I own an ipad, and recently bought fruit ninja on it.
Since I bought the game already, is there a way for me to get fruit ninja on the transputer from the android market without having to pay.
if there isn't a way, would it be illegal to get an apk to install it outside the android market?
Email the developer and ask?

I very much doubt it... It's like purchasing a game for the Wii, buying an Xbox 360 and expecting that same game for free.
SOME developers MIGHT help you out, but it's very rare to see.

29-12-10 Edit: And they've been pulled, nothing to see here so just move along.
So I got Dungeon Hunter HD a few weeks ago when Gameloft was offering it for free on their website. Imagine my surprise today when I synced my Appbrain account and it showed that there was an update available for Dungeon Hunter HD on the Android Market! Did Gameloft finally cave and put their content onto the market?!
No such chance unfortunately...I clicked through to the market to find that the "game" was being offered by a dev called DavinciDevelopers who had the cheek to list gameloft.com as their official website.
Looking through their other apps, they also listed Avatar HD, Hero of Sparta HD and Spider Man. "Avatar HD" wants permissions to send, receive, edit and read SMS messages and "Spider Man" requests loads of bluetooth and wifi permissions.
Don't get conned by these scammers!
Unfortunately, I can't post links as a new member but the curious can find these apps by searching on Appbrain.
Edit: I have flagged these apps as inappropriate and would appreciate it if others did so too so they get pulled off the Market.
I despise Gameloft for not releasing their games in the Market.
If they did, I would actually start buying their games.
Go buy Dungeon Defenders in the Market, a much better game running the Unreal Engine made by developers that understand.
Agree

The fact is that this is just giving Gameloft another reason to shun the Market. Letting DavinciDevelopers be will only give them more of a chance to scam unwitting buyers who keep trying to get the game to work until the new 15 minute refund window is up.

Be careful when purchasing from Gameloft, save your .apk files. If you decide to install another rom or change phones in the future, they do not allow you to download the file again without having to purchase it again.

True definitely save the Apk.
from the Gameloft website
I deleted my game, can I download it again?
Gameloft's policy is that if you buy a game, you can re-download it on the same device with the same phone number within the 90 days of your purchase. To re-download your game, go to http://gameloft.com on your mobile and click on the 'My Downloads' link at the bottom of the page. You will see the list of all the games you purchased so far that you can re-download. If you purchased your game on our website on your pc using your credit card, enter the 'My Account' section at the top of this page and re-download your game(s) after signing in.
Keep in mind you will be charged for any data fees your carrier may charge for downloading your games.

Since this is already a thready about gaming.. Other than Emulators does anyone know of any games that support keyboard commands or bluetooth game controllers?
I figure at least with keyboard commands you could map it to the controller.
it would be great to to just need a micro HDMI and bluetooth controller to play games on any TV with an HDMI input.
I'm waiting for the datel Wii retro wireless controller to show up in the mail. Its cheap, has bluetooth built in so I wont need a nunchuck, & used the BlueputDroid app.

That is not true. I bought Nova and Gangstar back when the EVO came out last year and I just re-downloaded both of those games from gameloft's site. When it asks you what device you're using you just need to select whatever device you purchased it on at the time. Also saving your apk won't do you much good because when I tried installing my saved apk on my G2X, when it got to the in-game download it would not allow it. I had to re-download the apk from their site. SN: re-downloading Nova worked whereas re-downloading Gangstar worked, but the game didn't run correctly (had a lot of white squares everywhere).
MODS PLEASE READ OVER ENTIRE POST. First off let me start off by saying I'm strictly against piracy. With that said there should be protection for both the Developers and Customers from bring stiffed. I purchased Pinball HD for Tegra a couple months ago. It downloaded and installed perfectly fine on my Vibrant and ran with Chainfire 3d. Now since Google apparently gave the Dev's the ability to choose which devices are allowed to download it won't show up in the Market. I've contacted google concerning it and they told me to contact gameprom, in which I did. Gameprom basically told me they won't help me because I have a Vibrant. I don't feel it's right to not be able to enjoy/utilize something I've purchased. I have my google order receipt to show proof...so my question is if Someone who has the app can be kind enough to p.m. me. I'll attach my google order receipt if someone wants to see it. Please help I love that game.

Just search on google. Grey market apks aren't hard to find.
Theres also a cracked version of Pinball HD for tegra that will run without chainfire.
Its the only tegra game I've seen with such a crack.
Yeah, the Pinball THD has been cracked to Pinball HD. Same goes to T-Racer THD > T-Racer HD. From my perspective, it isn't wrong to play the same game that you've paid for. It can be viewed like this - you own the software, but then you "mod" it a little to be played on another device of yours. Piracy occurs if one didn't buy the game, but the one have and distribute it to others.
I fell in the same boat, and when I basically got the same response from them, I just used my 4shared app from the market to download the apk that I've already paid for. I definitely won't be buying any of their Apps till they change their bullshyt policy.

Valve has just released their official steam app yesterday for Android & iOS. Login to be added to the list of "possible beta testers". I just got accepted.
https://market.android.com/details?...NvZnR3YXJlLmFuZHJvaWQuc3RlYW0uY29tbXVuaXR5Il0.
It works great on my Transformer but it's not really optimized for tablets yet, we can only hope. What I'm hoping though, is integration with mobile apps! That would be awesome! Just imagine buying Dungeon Defenders on Steam and being able to play it on your tablet for free (or GTA III, Plants vs Zombies etc).
Anyone got an invite?
Gave away mine to a friend, should've just let him wait on his. People were trading it on the forums and I could've gotten something nice XD
Gave mine to a friend, too. Seems he could care less. App seems kinda slow, but to not miss a super sale because I'm away for a day is AWESOME!!
App is now available for all steam users. It has officially left closed beta.

That would be amazing. Not sure if developers would like the idea. On the other hand, Steam already integrates the PC/Mac versions of many games, so there is precedent.

Don't forget they already tried PS3 integration so they are probably willing to try this sometime!
Dungeon Hunter 3 is now available in Gameloft Market Page.
someone know if it is online play only?
thank's
Oh, yes! Been waiting for this... Wait, what??? They want money for it? It was freemium (free to play/try) on iOS! What the hell Gameloft?
Oh, regarding your question. I can only talk about the iOS version which I played, and that REQUIRED you to be online to play it.
Every single in-game transaction (like buying a potion) went through the Gameloft servers.
Don't know about this version though, I AM NOT GONNA PAY FOR IT, it should be freemium as iOS version, damn you Gameloft.
I play it in ipad, but, this version, graphics are different.
I saw gameloft have java version, and this version have graphics.
Someone help us?

I am really curious about this game. If someone buys it, please let us know. I might even change my opinion and buy it, IF there are no further IAPs required.
But if they want me to pay upfront and then pay for IAPs.... not going to happen.
I didnĀ“t buy it but i saw the screenshots from the game and it is the java version(2d graphics). Gameloft also said on Twitter that they will release Dungeon Hunter 3 for Android in March alongside with the IOS Multiplayer Update.

I hate Freemium, I'd rather it be pay so I can get it for 99 cents when they have a sale. I don't want to have to have my credit card linked to a game to play it.
do xp able to play such big deal?
