Did you do full wipe before flashing the new rom. Data, cache partition & dalvik. Are you sure the phone settings are not on silent
I never flashed a new rom I just rooted it with out flashing a new rom

Do a full wipe is my suggestion
Hey guys,
i've found a 'very' good kernel it has voodoosound, so maybe i solves your problem.
It has bln-support and voodoo, it works for both 9020 and 9023 users. Just check it out:

Well I unrooted and I still have sound. So I'm at a lost.

Does anyone get applications that they used to use on their G2x before that get the "your device is not compatible" error in the market? I get it for the XDA premium app and I always ran it on CM7 now I cannot any ideas what to do?

Try to clean the cache
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda premium
Yeah, I started getting it on a game called Sprinkle.. if I flash back to stock it works fine but it doesn't on the new version of CM7 (2.3.7). If I flash an older version, it still works.
Maybe the developers don't have the newest version flagged since the only phone that "should" have it is the Nexus S 4G.
In most cases cleaning cache solves the problem. If u played with ur screen resolution just back to 240

Had the same issue and cleaning the cache solved it. Ideally if you have CWM installed 'wipe the /cache partition"

When I try to open cyanogenmod settings or the browser it just forces close. I'm running on nscollab 1.0.60 with Trinity kernel!

Try installing setcpu and seeing if that fixes it.
Just install it no need to open it.

Have you tried a fresh install? Always works ;-)

What do you mean by a fresh install?
Sent from my Nexus S using xda premium
A fresh install means wiping the dalvik cache and factory resetting the phone in recovery mode before flashing the rom. Best use titanium back up if you want to keep your apps

Do you remember doing anything to your phone before the fcs started?

If it always has been like this, you've most likely corrupted the ROM file during download.
Download it again and install it after doing a factory reset & caches wipe.

Thanx bro it worked!!!!

Dear all,
I'm new here, I just upgraded my nexus s to ICS 4.0.3, t-mobile ROM. After experiencing battery problem a few days, I decided to do a factory reset. But after the reset, the Google voice icon is missing and I can't launch it at all. I looked at the app manager, and it is there. So I did clearing data for Google partner setup app and restarted the phone, but it still doesn't show up.
Your help is greatly appreciated

Download it from the market.
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using xda premium
It doesn't allow me to download because it's native build-in app.
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
Stupid question, have you rebooted your phone again after doing the factory reset? I had a similar issue, although I didn't notice it at first, but when I rebooted my phone Google Voice and Voice Dialer showed up.

Make sure your language is set to English (United States) and reboot the phone again.

Go to /system/app and reinstall, only works if you have rooted phone. Or I can upload apk if you need.

downloaded an installed manually, but it disappeared again after reboot.
anyone else can help?
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
Wipe your system, boot, cache, delvik, data and reinstall the rom.
Alternatively you can download a different launcher that will let you replace the icon such as go launcher.

Clean up tools are not good. If you can't wipe system/data factory reset in cwm you don't need to be flashing roms.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Well I did because in the op for cleanup batch he was having the same problem so I tried it didnt work and I know how to flash and wipe through cwm. I work in a place that does not allow radios and I love to have music when I work and the only way I can do that is Bluetooth.

Sorry to hear that out does not solve the issue for you. The reference link in the op includes the method with gb 2.3.3 just flip the recovery in the folder so you have cwm as the reference will push stock.
BTW if you don't need mute with bluetooth you should switch to anything over 2.3.3 as for some reason the disconnect problem gets resolved that way... I couldn't as I must have mute over bluetooth

Hey guys i just upgraded my gf phone to the new update OTA and ever since i installed it when i send her a text or she sends me one i don't get it or she doesn't get mine? any fix for that? whats going on?
I think that would be the network
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda premium
You probably didn't wipe the phone before the ota. So the update is kinda messed up. Just flash the stock again
