There is a good sidekick 4g for sale here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Samsung-SGH...ell_Phones&hash=item4aac8180ba#ht_1528wt_1135
Its on ebay right now.
What would be a good price for this? Would $250-300 be a good price? Let me know, thanks.
according to t-mobile: http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/phones...x?cell-phone=T-Mobile-Sidekick-4G-Matte-Black
it retails for $379, you can get it as a trade in/upgrade for $79. It's more a 'value is in the eye of the beholder' situation here.

Amazon seems to be sellling this phone unlocked for $519.00. My friend is in the US at the moment and i was planning on having them next day ship it to him (Miami). Is this a good deal for a new unlocked Inspire from a reputable place or could you all suggest some other places?
Thanks for all the help everyone! Looking forward to becoming a part of this forum.
I would recommend buying the phone locked for cheaper, and unlock it using the tools available in the dev section.
Well considering I can't get it on contract, do you know where I might be able to find it at an off contract price that is less that what I listed above? Thanks for you help!
479 at amazon without contract.
cant you walk into any ATT store and pay full price for it at 399 dollars? thought it was 400 dollars full price at ATT stores...

+ tax as well.
Inspired from my Inspire 4G using XDA Premium App
AT&T raised the price to $450 a few weeks back, in fact every smartphone went up $50. Plus tax as well... Better off ordering through Amazon.
Actually would have had to order it pretty early this morning to make sure it got to my friends hotel in time before him leaving. So I might just have him walk into an AT&T as you have suggested... Doesn't seem like it will be too much of a difference. Thanks again everyone! Have all been greatly helpful.
Has anyone heard if and when they will be carrying this phone?
THANKS.

Good question and it appears the answer is yes.
My only issue with Best Buy. Is that I'm a NON-contract customer with T-Mobile USA. And Best Buy always wants to charge an arm + both legs for anyone who wants to buy off contract. They specialize in selling with contract, they don't like us non-contract folks.
I'd love it if they'd price match a non-contract price, even the T-Mobile store's $549. Just because Best Buy has some nice protection and buyback type plans. (Not saying I'd nessisairly use their plans, but nice to have options if you want them.) But for me, they're not an option if they do the Sensation like all their other non-contract phones, that they sell for way over regular retail price. I'm sure their non-contract price for the Sensation will be about $650 . They're already selling the EVO 4G out of contract for $599, while you can get that at Amazon off contract for just $469.99, regular retail price for that one is $499.99
Available on the 15th, according to Best Buy Mobile employees
Found out from a friend, that Best Buy WILL price match T-Mobile's price. Plesant news for me . Now I just need this thing unlocked and rooted so I can buy one .
just walk into a walmart and buy it today...i got mind yesterday
Thanks for that info. As for me I buy at Best Buy because well i have credit there and don't want to open up credit anywhere else.
18 month no interest is not a bad deal for me since i always pay off my purchases within a few months so it works for me.
I really hope they match and have this phone on the June 15.
Any early adopters bring there Sensation back to Walmart for a price match on the $550 price that tmo has? Im going in to the store in about a half hour to try myself and wondering has anyone done it yet.. please report if you have , thanks
Try getting a Costco price match first. They are selling for 500.

Let us know if it works, Ill do the same thing then
just came back from walmart and yes they priced match with no issues and no restock fee.. did not know about the cotsco deal , smh.. o well. truthfully i do not think they match wholesale outlets anyway.. maybe sams would.
Just came from Walmart.
After showing Costco Membership card, they matched the price to $499 and I did an exchange due to a dead pixel in my first phone...
darn, good job... congrats
by the way my new phone will not sound upon notification.. a text for example.. it rings fine when someone calls me . but texts stay silent.. any ideas?
Huh, i'm a Costco member, and I didn't know they were selling the Sensation so low.
I hate contracts (and am on TMo with a Nokia on Even More +). But, i was going to go for hte contract by stacking the SENSATION50 code with Saturday's Father's Day promo. That's $170 savings.
Even More + (off contract) will only save me $15 a month = $360. Add the cost of the phone upfront, and I am at break even.
Might as well not spend $500 today. Unless, of course, I need to break the contract, then i would be $200 down by going with the contract.
Decisions, decisions....
So do I need an actual print ad from T-Mobile when I go to walmart? Or will they honor online prices?

Just price matched the costco price at my walmart. The cs manager was skeptical but they did it anyway because costco doesn't have a paper ad.

When they asked me I told them I didn't have one. If there was a problem to just refund me the money and I will just go tmo and buy another. Transaction completed. Lol
The pricing as other threads have probably shown, prove that sam's club has a silly pricing point for their wireless devices. They had the phone for $144.00 and right across the street at a tmobile retail store I would have had to buy it for $294.00. So, if you have the ability to pick it up at sammy's or costco!
With contract tho right u had to upgrade???

Oh yeah. Def. with the upgrade or new line. But its still cheaper by far!
Radioshack has it for the same price.
What about if you don't have an upgrade? T-Mobile wants me to pay $499 because I upgraded 8 months ago for the Nexus S.

Without a contract extension, which you aren't eligible for, good luck finding anything below MSRP
I bought mine on ebay for 400 (380 + 20 for S&H). With Tmobile I would have had to pay around 549.99. Yeah right they were going to get that much from me. I also have my HTC G2 on ebay at the moment to help with the cost of the new phone. But this phone is definitely worth the upgrade, its so fast!
Ima just try to find one on Craigslist bc my chick is spoiled and gets what she wants yeah. I just got her sidekick 4g for her bday on 4th of July and now she wants this mytouch 4g slide bc she doesn't like Samsung and bc there's no camera flash kinda gay. She came from the old mytouch 3g slide so that's why I just figured she like the sidekick but yalls know women so yeah but let me know if u cone across ne brand new ones from cheap eBay Craigslist whatever

Costco (near me anyway) does not sell phones without a contract. They told me I couldn't even choose a T-Mobile Value plan - it's Classic or no sale.
Costco is in agreement with the carriers that it cannot undercut carriers with off contract price. Don't bother looking for that anywhere. Ever.
Craigslist, however, is another story altogether.
Hey, all!
My wife likes this phone, but at a current suggested price of $399 it is a no-go. anyone aware of a coming price drop, since the sg2 came out?
Thank you.
That's unlikely but have you considered eBay or Craigslist. I have seen them for around 200.

if it were more like 150 or so, i would. cl is slow and expensive (at least for this phone) over here in okc.
T-mobile website has the GS4G for 150.00 with 50.00 mail in rebate. It may be a web only offer but after rebate your looking at bill for the phone.
