Battery Enhancement Tip:
This is how i have my phone set up disable all Haptic Feedback such as Keyboard and system,Disable System Updates HTC Software update,Gps off,switch roaming to sprint only so your phone isnt bouncing off and trying to find a million towers,use dark color wallpapers which most of the wallpapers i have added to the rom are dark,turn auto brightness off and lower to about 25%,use some sort of task killer i use autokiller on the android market,accounts and sync Facebook for Sense,Twitter & Weather set to updat every 3 hours and i think that just about sums it up.
I would also recommend Getting a 3500mah Extended Battery got it last week and i dont care what kernel i use i can go a day in a half with out charging doing everything you can possibly do on it, basically use the phone like its suppose to be used.

(Version 2.2) - is Based off of aamikam's 4.1 logic Masterpiece so thank him for letting me use it as my base he has about the same taste i have so i thought i would use his rom this time.Usually i build my own roms from RUU's in the kitchen
(Version 2.3) - is Some what based off of aamikam's 4.0 reason why 4.0 because i did not see anything wrong with that version. Also I reverted back to stock themed apps instead of his reEngineered apps but im still using his Framework themed by myself.
Added a little bit more of Riptides Theme courtesy of him with his permission but recolored them black to match my theme
Themed the Power Control Widget (as seen in the screenshots)
Added the Colored Circle battery icon to the notification bar (as seen in the screenshots)
Rethemed the android guy in the bottom right corner of the transparent notification pull down got rid of the green outline (as seen in the screenshots)
Dialer Themed by me (as seen in the screenshots)
HTC IME (keyboard) Themed by me (as seen in the screenshots)
(Version 2.4) - In this version thanks to aamikam for letting me use his v4.4 as my base and some of his theme as well

Yeah i used to Rock the HTC Tilt and i had Manila on it that was back in 2008 when i first signed up to this Website. Had Manila on it then i was running android on the tilt it was to laggy so i upgraded in jun 2009 to the Unlocked GSM Hero then resorted to the EVO june 4th 2010

For those folks who have been running it my main concern is battery life, how is it? Also, what is IYHO the best kernel? I've always kinda defaulted to stock as it seems to be the most compatible. Currently running Calk1.7.5 but getting kinda bored with it

I have been using stock kernel seems to work very well, with moderate use I get a full days use without charging.
some have been having success with nets 2.1.9.1 cfs less havs too.

I'm using it with Nets SBC 4.1.9.1 more havs v7, no issues.

this one is 100 percent stock looking I wanted to keep it stock looking for the masses we will have lots of zips for taskbars and such

yeh i fixed a bunch of stuff in it like bluetooth and put stock kernel in added some apps did some more bin/xbin tweaks i changed a bunch also added 5 in 1 reboot for you guys but kept it stock looking

This development thread is for my "Energy" custom firmware series for the EVO !
I build my ROMs with four main goals.
Eye candy ( I want my ROM to look great and for it to all flow together nicely)
Speed !!!
Smoothness, consistency and good aesthetics
Stability through private beta testing before public release
I preconfigure a lot of things in my ROM, because when I flash it on my phone, I want it ready to go. So, the ringtone, sms/email and other notifications to already be set. Doing it this way, makes for a nice ROM that's ready out of the box.

How to Flash this ROM:
- Root your device
- Install a custom recovery
- Install the downloaded ROM .zip found in post #3
- Make sure to do a Factory Reset / Wipe data/system/cache before installing ROM

Of course the camcorder records flawlessly in 1080p mode !
Wallpaper previews are broken...
Other than that, a pretty good daily driver I think. Let me know what bugs you find, so I know what to fix. If you'd like to be part of the permanent beta testing team, please PM me. Be prepared to know what adb does and have a dropbox account ready This is not an "early accesss" program, but a way to improve the ROM by having people actively test early builds and reporting back on issues.

I was back when I had an HD2, but have had an EVO for over a year...

WOW! NRG hits the evo 4g! you and sharkie made it hard to leave my tp2 lol excited to see this

Aw snaps! What's up NRG, I missed you from my touch pro 2 days. Glad to see your doing your thang still. I will be downloading this when I get a chance and I hope you continue your work on this Rom and other works. I recently decided to dive into sense 3.5 and like it. I just wish the Rom was a little more stable and complete. In time, hopefully it'll get better.

We should communicate more and talk directly over IM, so we can make these ports better.
