Just wondering if anyone else has tried to install the new launcher pro plus? It wont install on my X10. Does it require Android 2. XX? Id really like to give it a try based on the preview screen shots ive seen. Nice features. Anyone try this home launcher?

Yep mate, 2.0 +
I bought this SE Xperia X10 Mini pro like 3 weeks ago and I'm just trying all the ways to change its theme, I hate the factory theme, makes me so sick when I look at it eww....
I even installed GDE and it just can change the wallpaper (for example when I go to the settings the wallpaper is the same old damned blue...) what to do now I hate this feature so much... I'm regretting so much for buying such a mobile ah, and by the way I could not download the ADW launcher I tried so hard...
Somebody help me please
Try asking in the "mini" forum. ;-)

NOOB Question: Although I have searched this forum for this information I have not yet found the answer to this question:
Can I install Launcher Pro directly onto a non-moded GTab in order to gain access to the homescreen like on most Android UI's. I am looking for the easiest way to get control of the homescreen, but I am not sure I want to try the mod's yet as I am new to this stuff.
Sorry if this is answered somewhere already, but I didn't see it.
Yes you can, I have it installed on mine. The only thing I did prior to installing Launcher Pro was rooting it.
Guess that will be my next search. How to root? Any suggestions?

I use LP with TnT 3.0. Like it bunches.
Is rooting necessary in order to use Launcher Pro?

I was looking at a stock G-Tab at Office Depot this week and noticed that the crappy "market" (not-Google's) that comes on the device has a section to download a few different launchers; I think Launcher Pro is one of them. I installed it while in the store and it worked fine.
Great thanks.

I'm new here but I've been learning about custom roms and flashing them to my HTC One X from the amazing ViperXL Rom to CM10 and I was just wondering if anyone knows if its possible to flash Windows Phone 8 on an HTC One X...Maybe its not possible yet but i think the idea would be pretty neat to have it running or emulating on the device right? So anyone has any ideas or know about a developer who may have it on the works?

As far as I am aware, the answer is no. The reason is due to the different hardware(no driver support) and the closed nature of Windows 7/8 it isn't possible to make the rom.

Hmmm i'll take a look at it maybe over time the update fixes the slow feel...but i didn't know there were XDA Rules on that...
Everyone is always talking about launcher 8, but launcher 7 is a highly polished windows phone launcher that's been around for a long time and has flawless performance. Also if you really like the look there are great lockscreen, keyboard, status bar, calculator, SMS, and dialer apps. I tried it for awhile and it was kind of cool. I can dig up the names of them if you want

...or you can just buy a different phone every time you want to try something new instead of coming on XDA, rooting your phone to install custom ROMs and wasting poor cheesy's precious time, lol.
As others have said I don't think it's possible but I also think that it would be cool to try. Can I just say that the first time I ever used Android it was on an old Windows Mobile 6.1 device, it ran like **** but at least it was an effort and it was a lot more fun than just buying a new phone.

Hi.
I'm looking for the Default Wallpaper of the Mate 7 but it seems very difficult to find. Of course I googled it, but without success.
It's that Wallpaper, that is black/Brown and it looks like a record (maybe)
Would be very kind if someone would give me a link to it, or could simply post it here, so that I could download it.
Thanks in advance
Greets
