Timestamp on pictures taken with HTC sense camera - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

Hi,
Looking for a way to automatically apply a timestamp on pictures taken with HTC sense camera.
The feature was in earlier versions of HTC camera with desire/bravo's sense version. Now I have a desire hd Rom and although it's newer, this feature is missing.
Thanks!

So I guess, officially, the feature is gone?

What's with gallery not letting "you" rotate pictures anymore?

[DEV] HTCCamera Flash time on Desire HD ports is not synchronized with photo

HTCCamera Flash time on Desire HD gingerbread ports is not synchronized with photo, and night photos are darker than in froyo roms, so somebody know, where is exactly the time to run the flash led on a photo, to modify it?
I have decompiled camera apk, but I don't find times or values to this.

I've recently observed the same condition on RCMixS 2.0/2.1 and would love to see the solution to it. I think I asked the same question somewhere in that rom's thread but never got an answer so I thought it was just me ... guess it's not.
up this thread
Also the auto enhance function does nothing.
i mentioned this problem some weeks ago but no one else noticed it...i am glad it's not my imagination!!! it would be great if there was a fix and don't have to revert back to froyo roms
I tested with InsertCoin v50. Results:
With the Sense 3.0 HTCCamera the pics are way too dark.
With lgCamera the pics are much better.
After that I replaced the 3.0 HTCCamera apk with the 2.1 HTCCamera apk from the actual stable release of InsertCoin. Now the pics are at the same level as the lgCamera pics.
@NeoPhyTe.x360: Do you mean the Sense3.0 ports? The GB-2.1 doesn't seam to have problems.
Or do you think that the froyo camera is even more brighter than the GB-2.1 camera?
yup i noticed that yesterday!!! the pics are dark at night...was thinking damn the flash not powerful enough... will try to go back to leedroid 2.1 GB

i think that 2.1 does have the problem too since i am now at insert coin stable and it has the problem as well. the camera in froyo roms makes way brighter images
I agree, hopefully there'll be a solution
This is my observation of the problem with ported 2.1/3.0 cameras:
Sense 3.0 camera = flash time issue (dark photos)/video works only in landscape
Sense 2.1 camera = no flash issues (normal photos)/video does't work at all.
Since I still don't use video recording that much (well, atm it's almost unusable), I'm using 2.1 camera and photos are as they should be.

Anyone tried the new Google Calendar on HTC's ICS ROM?

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.calendar
Seems it breaks some functionality on some HTC devices

Any idea if the Desire S with standard HTC ICS ROM is affected?

Sense 7 camera

Hi
I always liked the htc Sense camera and it's one of the things i miss the most on cm12. I tryed the latest sense 7 camera apk from apkmirror and it runs without FC, focus the images but wont take the picture. I don't know if it as something to do with the fact that we can't change the storage directory (see screenshot) or if it simply can't work without sense framework. Did anyone found a solution for this?
I use cm-12-20150403-NIGHTLY
H-BOOT : 2.15
Thanks in advanced

Suggestion: HTC camera, gallery and browser

They works perfectly on CM13 (and other roms)
HTC camera:
http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/htc-co.../htc-camera-7-30-581119-android-apk-download/
It works perfectly for taking pictures and videos and offers some new functionality.
HTC Gallery (version with moments preview):
http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/htc-co...ion/gallery-9-02-850719-android-apk-download/
It shows photos divided in moments folder, based on location and time.
HTC browser
http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/htc-co...nternet-7-20-2522332440-android-apk-download/
With its famous text resize

I use that old Gallery version because it has working moments preview.
Latest version will work too without problems: it no more has moments preview, but it has a newer and better photo editor.
can i somehow change the path where photos get saved? I'd like it in the normal camera folder..
