Help needed for UOT Kitchen

Does anyone know hoe to make themes for gingerbread in UOT Kitchen?
When it comes to "file upload", I dont know what to do.
Please help.
If you have a gingerbread ROM then you have to unzip the ROM file you flashed and go into the folders (/system/framework and /system/app) To find the 2 files it requires.
If its froyo then only the frameworkres.apk is needed
The files are found within the zip file of the ROM you downloaded

Thanks. That seams more complicated then I thought.
Its actually really easy. What you need to do is get the rom you've installed and if its gingerbread, get the framework-res.apk and the systemui.apk and upload those files.
Then once you've got the zip file from the kitchen, you will also need to get the update binary file from the rom too and replace the one in the zip from the kitchen and then put it on the sdcard and install from CWM.
It may sound a little daunting, but once you've done it once or twice it will become second nature

Update the rom

I want to ask how to update the MIUI rom by tiger2wander?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1311603
Just flash all the files?
I am using Motorola XT720
THX
If you'er using Milestone XT720, apply the update and Mioze7Ae's bootfix
if your're using Motoroi XT720, just flash the update file
I am actually stuck on the same step, previously I use open recovery > nandroid> restore and it works, but i dont see the option this time, and i dont see the option in update too, is there a specific folder name i must place the MIUIAnd.t2w_xt720-2.1.6.ZA.S.20120107.101644 folder at ?
if you download th zip file, you have to put it in /sdcard/openrecovery/updates folder, then boot into openrecovery, openrecovery > apply update
if it's a img file ,put it in /sdcard/nandroid/openrecovery folder, openrecovery> nandroid > restore
hello fu5ed, did you manage to port MIUI on xt720. in the latest v4 there are some minor issues like 2g/3g is not working and also some challenges around mic. waiting for tiger2wander to come back after his vacation.

THEME - XT615 MIUI Themed ROM (based on Relentless ROM)

I found some interesting things on chinese forums so i decide to put them into rom and share with other. I use Relentless rom as a base and put all things into one.
So i dont know if its compatible with other .sbf versions, but im using german .sbf posted by Enox and it works fine. If you think, these theme is based on chinese .sbf version... so it should work well with other .sbf without problem.
- Relentless rom (base)
- Updated updater-script (remove all unnecesary apps)
- Smart Launcher (you can use whatever you want)
- New systemUI.apk & framework-res.apk (miui theme)
- theres only one bug you can see on screenshots
- Note: this updated version dont include new apps which replace stock. You can use whatever you want.
Install:
1. flash german .sbf file with RSD Lite (you can try with other)
2. copy Miui Themed rom on SD card
3. run CWM posted by Enox http://d-h.st/7Q0
4. install zip file from SD card and reboot
Download XT615 MIUI Themed ROM:
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B1QhoBpCoCSSMUJyUHJCc0VZN1k/edit
cannot flash the canadian xt615 with other sbf files. process gets to 80 percent then just gives an error and goes into a bootloop.
I know about your problem.. and i dont know how to solve this.
Which RSD you use?
Try this: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B1QhoBpCoCSSWVJGV2Ryc0xPVFE/edit
Not able to download the file.
Think you have to make the file public.
Wheres the bug? I can help you if you want

Upps.. sorry, i didnt notice that Now its ok.
On the last screenshot you will see a little menu bug.
Edit: 5.5.13
Tommorow i will upload new zip file. I found some zip error.. now i fix that. But i decide to change some things in update-script.
Now i uploaded rom into rar arhive, because of problems with zip error.
Extract file and copy zip file to SD card/flash with CWM.
I have no StatusBar on this ROM. I cant find a way to reenable it...

[NE7] SM-T217 Native Hotspot Hack.

Guys, I am new to the work of roms and images.
This is my first post as well. I'm so excited I had to share this for all you Tab 3, Sprint Users
This is a hack for the native hotspot/tether.
Model Number: SM-T217S
Android Version: 4.4.2
Baseband Version: T217SVPUBNE7
I spent all week following other mods and post here on the forums, I don't take the full credit, I patched my services.jar/services.odex files to make the native hotspot work.
Make sure your Baseband is the same or this will not work. (Latest Version)
Device must be rooted.
I have the STOCK ROM, OXED version and have tested it and it works.
I'd love to see someone else gain use from this too
For you pro's out there, if you have a better method of writing the instructions or delivery of the files, please feel free to do so.
___________________________________________________________________________
There are two files, one is for OXED STOCKED ROMS, and one is for DEOXED ROMS.
PLEASE CHECK for the presents of oxed files in the /system/framework folder first.
If you have .oxed files you have the OXED version.
For Oxed Versions,
Remount the /system for read write.
Backup your original services.oxed file
Extract this modded file, copy to sd card.
Move the services.oxed to /system/framework
For Deoxed Versions,
Remount the /system for read write.
Backup your original services.jar file
Extract this modded file, copy to sd card.
Move the services.jar to /system/framework
I also would like to recommend that you have TWRP recovery installed.
If something does go wrong, you can boot into recovery and move your original files back.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For you devs that want to reproduce this mod,
De-compile the stock services.odex file.
open the file "/com/android/server/connectivity/Tethering.smali"
on line 6499 -
Original - if-eqz v8, :cond_108
Modded - if-nez v8, :cond_108
Again Tested and Working.
