After flashing the lastest radio, I am getting no sound on during the boot animation. I was wondering if someone could pull it from their phone and upload it here for me to push onto mine. I feel empty without the thunderclap.
Thanks!

The non themed version one has it I believe.
I had the exact same problem yesterday. Installed the new RUU, notice that there wasn't any sound during the first restart which is normal.
Installed Bamf 1.5 Remix and didn't hear any sound either. Even after 3 restarts there wasn't any sound. I then decided to just reflash with the Non Themed Bamf 1.5 and from the first restart, the sound was there.

just rooted and installed inspire revolution hd rom on my new inspire phone using ace-hack-kit-v9 and my phone has no sound. I followed the both part 1 and 2 of the video tutorial from start to finish. After the rom installation, I try to change the sound and nothing. Please help.
Download another ROM and flash it through Recovery. My personal preference is AndroidRevolution .Your sound will be fixed.

did you flash the radio back? Its probably just a bad flash. Make sure you wipe everything. Dalvik, Card Partition, Data factory reset them flash.

After rooting you will not have sound until you flash another rom.
This will also solve your problem....

I flashed another rom (inspired-dhd-afr003 rom) and the sound started to work again (although still very shrill and small) but then the gmail started to force close. I went back and flashed the Revolution rom with the stock inspire kernal and no sound again. I reflash a new rom and now everything is working fine. My Inspire has a great connection to the net (3.7 mbit down and 1.7 mbit up) and stable. Only thing is now my voice dial on bluetooth doesn't work (maybe because of the downgrade?) but I don't miss it very much because it didn't work on my Capitvate even after the floyo upgrade.

I had some issues where I had no sound even after flashing a ROM on multiple times. What solved everything for me was downloading and flashing CoreDroid through ROM Manager, rebooting, then flashing the CoreDroid update through ROM Manager.
My best guess is the original version of CoreDroid I flashed did not include the Inspire sound fix, whereas the update specifically said Inspire support was included.
Cordroid will have voice dial working and there is a patch for Revolution to make it work. You may have a Radio issue, what radio are you using?

Right now I'm using 12.41.60.19_26.06.04.14M and getting around 1 and 3mb/s down, and a little lower than that up. I'm wondering if that is the best radio for me, but still am pretty clueless on the version and band numbers. This is in the South Florida area, if it makes a difference.
Edit: I just did another speed test and came back with about 4mb/s down. I'm thinking I'm only limited by the network now.
Been using H57 and imnuts voodoo kernel for a while. Having tons of problems with the phone rebooting at random. At least once a day, it freezes when I press the lock button to wake it up...vibrates once, then twice, then reboots with no response from the panel.
Looking for better performance and more reliability. Anyone have experience with the MIUI Rom? What doesnt work properly? Is it recommended?
If so, what is the best kernel to use? I hear lots of good things about the glitch kernel. What is the installation procedure?

Read and re-read here for info on MIUI. Everything works with pretty much the same quirks with AOSP ROMs (sensors, occasional phantom ring, in-call volume depending on kernel, can't charge with phone powered off, etc).

Depends on what your needs are. Use the bundled JT's V3 kernel for better in-call volume, or use Glitch's kernel for oc/uv and voodoo color. The installation is the same as any kernel on CWM4. The in-call volume is being worked on by a couple of people on Glitch's V12. You can find V12 Beta Wave 2 here.

You flash it just like any other ROM; the difference here is that it will flash CWM4, reboot, and automatically flash MIUI. Take the same precautions as you would when flashing anything else.
Make sure you read dfgas's instructions on how to return to stock just in case you need to go back.
Awesome, thanks for the tips!
Went with the install last night. For some reason, It didnt not upgrade my CWM...im still on 3.2.2 yellow...but the MIUI rom is installed and runs great.
I notice that voodoo lagfix is not included on this kernel- is it not recommended for MIUI?
A couple of quirks I have noticed- no flashlight app works. Any recommendations to get it back working?
Other than that , I love it. Awesome personalization and performance so far.

CWM3 actually still stays installed, but don't use the 3-finger method to use it, anymore. When you choose reboot from the phone, you can choose recovery to go into CWM4. You can also use ADB to reboot into recovery from your PC or from a terminal session.

Voodoo lagfix fixed the slowness issue with the slower RFS filesystem by converting it to EXT4. MIUI/CM7 is EXT4/Yaffs by default.

That's one of the issues with the Mesmerize and CM7-based ROMS. The flash will work with the camera, but the flashlight/torch feature currently doesn't work.
Does anyone know why I have "PowerOn.ogg" file in System/Media/Audio/PowerOn folder, but I have no sound when booting up latest NexusBeam 4.1.0 ICS!? Does ICS have sound to it's boot up animation then? Never had any sound on boot up ever, since having this phone! Even on stock!?
Who knows.. Ezekeel's kernels always included a boot sound as well, but I've never actually heard the damn thing.

This is doing my head in to the point I have borrowed a new HTC Sensation only to find the problem exists on this phone also.
When using the Camera App If I hit the power button the screen turns off. I am then unable to switch the screen back on - It appears the phone crashes.
Behaviour some times differs depending whether I have taken a photo or not.
The following behaviour is observed:
The lights stay illuminate on the soft keys at the bottom of the screen.
The phone can receive calls how ever it doesn't ring and I unable to answer them.
This problem is confirmed on 2 seperate devices which have been flashed with:
Android Revolution HD 3.6.12
10.58.9035.00U_10.15.9035.02_2 radio
I have also run super wipe on the phone before installing the HD Rom.
Please help!?
Ive also had this problem on a few diffrent roms.
But i flashed amaze camara update, and not had any prob since.
Im now running the latest ICS with sense, with what ever camara software came with the rom. And not had any problem

Having the same issues on both mine and my wives phones, both running AR 3.6.11 along with lag and other issues! Pretty fed up - and considering a different ROM. How is the ICS ROM, any issues like the 3.6.11? Is it hard to install?
I would try Elegancia ICS. Maybe a little pain to install, if you need to update your firmware.

You may have to superCID if the firware dont work. Also easy todo
See post 4

Have a read of the last 10 pages or so of the ICS thread for superCID info if your stuck, but it is easy.
I will give it a try! Do you just download the zip firmware and flash it?
It's not a rom problem, it is faux's kernel problem.
You can flash bricked kernel to solve.

Put the img zip directly on the SD card, not in any folder.
Boot the phone in to bootloader Power on volume down same time.
Just follow the instructions.
DO NOT POWER OFF REMOVE BATTERY ETC.
You will have to remove file from memory card before rebooting.
If you fail with the upload, then you will have to superCID
