Folks of xda, is it possible to port the battery meter that runs along the top of your screen, into CM7?
I'm not sure if it would be dependent on the framework of MIUI...
I am pretty certain that you cannnot, because miui is like a tottlay different framework and stuff
thankyou for a reply finally!

Just thought I'd post the battery mods I did for ApeX. They've been up for a while on Phandroid.
Make sure you have ApeX and the respective theme (Revo or Nextheme) installed first.
Thanks

great job with the things you've done mate, really impressive. i realize that you can only use this a specific ROM, but i was wondering if you could modify this framework for me by swapping its battery indicator with yours on the right, next to the clock.
All credits go to teenfaces as he's the one that compiled my favorite theme, ever.
(To find his framework, search this forum for: "Froyo 2.2 Dark Gray StatusBar". Since i can't yet put up "external" links)
I would really really appreciate it. You have no idea. Honestly, it'd just simply be the best. Simple, polished and stock. Thanks for your time mate.
which one? there are several different versions.
Version 4 please
Anyone have the ability to make a notification bar for Lou's rEVO rom, that has the same colors as his stock, animates smooth icons, but the look/images of the new sense bar (vertical battery/3g icon, etc)?
If so, thanks
I would try, but have NO experience as all

I'm confused, u want GB icons, on the stock noti bar?
I was looking for a bar like THIS one:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=901822
But in the gray colors that come stock with redemptive rEVOlution. Also, Im not sure if its possible to incorporate the animated sync, DL/UL, Install icons, etc.?
Thats what I meant, sorry for the confusion
I think it would be feasible for one of the themers on the forum to do that but it seems that development on that rom is pretty dead, I haven't seen Lou on the forums in forever (although I haven't been around that long).

i havent seen him in a while either, just not sure how stable these new sense roms are yet, so I am waiting on those. If he releases an update for redemption tho, i may switch over
Yeah it would be good to see him come back and get a new GB version out. I tried the kingdom port and there were some pretty cool things but it was pretty unresponsive and the lockscreen was pretty hit and miss. Not really anything I would recommend for a daily rom yet but with time I think those issues will get ironed out.

honestly id prefer a sense 2.1 gingerbread thats stable, because i hear 3.0 is a little overpowered for our phones, but that 2.1 is smooth
so lemme just try to get this right, if all you want is the stock gray noti bar, with the Green gingerbread icons/sync ani's and that stuff. easy as pie.
essentially yeah, but i swapped over to warm Z 2.2 and that has it all already. Thanks though
hey guys,
first how do i flash a new theme? just though recovery and cwm? do i need to wipe any data or anything?
second, how do i know what themes are compatible with what roms? i really want the circle battery meter on the upper toolbar with the actual battery percentage.
thanks!
I am almost positive they work on any ROM...also avoid calling them "themes" use the term add-ons
o, ok great...
do you have a suggestion for a good battery meter? not a widget but one showing up on the upper toolbar.

You can make one here....

I know there are a ton of them in the dev section, I always come across them, just never when I'm actually looking for one...
You would be talking about a battery modification. Technically themes and modifications are almost the same thing.
They are flashed through cwm recovery much like a rom is. Though generally it is good to wipe the cache and dalvik.
Also no not all battery modifications are compatible with every rom. Different roms have different framework. Generally if there is a battery mod the dev will specify as to which rom it is specifically for. So as a good rule of thumb check the thread for the rom you are using to see if it has any modifications that you can use. If it doesn't, but you do happen to find a modification that you like, ask the dev (of the rom you are using) if it is compatible, or if they would be willing to make a compatible version.
So I was over a friends house putting the Cyanogenmod7 ROM on my HTC Incredible. I saw he had a Thunderbolt running BAMF Remix 1.8 and couldn't help but notice his Battery icon on the status bar was awesome. Soo after looking through the forums on XDA and Google, i've come to see if there is anyone who either knows of a way to get that custom accurate battery on my phone running Cyanogenmod7. All tip and help appreciated. Thank you.
Looks like the standard circle battery, pretty sure you can do this with the UOT kitchen. It's also present on certain CM7 themes.
Thanks man for the timely response.. I'll check out UOT Kitchen. I also sent a message to the developer of BAMF.. So if I get a response i'll be sure to post an update incase anyone else was wondering what I am.
Actually, if you look down further in this forum, there's a thread by mattyg and userjf that has all sorts of battery mods. I checked and there's a few circle battery mods.
Yeah, I checked out the post by Mattyg & Userjf. The battery mod is similar to that of the one on UOT Kitchen.. Again thanks for the good find. I have spoke with the developer of BAMF and he's going to be working with the Cyanbread theme for Cyanogenmod7 to integrate the custom accurate battery mod from BAMF Remix 1.8 to it. I just happen to find that battery mod to be the best one I have seen imho.
Nice. I just thought it looked similar, not really sure on the functionality since I haven't tried any battery mods personally.
I recently flashed back to Eaglesblood AOSP 4.0.4 just because I felt like having something new and missed the slight hwa and ICS look and feel. However, not having a battery percentage option built into the ROM is driving me crazy. I've been looking for a mod/zip/addon/etc that will give me a battery percentage instead of a plain old batter icon meter. Does anyone here know of anything that could do this for me? I did find an AOSP modding app that modified battery icons from the playstore, but none of the custom icons include a percentage =(
Maybe rom toolbox? I haven't looked in awhile but I thought there were quite a few percentage options in their theme changer section.
Edit: yes. Lots. Status bar icons section. I think some of them don't do 1% though. The stock looking ones do though.
I like you a lot. Thanks lol!

If you use battery info app it will show percentage but on the wrong side
