i was wondering if the nexus one is compatible with hd2, i wanted to flash it but a friend of mine tried to flash the g1 and it black screened when you slid the keyboard open
Just wondering if there was anyway to get it.
Thanks.
I have an original Evo and was itching to trade for a phone a tad smaller. I dont care about slide out keyboards cuz im use to screen typing but was thinking of trading my evo for either an evo shift or sprints nexus s. Of all three phones HTC EVO, Nexus S, Evo Shift which one is better in your opinion and why?
Thanks.
Nexus S 4G
Awesome screen, no carrier bloatware, pretty much no need to root or flash it. All the best roms are trying to be a Nexus S. Also Gingerbread right out of the box...did i mention the awesome screen?

Nexus S is a great device, but I'm still facepalming over the lack of an sdcard slot. Why, Google, why? One of the great advantages of Android devices over the iPhone is expandable memory.
And really, the Galaxy S (all variants) have sdcard slots... so why not the NS?
Nexus s but just get sgs there same thing as nexus but with SD slot

TouchWiz though, and CM7 isn't completely stable on the GSM Galaxy S devices. GPS does not work.
If CM7 stable was on the Vibrant, I'd probably sell my Glacier and go back... I left that phone primarily because Samsung doesn't seem to understand GPL compliance...
There is no such "best phone"
What is best for me may not be for you
I know this might sound like a stupid thing to say but when the Galaxy Tab first came out i was impressed that it could do just about everything a tablet and phone could do in one package. And am looking into selling my Sensation to get one. The other reason to doing this is that my phone doesnt get any any signal where i live (Countryside) which i dont blame on the device at all, it more of a bummer all though my phones of the past where able to get goodish signal here. Are there any other tablet sized devices that have the function to text and possibly call like the original galaxy tab, and if so point me in the right direction.
Wrong forum, wrong website even maybe???

Hey guys, so I got my Infuse and it's time for a upgrade. I'm stuck between the htc one and the galaxy s4. I keep going in circles so I'm turning to the trusted XDA community. Can anyone give me some tips on which would be a better phone? Thank you in advance.
I like the s4..altho I have seen quite a bit of problems from both phones.. I don't wanna get stuck with a htc...just my .02:mfclap

My suggestion would be compare the specs first - there are a number of websites you can go to for this - you will find they are very close.
Then go to an AT&T store and try them both- test them in the way you use the phone.
Make a decision.
I have the int'l galaxy s 3 (not 4) and I also have an HTC One Dev Edition- my choice between the two would be the One, not a blow out but an easy decision for me.
( qk, still a touch of valley fever... )
