I'd like to add just for future reference, that when you flash a new ROM, it may and will significantly longer than usual on the first boot right after flashing, since the system is getting setup "for the first use" in simple words.

Virtuos unity

Why virtuos unity is not yet supported in rom manager?
Sent from my HTC Desire S using XDA App
Ok guys... It's getting a bit messy in here... Why don't You ask this question in Virtuos Unity Rom thread? I dig this whole friendly atmosphere and stuff, but c'mon... This section needs some more agressive moderation.
You are better off updating using your computer anyway, less chance for anything to go wrong.
Yeah... I have noticed the last few days people are posting in the wrong sections! Come on guys!

Why is everyone so quick to flame without actually realising the situation
When he wrote the post, he had less than 10 posts, meaning he CAN'T write in the main thread in the Dev forum. So what he did was the RIGHT THING.

[Q] How do I get out of Bootloop?

Edit: I have found out how to get out of Boot loop. Thanks. Mod you may close thread.
Hey guys, I just made a theme with UOT Kitchen and I'm stuck in boot loop. How do I get out of it so that I may flash a stable rom?
I'm pretty new at this and this is the first time I have made a UOT theme...probably the last too.
Please help me.
I have an HTC Inspire 4G running CM7.1
Pull your battery & boot into recovery & restore from a back up Rom hopefully you made. Post in q&a next time or try searching.

[REF][Q&A] Official ICS Update Q&A Thread

The speculation thread has filled up with pointless questions on the ROM. (I.E - non development info)
Examples...
'How do I disable vibration?'
'How do I turn off keyboard sound?'
Etc
Time to keep it simple, here is the Q&A thread, post any questions you have here, about the official updates.

I got 2 little questions:
1. How can I change the first day of the calendar from Sunday to Monday?
2. Why my "network provided time zone" is GMT+3, if I'm in Romania (GMT+2)? OK, I changed manually, but ... why?
Thanks!

that link says, Install Desire S official ICS update and keep S-OFF and RECOVERY, but I think I have stock DS so it means my S-ON right?
I installed the rom and its quite nice - but there are two main problems, which i can't manage to solve on my own. ..
1. After disabling the spelling correction, it should be off - but in some apps, like trillian, its still activated. Didn't have that problem on 2.3
2. Same for vibrate feedback. Turned it off - but it's still on while typing in my apps.
Thats annoying while chatting ~_~
--------- Solved ----------
Should have looked further. .. found the options to disable both in the Touch Input Keyboard options. ..

[Q] Brick?

I unlocked the boot loader of my HTC One XL, flashed TWRP, wiped cache, dcache, did a factory reset. Booted in factory default, copied ROM and GAPPS to folder, booted in TWRP, installed the ROM zip, installed the GAPPS zip. Rebooted into system. Now my phone wont turn on, there's no charging light. Did I brick this thing? Was my mistake not to have flashed the boot img?:crying:
You have to flash the boot.img before flashing Rom. Just factory reset flash boot and reinstall. I did the same thing.
And post in q&a next time

Keep it plugged it and keep trying to power up. Hold the volume down if it starts to boot up.

BTW, I wonder if people (like me) post Q&A in the General Thread b/c the description of the general thread is written:
