Hello my fellow XDA-members!
I bought a Nexus S a few months ago and got a guy helping me to root it. I have 2.3.2 Pre-installed.
about 2 weeks ago (mid April) I got the message from my phone that an update was available. Therefore I tried to update to 2.3.4. The update failed and weirdly my phone when to 2.3.1 from 2.3.2 !
Anyways, I Ignored it and yesterday I noticed that a new message about 2.3.4 update was on my notification bar. So I tried again, Still got aborted... and now Im back to 2.3.2 :S
Both time when I have tried updating I have gotten the message Status 7 and something about E:/... , cache fail.
What can I do ?

hey guys ive been having trouble to get flash an fxz because rsdlite kept saying flash failed, but i think i finally got it right. now my question is what is the atrix 2 stock 2.3.5 kernel version and build number? my phone currently says (after fxz): Android Version 2.3.5, Kernel Version: 2.6.3598a0a06 [email protected]#1, Build Number: 5.5.1-175_EDFFW1-16
I just did a factory wipe/reset using RSD Lite to 2.3.5 using the AT&T Retail 2.3.5 ROM from here:
http://sbf.droid-developers.org/edison/list.php
(and I did add the little patch file because I had been running 2.3.6) and the build info and kernel version match what you posted so, I'd say that's the true "stock" factory condition, yep. I'm already updating to 2.3.6 as I'm typing this, actually.
Hi,
I'm trying to update a HTC One A9 I bought online. When I'm doing a search for software updates it says there is no,
I've also tried to install LineageOS to get the latest Android version, but it got stuck in some kind of HTC boot loop.
I managed to restore the phone to RUU for my software number, but still no updates available.
Isn't it strange that the phone doesn't have any updates?
Can somebody help me. please?
