Hello, I have a problem when I try to flash the AOSP compiled for the HTC Desire,
I'm using the recovery ClockworkMod 2.5.0.7
and when I flash the update.zip I get the following error:
E: Can't chown/mod /system/keyspa.sh
(No such file or directory)
E:Failure at line 14:
set_perm 0 0 06755 SYSTEM:keyspa.sh
Installation aborted
somebody know what's happening?
Thanks in advance..
Check whether the below link helps u..

Hey, thanks for the response, but I already check it.
But I dont perceive any solution from there.
now the problem is the update-script / updater-script
I think the problem is the update-script. Well I try replacing the update-script by a updater-script from customized roms like Oxygen1.04 or CyanogenMod 6. But when I try to apply the update.zip I get the following error:
can't open /dev/tty0: No such file or directory
So I'm using the ClockworkMod recovery 2.5.0.7, and I don't know if that recovery can work with "updater-script" or just update-script.
Hope anybody can help me
how can I generate the update-binary for my updater-script
I figured that maybe the problem is because I dont have a udpate-binary file next to my updater-script.
someone can told how can I generate this file?
Thanks in advance..
Hello
I am new / a noob... [For Below I have highlighted what the issue is in RED on the code part of the issue]
I have looked on this site for three days running. I have made steady progress towards rooting my HTC Sensation XE, as a noob I have download alsorts of unecessary things and misunderstood alot of what is describe but I have done well so far - I believe.
Brief run down of things done:
- Installed all required drivers
- used this awesome guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1660831][All In One][Guide] How To Root...
- Follwed guide and currently down at Step 2.3 - open extracted zip folder and click runme. thats all. (if experience any daemon hanging problems pls install htc sync and plug in phone so drivers are installed. once done delete htc sync and repeat root procedure) PC will open a cmd screen with prompts that you need to follow. The app does rest... So its nice and easy
Ok so to the point of this thread.
I downloaded DooMLoRD's root.zip doo dar (Lack the correct terminollogy - Im a noob so handicap is allowed)
Extracted all files
Opened up the 'Run Me.exe'
A cmd pops up, with info of preparation before hiting any key.
I hit the any key and below is what I get:

This restarts my phone but nothing else.
I have the su apps on my phone, I have root explorer too.
I've looked in the \system\bin and \system\xbin for an su or something titled su or su binary
Can't find anything so I am worried about that. - does my phone have an su?
Also from the code above it mentions 'cannot open for write: read-only file...' how do I change this if this is the source of the problem?
If not, further down it mentions not being able to copy 'superuser.apk' over - do I remove this from the extracted files and replace with a current version?
Please can you experts help me out - I have searched the forums but they only resolve other makes / models.
Additional info is I didn't S-OFF as I couldn't understand what to do, but skipping that step I still got this far so unsure if I needed it.
I appolagise for the lengthy post but it should help shortlist possible problems down abit.
Thanks for reading.

Hi. I have a briked chinese phone (F7102), so I decided to dump the stock rom from a friend phone (same model) using this tutorial:
"you need a rooted device first before you can do it.
after you have rooted it. download the following app from play store called "android terminal emulator"
copy the romdump file to your sdcard and put the sdcard into your device.
copy from your tab the file to /data/local/ (use e.g. ES File Explorer (need root access))
change the permission of the romdump file (using ES File Explorer --> Hold the file --> Properties --> and change it to 755(rwxrw-rw)
open the installed android terminal emulator app
use to following command
su
/data/romdump
After you run that you can copy the whole folder in /sdcard/romdump to pc (using external sdcard, usb plug-in,...)
"
Everething was perfect, and the result of it was a folder named "romdump", it contains the following files:
config.gz 0 KB
system.info.gz 2 KB
system.tar 480 MB
checksum.md5 1 KB
My question is, how do I flash those files into my briked phone, from fastboot? ADB? and wich one of those files do I have to flash (for the size i think is "system.tar").
I hope you can helpme, please try to put the whole procedure for flashing the rom. (I am a noob on this.)
PD: sorry for my english.
Hi,
That's not a procedure many do here... But if it's your only option, maybe this guide can help.... You can ask for help here too,

What about using another root explorer app?
(E.g. Root Explorer, ES File Manager, etc.)
Keep in mind that you have to enabe root features in the explorer app itself and grant it root permissions in SuperSU app.
In some root explorer apps, you have to mount system partition as R/W (read/write) before you are able to change something in there.
For further questions, please ask in the Galaxy Star Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.

Hello,
I have Samsung Galaxi S II GT-I9100
Android version 4.1.2
I got root access, CWM and SSH server installed.
Recently I tried to download an audio file over 3G. The download couldn't be completed and after then I wouldn't be able to download any file. I discovered I could also not delete any file from my internal storage which is sdcard0.
When I tried to change permissions on sdcard0 using SSH I typed:
Code:
chmod -R 777 sdcard0
and got this:
Code:
chmod: sdcard0: Read-only file system
Please help would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
