No they don't, but they may help you download larger files faster(at least that's what the author claims). Honestly I doubt that there is anything that is going to do that yet on any mobile OS. If you do find one please post back in this thread as I would be interested as well.
Will do.

Sent from my XT910 using xda premium
Have you tried Market Enabler?
It just let me download it by faking my country as Canada.
If you have trouble with that (like, if you're not rooted) then let me know and I'll upload the apk.
I am not rooted and would be grateful

Hello.
First, you must install Eclipse with the ADT plugins, in the latest version, it will install the android SDK for you. So, you will have all you need in order to start.
Next, you will have to code in Java.
You can look at tutorialforandroid.com, there is a tuto for what you want (sorry, I cannot post direct link because I'm a "newbie" here).
Good luck
not a problem thanks ever so much
Sent from my Nexus One using xda premium
You're welcome
You may be particulary interested by this tuto:
http://www.tutorialforandroid.com/2009/02/webview-with-zoomcontrols-in-android.html
(yes, I can post link now )
Otherwise look in google for "android webview".
If you want, I can build it for you, just give me the URL and your icon, it's a 5 minutes job
Wow sure thanks dude! My URL is: www.silverbeanandroid.co.uk
And what format should my icon be? Thanks alot
Sent from my Nexus One using xda premium
This is my icon. If you could take away the white background that would be great (I'm a bit of a noob) but if not its ok. Thanks
Sent from my Nexus One using xda premium
Here it is.
Sources and APK.
The code was inspired by these tutos:
http://developer.android.com/resources/tutorials/views/hello-webview.html
http://www.tutorialforandroid.com/2009/02/webview-with-zoomcontrols-in-android.html
Enjoy

You can say "tuxfamily" from xda dev, it's okay
About Eclipse, install Helios
http://www.eclipse.org/helios/
and next, the ADT plugin
http://developer.android.com/sdk/eclipse-adt.html
Once it have installed the latest SDK, create a new Android Project and choose to create project from existing source, and provide the path where you unzip the provided sources.
It's not so hard at it seems, don't worry.
OK thanks how do I create an android project? And if I was to use your source is there a way of putting a navigation bar at the bottom so you can navigate between 3 of my sites? Thanks and sorry for my noobieness

You can create a new android project in Eclipse like this:
File -> New -> Other ( Or simply press Ctrl + N ), then open the Android map and click Android Project.

It's an app that was specifically for the Samsung galaxy SIII, but we are able to port to our phones now that we have the ics based roms. Is basically like Siri for Android

well I saw that you can download a hacked .APK for S voice that will work on any ICS phone, so I downloaded the .APK to use on my S2 w/ ICS on it. Now when I go to install it I get a message that says "Application not installed", can any one help me fix this so I can install it? I have seen people on youtube doing it with the S2 so I know it should work on my S2.

You should go to the Samsung galaxy s2 forums. But it may be a problem with the build.prop, I've seen threads where people have had to edit it

Didn't work for me it FC's as soon as I say "Hi Galaxy"
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda premium
doesn't fc, but the main button freezes right after first command, then I have to kill it to fix it. The other buttons work like help and disable voice response. Also, the only command that seemed to work was "Hi Galaxy". Then it said hi. Other commands I tried included "call mom", and the response I got was "calling mom" and then freeze. The back button clears the messages on the board, but functions are useless.

Didn't mean in the apk. Apps have 2 areas I know of. One is where the apk is data/app and the other is where it saves its data. Cache and things. Data/data? I think ghats where it is. Take your time though, no hurries.

I was able to find the actual bootanimation.zip by using the search function of the ES file explorer app. It's located under /data/local/moodle/. I'm not able to pull it from my phone right now, but it should be pretty easy for anyone with access to a root explorer app.
