2.3.2 market issue - Nexus S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Has the 2.3.2 malrer issue been fixed yet? I'm sick of this notification to update.
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App

Which issue might that be? Whitelisting?
I have notice that a couple of my paid apps don't reappear after a full wipe (i.e TouchDown Pro license).

Protected apps not appearing.

There is a problem with protected apps in this update for some reason. I'm working on it. A build.prop change back to the old fingerprint doesn't appear to fix it, but that doesn't mean it can't be done.

And its fixed

Market says I do not have any apps installed when I do.

This keeps happening ever since the new market update. This bothers me beacause now I can not know when there are updates.

This happened when I used the new market someone uploaded on CM7. As if "clear data" was done on the Market.
Titanium Market Doctor didn't fix it.
I redownloaded a TON of my apps to "fix" it, then a few minutes later, they all disappeared and showing install. Tried again and same thing, I got pissed and reverted my Nandroid back to old Market.
Note. It was the 2.2.10 I used, there's now a 2.2.11, wonder if that fixed it?
Nope I have 2.2.11

2.2.11 is supposed to be some kind of security fix.

Same issue with go launcher ex.....
It's an issue everyone with the new market is experiencing. If you just wait a while and check back later it will probably let you update. Or just set the apps to auto update. Or update them using the web market.
I haven't had an issue. As a matter of fact, it updated 22 apps via the auto update feature last night (incl GO Launcher).
OK thanks gtg/ guys

You are right, the problems with the new Market seems to fix itself a few hours or less after you upgrade the market.....
I had the same issues with it myself, was about to restore the previous version of the market when I noticed that all is well with the new market.

Is it telling you there isn't enough space for Cordy?
I don't know what Gordy is, but I get no errors about disk space or anything else.,
I have been able to normally update apps for the past 2.5 days and I have updated a lot of apps cause I have over 134 apps installed.

On MIUI - had it pushed to me last week. At first I thought it was a pita to use.
But... after I played with it a bit I think I like it a lot better than the old market.
The only thing I don't like is that it is painful if your not on wireless and have a slow connection.
I am not liking the update at all....

I just got the update today. It feels very cramped and unorganized.
got mine last night sort of reminds me of the new windows 8 ui
running stock also but rooted
It showed up on mine this afternoon. It seems to purposely designed to avoid free apps.

Everyone was so excited when this was first announced.
They took out the option to disable the "updates available" notification.
Also youtube and flash player don't show up under "my apps" in the market anymore. If I search them, they say installed and allow updating that way

Wrong again. I got the market update yesterday, checked My Apps and it shows Flash Player and You Tube.
Edited: Not all phones play nice, I apologize.

Except I was talking about on my phone, not yours...
For me, on my phone, clearing market cache and titanium market doctor/linking are not fixing it either.

Normally bugs don't affect every user/configuration. They would be quickly/easily fixed if they did. Just because the bug doesn't affect you doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
:edit:
www.google.com/support/androidmarket/bin/static.py?hl=en&page=known_issues.cs
Its at the top of the list of market issues. The problem is definitely real
Alright guys let's play nicely ok.....
Different people experience different bugs. No need for sarcastic comments or petty squabbling.

Xda app keeps disappearing

My xda premium app keeps disappearing for some reason maybe its AT&T uninstalling it. Is anyone else having the same issue? I'm currently on non rooted stock rom.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using Tapatalk
Lol no att is not uninstalling it. By ut keeps disapearing what exactly do u mean you know there is more then 1 home screen right? Is it possible it on one of your other home screens? Did u open the app drawer and scroll through your apps and not see it as well?
I've had this happen myself the past few days ever since I started messing around with some roms. For me, I'd go to click on the app shortcut and it would say it doesn't exist. I'd have to go back into Market and reinstall. Very odd issue and its happened around 3 times.
The last time it happened was when I went back to stock like I am now. I am still rooted though.

Nope. Just had this issue pop up again after I did a nand restore from stock. I couldn't access the app, it no longer showed anywhere on the phone (/system/app, Applications, etc.) and yet the Market showed it was installed. I ended up having to install the free app and then uninstall that to then reinstall the premium one.
Not had an issue like this with any other app.
