it does come with a screen protector - and they encourage applying it right away. Even if it's not as good as other screen protectors on the market, it would work just as well with any others. As far as the pen goes, it shouldn't touch the glass at all. If you use a pen with a clip on it, face it away from the screen to be safe. I'm sure this was a concern in the design phase.

Credit cards (assuming they're made of plastic) shouldn't scratch the glass. The principle is that an object made of a harder material will scratch an object made of a softer material. For the same reason, our fingernails cannot scratch the glass of our beloved Nexus 4. As for the pen, it appears as though the case holds the phone in place with two strips of some kind of material which covers both the left and right side of the phone. I would imagine that the pen (or stylus) would only come into contact with the inner strip of the securing strap (or whatever you'd like to call it). In either case, if I were to purchase this case, I wouldn't worry about a card or pen/stylus would scratch my phone.
tl;dr: Unless your credit cards are made of harder material than the glass on the Nexus 4, there should be no concern with the glass getting scratched.
I had one of the faux leather ones as my first n4 case. Didnt have as much wallet room as i had hoped (to be expected). But i found my biggest qualm with it to be when i had it the cover folded all the way back, it muted the speaker. I never found what I'd call "the ideal" way to hold it.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
I use to do so many installation videos of invisibleSHIELDs (orignal, HD, dry) back in the day. Then Spigen came along with all their Glas screen protectors. Doesn't take much to see that a glass screen protector is superior in clarity. It's really become a shame to put a product that suffers from known issues like the rainbow effect and orange peel on these flagship devices.
I'm sure ZAGG felt the pressure put on them by manufacturers like Spigen to produce something better. Enter the Glass line.
PRICE
This thing is kind of expensive. $40 bucks basically at Best Buy. From ZAGG it's $5 cheaper. Maybe that's because there is less packaging with the one that ship from ZAGG.
Spigen is pretty expensive as well. Cheaper glass screen protectors are popping up on eBay at lower prices. I think for the most part those will be fine. I've used a few before. Expect less support if they don't work and a higher chance of bubbles. How much higher? I don't know. We'll have to wait for feedback from others.
WARRANTY
Of course there are cons to glass screen protectors. I won't deny that. My wife has cracked a few. Spigen has a replacement program to get you another one at a discount cost:
http://www.spigen.com/need1more
According to the information supplied in this product, ZAGG will keep on sending you replacements if you pay shipping and handling. You will most likely have to return the broken pieces of your protector as well as proof it was damaged.
INSTALLATION
You don't really need a video. However, I did one anyways . The installation process is easier in my opinion than non glass screen protectors. Ultimately you'll just want to make sure everything is dust free and aligned. If you skip towards the end of the video where the screen protector makes contact with the screen, you will see the air bubbles all come out on their own. It's that easy.
FIT AND CONCLUSION
I was really pleased with the fit. This product leaves enough room around the side of the screen for cases which is a huge benefit. Most cases will not pry up the borders and cause the glass to lift. Cheaper Chinese glass screen protectors and this one leave openings and not just cutouts for the speaker and home button. In this case, I applaud that because of the fingerprint scanner. From videos I saw of the Glas, they chose to have a cutout for the home button. They're thin, and I'm sure you can get your fingerprint read. I mean, who would design it that way if you couldn't? I just believe that it would be easier to scan it if the area was left open. Spigen used to give away home button stickers to make the button taller. Can't do that with the S5's scanner.

Here's what we found at Best Buy last night from ZAGG...
Hi thanks for the review really liked it. though, isn't the glass screen for the s5 smooth and hard enough anyways? and also would it be possible for a review on the extreme version i want to see the clarity on that one. since i am a outdoors kind of guy i got a good case with it just need a screen protector that will help avoid the damages and keep it clear for me to see.
