Parrot AR.Drone Q: Ad-Hoc network on Nexus S? - Nexus S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone,
I'm planning on buying the Parrot AR.Drone.
There are some nice third party apps that can operate the drone but most of them requires voiding its warranty.
iPhone can connect to Ad-Hoc networks, can the Nexus S can (I heard something about Android 2.2+ but not sure)?
I'm rooted so if there's any ROM or Kernel that makes this possible it'll be great!
Thank you!

You need to replace the WPA_Supplicant file from the \system\bin directory. As always... PLEASE make a backup of the original file and save it somewhere.
You can find the file in this thread I posted

Is there any bluetooth game controller that can be used with emulators on infuse?

I was looking to join the Infuse 4g team here and wanted to know the following:
- Can you use ANY bluetooth controllers with gaming emulators? Also is there a single one that works without being rooted?
I know that Samsung usually messes up the ability to connect bluetooth controllers. I remember with my HTC Nexus One it worked beautifully with a wiimote even though I never rooted
I figured if I can use a bluetooth game controller with the gaming emulators and HDMI it to my television that I would have to purchase it...
Thanks for any knowledge you can give me I appreciate it
Yes, bluez ime will let you use zeemote, icontrolpad, and msi bgp100. No root required. Get bluez ime on the market.

Oh... My... God...
You sir, are AMAZING!
Thank you so much I really appreciate you taking the time to answer my question jjfbman. I was starting to lose hope since no one answered my question but you saved the day. I'd really like to go with the Infuse but I told myself the next phone I get has to do 3 things like the iPhone can:
1. Emulators w/ bluetooth game controller support
2. Bluetooth keyboard support (I believe some people say the infuse already does this?)
3. Netflix streaming
1 down... 2 to go and I'm sold
Netflix support is probably going to come with Gingerbread. And if the rumors about Roger's Infuse are true, then an unofficial Gingerbread release shouldn't be too far off.

I don't know if there are going to bemany people who are willing to crack open their TPs to test this. I would also doubt that there are going to be any android drivers since that would require that the developers have a TP with this installed. Very unlikely.
Thanks for this fox!! I was always wanting to see about adding a radio card to the TP. I knew the difference between the cell version and regular version of the TP had to be a simple module connected either via ribbon, coaxial, or both. Some simple empty space ready for a radio card to be plugged into it. I guess I was partially right. :3
I really will consider doing this. Although I am loyal to T-Mobile USA and it doesn't seem to support this Going to check out some disassembly videos and see what I'm up against. But it would be nice to have a cell-capable TP.
Bookmark saved, thanks again!
What about this one?
Ericsson F3307
Seems to be the same one used in epad, so I'm guess there are drivers for it; so I'm guessing it can be used on android, but for webos it'd need porting - maybe from the android version or the linux version (don't know what the dependencies are).
Or maybe others too.

I just want to save someone from damaging their TouchPad doing this mod. The modem will not work on a WiFi model since their boards are different. The 4G model has the connection for the AT&T modem whereas the WiFi model doesn't have the connection present. I've learnt this through swapping parts out for servicing my TouchPad 4G on a mule TouchPad WiFi.

[Q] Video out on ICS?

Hello Community!
I know, with Gingerbread there was(is) no way to connect the Nexus S to a TV/Beamer or something like that.
Do you know, is it know possible to connect the Nexus S with any kind of cable to a beamer?
I have some unrooted devices for presenting my apps for a lot of people, so is it possible?
Greets!

Am thinking to make Bluetooth data transfer faster in my galaxy s gt i9003
s3,note2 and any other users who have Bluetooth3.0.apk installed in their phone then please share the app !!!

Different Bluetooth versions are restricted by hardware and not just software. In other words, the version of Bluetooth on your phone is not upgradeable; it extends beyond the APK. It's actually in the chipset.

Any WebOS 5.1 root yet?

Heya!
Recently treated myself with a new LG TV and chose WebOS since it seems to be the best developed (apart from Android TV) so far.
Is there any way to root it and install third party apps on it? Or is it even worth doing it?
Thanks!
