I am having this issue as well. Anyone got any ideas?

same here. also affecting LPro widgets. I have no idea what it could be though....

any solution yet?

nope. it's a problem with sense and scrolling widgets from what I've read.

I do not think it's a sense issue as I have 0 issues with my other scrollable widgets. I have filed a bug report to both Launcher Pro and Plume.
Can someone test if the issue is there in ADW as well?

I just installed this and the widget works fine with ADW. Scrolling and all.

Don't mark off scrollable and the widget will be fine.

That completely evades the problem
The non scrolable widget is fine, the issue is with the scrollable one.
That said, yeah, Im using the non scrollable one until a workaround or bugfix is out.

Launcher pro beta in the Market.

There is a new launcher in the market right now that im using it works great.it called launcherpro.
I would install "home switcher"also in the market. That way while you are setting up your new layout you can go back and fourth. Without being interrupted by that a default prompt.
Launcher pro has single tap of home button that brings up the leap view, and it also has pinch to leap. With added gesture of dialer, contacts, internet, and messages at the bottom of every page.
Also it has a app launcher similar to the N1. Without the 3d cube effect.
Very responsive worth a try, only downfall is none of the htc widgets work while using this launcher. Bc their widgets are tired in to it.
I use the flip clock from the market, its customizable.and dolphin hd with their bookmarks widget and the friendstream app , that way it still has a sense feel to it.
UPDATE: Dev updated the home button to have the option of going to default screen or to the leap view. Also has auto rotation wich is something sense does not allow.

Its definitely intetesting, I just don't know how long I could deal with missing things like the friendstream widget.
That being said, I really like the app drawer. Its very awesome!

Exactly! Gotta have the sense widgets. I use for HelixLauncher 2 for about 5min then I have to switch back to sense.
You can pull from your app drawer the friendstream app, that's really all I miss, the sense widgets look great but are too big for my liking. If you use beautiful widgets from their clock you can set shortcuts to, calender, clock alarm, and weather.

i downloaded launcherpro. i only have 3 screens, unlink with sense when i have like 5 or something. also i have no idea what this app drawer, maybe its the menu button thing that opens all your apps, but if it is its the same thing as sense except cool animation.
also side note, im using chompsms widget, i saw some pics of someone using it and it had pic of the person in the widget, do i need to donate to get that or what?
It has three by default. Hit the menu button then preferences you can have up to seven screens.

Found it, downloaded it, used it, deleted it.
If I diddnt have sense, I'd be all over this. But for me, it just seems a little redundant. I personally, prefer the real thing.

[Q] Friendstream-like widget?

Does anyone know of a widget that's similar to the smaller of the Friendstream styles, where it's just a text input box that posts to multiple accounts?
**EDIT**
TweetDeck, exactly what I was looking for.
Launcher Pro Plus also has a Facebook and Twitter widget that is very similar to sense.
what's wrong with friendstream?

I'm using ADW as my launcher. There's nothing wrong with Friendstream, it just only works if you use Sense. =)
I have to try TweetDeck, I do miss Friendstream on LauncherPro
Try Colorize Widget

Pure messenger widget does way way more
good functions but not smooth

I used the one built into LauncherPro Plus.
Switched from ADW a while back, might want to give LPP a spin.
I'm now just using Sense and and actually like it.

Launcher pro or adw rows and columns

Anyone who's using Launcherpro or adw launcher as their primary launcher - can you please share the number of rows and number of columns you have set in your settings? Instead of experimenting myself, I'd rather use tried and tested rows/columns
P.s. I'd love if adw and launcherpro get ported to honeycomb. Default launcher's inability to resize widgets is a deal breaker for me

Try this for an ADW comparable Launcher.
10x10 works perfect for me in LP.

Yup, same issue with launcherpro gmail widget
The Gmail widget doesn't work in anything above 2.2, unfortunately. I checked the LP forum, and it seems Fede doesn't have Gingerbread or HC to test against, so that won't get fixed anytime soon. Luckily, there is a nice, functional Gmail widget included in HC. It doesn't match the other LP widgets, but I've gotten used to it.

Not 100% true. I've been using LP with miui and cm7 on my inspire and the Gmail widget works fine. Both are 2.3
Hmm you're right, I just tried it on my Evo running 2.3, and now it works Didn't work with the last 2.3 ROMs I tried on my Evo and my old gTab, but obviously something has been poked at since then. Disregard!
To fix launcher pro gmail, remove widget, backup, uninstall, reinstall, and restore. That fixed it for me.
That didn't work for me Still stuck at "loading."

10x7 on home screen; 7x5 landscape apps drawer.
I basically noted what the stock launcher was doing and then tweaked things to taste.

ADW Widgets

I am on CM7 which came with ADW and it was fast. But I need good calendar and power toggle widgets( wife, gps, sync, mobile, brightness..all in one), so I switched to GO Launchers. HOwever, GO seems to be really slow, noticeably so. ANyone else seen this? I did freeze ADW and my quadrant score is actually the same, so it must be a Go Launcher thing?
Are there good power and calendar widgets that you can recommend for ADW?
Thanks
Yes its the Go launcher,s problem its slow and freezes all the time..why dont you try ADW launcher EX..

I use widgetsoid and pure news widget scrollable...im not sure if they are still on the market though.
APW (Android pro widgets) is very good for calendars and different feeds. Elixir is one of the best power toggles I've used. So much stuff you can do with it. And its free!
Android Agenda Widget - Calendar, Lots of features
Power control can be done via status bar but if you wanting a widget...
Power Control.
i would love to find a nice contacts widget and a messages widget for my htc inspire

Apw has the best contact and message widgets, if you get the pro version make sure you install the ics theme for it, it looks superb

Tweetcaster pro scrollable widget?

Ok, this probably needs to be moved to G2x Q&A. Sorry about that.
Hey all. A bit frustrated with twitter clients because I have two twitter accounts and I was looking for one app to optimize both. I love the Plume scrollable widget, but it doesn't separate tweets well for multiple accounts (i.e. - each in its own widget).
For some reason, the scrollable widget in Tweetcaster has worked only a couple of times - that is, I've placed it on my home screen, physically scrolled it and saw it work. That was... Awhile ago. I desperately want the scroll widget to work because there's no sense in using more than one app if one does what I need. Now when I select one of the three options, I don't get a scrollable widget at all. I've tried it under multiple conditions, and I've either been using the stock, Hellfire Phoenix ROM, with no custom launcher, Launcher Pro, and most preferably GO Launcher. Scrollable widgets option is on and operational because Plume's widget works without fail.
Does anyone know what's going on here?
