I started getting this error when I flashed CM7. It would happen every now and then but not too much. I decided to wait until CM7 was working perfectly on the Inspire so I reflashed Android Revolution. Everything went fine at first and I put all my data back on. Now I'm getting the error nonstop. I can't use the phone at all because when I force close to get rid of the error another one pops up and its an endless cycle. Does anyone know what causes this and what I can do to get rid of it?

I'm running TnTlite 4.1. I can't seem to keep my GTablet running for more than a couple of days before something goes wrong and it becomes unusable. Whether it's acore errors, ADW launcher crashing and requiring constant reboots, or now the newest inability to download from the market, it always seems to be something. The advice for most of the problems is to just re-install TnTLite, or whatever rom you're using. Do people view this as a reasonable solution to every problem, where you're constantly just waiting for the next time the thing breaks again?
Anyway, I am now completely unable to download anything from the Market. Everything says the download failed. I see the issue popping up on other devices, and workarounds to fix which involve clearing cache on the Market and several other Apps (some of which I don't have), but this isn't working for me. Has anyone else come across this issue? How did you fix it? I'm about at wits end with this tablet. I've spent way more time attempting to make this thing usable than I have actually using it.
I have a Sidekick 4G with the Glorious Overdose v5 ROM. Yesterday night, I found that everytime I restarted the phone, all of the phone's processes would crash and I would never get past the Setup Wizard after I rebooted. Before it started to crash, I had just put some new music on it and after I disconnected it from my computer, my phone crashed and nothing would work after. Is there a solution to this? Or is it just the update with the ROM? I would love to get my phone back to working again because I love Glorious Overdose.
I've got a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (P5113), wi-fi only. About a month or so back, I got stuck in a reboot loop, where the tablet would simply reboot itself (almost) constantly. I hadn't installed any new apps or done anything of note to 'trigger' this, that I was aware of. Finally I got fed up and did a system reset.
This seemed to fix the rebooting issue, but introduced a new issue: I would, upon startup of the tablet, get a message that stated: "com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly". Everything would work fine after that, except for the small detail that I couldn't open my settings. When I attempted to click on Settings, it would clear to the home screen, but nothing would happen after that.
I assumed I could deal with that for a little while, but we just moved and I needed to get the tablet to connect to our new wifi. Without Settings, I didn't have any way to connect, so I decided to try another factory reset, hoping it would fix the issue. That's left me where I'm at now:
The system boots to the Samsung Setup wizard, but I immediately get that same error "com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly", and it's followed by another error, which says "Unfortunately, Samsung SetupWizard has stopped". Therefore, I can't get the tablet running again, in any meaningful way.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd really rather not just assume it's broken if it's not, but I'm at a bit of a loss.
Thanks,
Dan
Hi, I've had my 1+ for about a month now running on stock (but rooted). Today my phone has been showing the "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped" dialog. I click ok and the signal is lost. Few seconds later signal reappears but then dialog pops up again. It only started this morning. I haven't changed anything or flashed any fw or basebands.
It's a bit of concern. I've got a phone interview this afternoon and I really don't want the phone to cut out during it!!!
Does anyone know of how this happens and what mighht be done to resolve the problem. I'd rather not have to do a reset.
Many thanks.
Update: I seem to have resolved the issue by flushing the cache and data + force closing all phone/txt/contact apps. I also flashed a different modem for good measure. So far (over an hour now) I've not had the message come back. I suspect there was some conflict somewhere with the afore mentioned apps.
I have this issue after 1 week with the phone.
Same problem as yours, I only rooted the phone still running Stock 11S.
This problem happens this morning out of no where.
Been foreclosing all these apps and clear cache/data and hopefully it'll fix it...

So I recently installed lineage os on my samsung s6 and I really liked it at the beginning. But after a few hours I noticed that some apps just randomly freezed all the time and worst of all the call function was totally bugged out. Every time I call somebody one of 2 things happens: either I get to call the person normally and afterwards the phone goes into bootloop, or it doesnt let me call the person at all and the whole phone just freezes and goes into Bootloop with the error code "process system isn't working". I'm really frustrated since I can't use the phone for anyhting right now since it totally bugs out after everything. The same problem happens when I try to call with whatsapp or other calling apps. I already tried to ipdate lineage and even reflashed it and I tried reinstalling gapps but nothing seems to work. I am able to get out of bootloop by booting into recovery but this doesn't help at all since it will go back to bootloop the next time I get called/ call someone! Please help me , I haven't found a single person that has gotten the same problem!
The exact same thing happening here - very frustrating. Haven't found a fix yet, maybe the next nightly?
Same here!
