[Q] What is the best APP to share internet

hi everyone im using a X10 on 2.1 and i just need to know what the best app (paid or free) is for sharing internet so i can plug my x10 into my laptop via usb and use the net on my laptop... thanks in advance..

Google just pulled tethering apps off the market I don't have the news link to post but it was announced like three hours ago

Best imo is easytether. They are only banned in us and only for verizpn ATT and t-mobile

thanks for the help and replies im using easy teather lite it works fine then cuts out so it seems im going to have to pay for the full app thanks for your help guys

[REQUEST] Email inbox

Hello Everyone-
I use my transformer mainly for work. It works great except for one downfall. The inbox can only go back to one month. I know that this can be changed as it has on various roms for phones. I m looking and hoping someone can edit some sort of setting or code (sorry i don't know dev / code talk) so instead of only getting one months worth of email, i can get them all in my inbox.
i m using exchange if that helps anymore.

Get Moxier. It's beautiful, also fixes this. Works well with Exchange.

Yah I tried that but for some reason I really like the stock app. Anybody??

Android Market through http-proxy with Authentification

Hi!
I am looking for a way to forward ports through a http-proxy, which use authentification (username/password). Specially for the androidmarket to update my apps.
I am in hospital right now and all ports except 80 are blocked.
I use the lightning-mod 5.0 with the Samsung Galaxy S2. Searched a lot but found nothing working for me.
Sorry, if I'm in the wrong board or didn't find the topic related to my question but I got a lot of pain to handle right now.
Would be pleased to find help here.

It seems ProxyDroid, at least the latest version, lets the market work through the proxy! I just found out myself

Mail app sans exchange security / admin settings ?

Love this device. Just need to get on my exchange account without giving the IT guys at work all those rights to my device.
They' re using exchange 07 and upgrading to 10 in a few weeks.

You need to go with an app like Touchdown then...unless you do some major fiddling around. I think a global search on XDA will come up with some hits to a "native Android" mail app to get around Exchange servers security requirements. Touchdown is much easier...

As one of those IT guys, chances are it matters little to them.
Touchdown works well. If y'all are cloud based then AFAIK your IT dept might well have little control over the config. Native box on site, more local admin control. But keep in mind, Exchange 2K7/2K10 can get squirrely when a device other than MS connects. Apps like Touchdown do help smooth the road a bit. You may want to sit down with your IT people.....get 'em a coffee...and see what can be worked out.

Hello guys,
I have a lumia 710 and i m using rataplan final rom,
I cant sign in my google account, its show me an error, (sync error)
Few days ago i bought lumia 625 , and my google account was worked good with it...
But now :'( what to do ? All of my contacts and emails on google account....
Please help me...
