[Q] phone services - Eee Pad Transformer Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, I was curious if there was any way of making the eee pad transformer to be able to use GSM functions. I know if i had a secondary phone you could prob do a engineering port and jerry rig it to work. I was wondering if there was a simpler method? Like how meemo pad from asus does it? Or is it just impossible. THanks

Transformer and DVB-T TV-Tuner USB Stick

Hi
I've searched through various forums, but couldn't find an answer.
Is there a chance (in the near future) to use a DVB-T
USB Tuner with a honeycomb "powered" android device like the eee pad transformer?
Meaning does anybody know whether someone tried to program drivers for such devices for android 3.x?
I know there is a solution for Gen8 Archos devices with various USB Tv-tuners, but I couldn't find something similar for the eee pad.
Please excuse my bad English
Thanks in advance
Duffy

[Q] Asus Transformer Prime question

Just got my Transformer Prime, but a website that I use daily isn't showing a full screen. Any ideas why? How to correct it?

Generic Keyboard dock

Hi! Sorry don't know very well where to post this.
Does anyone knows any generic keyboard dock for a 10'' tablet? (spanish keyboard layout is desirable). I'm planning to buy an ASUS memo pad 10, and see no dock avaiable for it.

EBay. They have Bluetooth ones. You will lose out on the extra battery life, USB port, SD port though.

USB RJ45 ethernet dongle for the Note 8

I am hoping to use my Note 8 for part of my work which is to manage our campus wifi network. Not to worry I get the networking stuff and then some, my question is has anyone managed to setup an ethernet dongle with their Note 8?
I exepct if it does work I need to root, happy to make that happen as I need to add a custom HOSTS file anyway. I just expect there may be some Android massaging needed that I can mange as well with a few hints here and there of course.
For now I was just hoping someone had tried it before I buy this dongle:

Of course I know it will work with my Asus Infinity so I guess it's safe but I don't want to drag my Infinity into the crawlspaces thanks to this horrid but cool brushed aluminum case. Plus the beastie is bigger and thus has a more fragile screen. On the plus side for the Infinity is it has a full size USB port in the dock so no micro to standard USB adapter needed.

I've only tried the Ethernet dongle from the first generation ASUS Zenbook - doesn't work on stock. But does work on a stock Transformer Prime.
With root it would be possible to load custom compiled kernel modules, or it used to be possible on older devices.

Thanks for the tip about the Zenbook's dongle. I did not think about switching kernals. Sure that might be the best bet in the longer term. Thanks for the suggestion.

[Q] Hey Guys Information about the ASUS MeMO Pad Smart 10

Hey guys,
So I've been searching for a tablet and wanted to buy a TF300T in new condition but they're not available near me anymore. Not really a fan of online shopping so I've set my eyes on the Memo Pad Smart 10". I see the specs are almost identical to the TF300T except for the camera. Is the Memo Pad Smart 10 a good idea and will the Roms from the TF300T development section preferably CM 10.2 for TF300T work with this tablet?
