Before the infuse was released it was announced that it would do 1080p video recording and playback, and some reviews posted sample videos of the 1080, yet now that its released I can't figure out how to do the 1080p, though on at t and best buy s sites both say that it can do it.... Am I missing something? The highest res I see is 1280x720 and im up to date on the software, please help! Thanks

Where does it say the Infuse can do 1080p recording? Unless I'm missing something, it's only 720p from the factory.
Please don't post new threads when others of the same topic exist. This is one topic that has been discussed at length in other pre-existing threads.
I searched and couldnt find any of those said threads, and I guess they changed the site but in the july best buy magazine it says ot, ill post a pic of it soon.

Why did you include all the spaces, instead of just the link?
it can do playback on 1080p files with h.264 codec but at a limited bit rate. the recording was never advertised from Samsung. the original add only said the word 1080p. it never noted it as a spec for recording. it may be a feature in a future update but don't think Samsung lied. only the tech news guys and readers made poor assumptions.

Bkoon1218 gave me an idea to become a youtube partner so I could possibly get another galaxy s 4g for better reviews instead of me wiping data and then setting everything back up after the video, because its really annoying. And im getting the hercules but I want to keep my loyalty to this community!

Yes, you need at least 100 subs and I think over 1,000 total views. But I'm not 100% sure on the views qualification. I have about 800 subs and about 250,000 views total all about MT4G stuff and I've made about $600 total in the last 6 months to give you an idea of how much you'll get. So you'll definitely be able to get a new high end phone each half a year.
If your application to become a YT partner is accepted then just enable the revenue sharing on each video. Good luck bro.

It should be somewhere in settings. Something like "Apply for Revenue Sharing."

No problem. My tip is that you should make some videos pertaining to Android in general and not just SGS4G because not many people have that phone. That way it will build up your views and subs, thus more money.

Yeah, like maybe when you have a larger amount of videos on your channel, you can just post in one of the SGS4G video reviews and say, "For those interested in getting the most out of this device, check out my channel for SGS4G tutorials and ROM reviews!"

You really should link to an article, either here or in the video description on youtube. From what I've heard these were merely user agents detected on a popular android site that showed Android 4.2 on 4 new devices. That doesn't mean these devices even exist, anybody can make up a fake user agent. The only thing that would make it seem legit is if the IP addresses used by these visitors belonged to Google or one of the phone OEMs.

Android and Me just posted that the huge list of Android 4.2 features that they listed were fake, which is creditable since Dan Morril (one of the lead Android developers) posted "reading Android rumor blogs. Lol." So he could have possibly been referring to that article. I guess we'll see in the coming months!

IDK if anyone of u have noticed it but .... youtube video playback even in HD is really bad ... before like 2 months i bought my wife HOX+ and we tested our devices one HD playback in youtube, her phone was outstanding sharp pure hd video mine was a bit mushy and blurry. After i got on JB the thing was the same, but before like a month or so she got an update on Youtube app.. and after it the video quality decreased and now both phones HOX+ & HOS look the same when playing youtube HD vids. I downloaded few 1080p clips directly from YT and played them with the standart player and guess what both devices where with perfect sharp clear image ...... so i got to the conclusion the problem is in YT ..... anyone know something bout it and how to fix it if there is a fix at all ?
My Nexus 7 youtube playback has become horrendously laggy. Im stock everything. My Samsung Galaxy Nexus, running the same latest Jdllybesn has no such issues.
Rebooting does not stop the problem.

I'm sure everyone has seen this video of the kid with glossophobia. I've watched it and noticed the YouTube app being used in the commercial has some sort of face recognition where it circles the face of Colin Firth and brings up his bio.
I've never seen this before, does anyone else have this ability?

Because this is an official google video,they wont show something that is not there,so why wont you try this yourself,just go into a video of a famous person and pause when the video shows a close up of his face,I never tried this,but be sure i will and come back to tell you!
