I "think" you need the htc skin or theme set to weather not got my phone to hand atm to check but its something like that
O yeah, i'd like to0 know why i dont have that sort of animations on my Chacha.
While other HTC devices have that fancy weather animation ...
you need to use htc weather widgets in ur home screen, touching the widget will give u weather animation. on the other hand if you like animation when u unlock the phone, use fancy widget.
Can someone get this working for the HTC One S please. Here's the link for the apks

hello
i extracted out the deskclock.apk from a non sense rom (4.2.2), and have installed on my stock rooted htc one xl (jellybean 4.1.2). -- this is a sense based rom...
when adding the digital clock widget (android), it just says 'problem loading widget'
is this doable?
can someone point me in the right direction?
thanks
Exactly which widget is it? If it's the CM cLock or Dashclock, they only work on Android 4.2+ so Sense is a no go at the moment (until it's updated to 4.2).

its not the dashclock, just the standard clock, the analog widget works fine, just the digital one....
Hello,
my girlfriend recently got an HTC One S.
She was very happy with both the phone and UI before coming across a graphical bug (or perhaps something you can set?) concerning HTC Sense and widgets.
It seems to be a transparency issue that causes areas of widgets that are supposed to be semi-transparent to darken and seem like shadows.
What could be the cause of such a dramatic difference on the appearance of widgets?
I attach two screenshots, first one is the HTC One S with GO Launcher EX applied and the second one is HTC One S with HTC Sense:
